Great! They came in under the quote when all was said and done. They were polite, efficient, and took excellent care of our things. Strongly recommend.

Purchased pre-paid, $475 for a 26-Foot Moving Truck, a Three-Man Crew for Three Hours. Took much longer than the pre-paid hours, almost twice as long, I can understand delays since it wasn't pre-quoted but this was ridiculous. Workers kept complaining about the move and were slow getting things loaded.

Great! They were on time, efficient, professional, and we experienced no damage to our property. Their pricing was also the most competitive for our needs.

One of the workers was clearly very new and needed a lot of direction. He moved much slower than his coworker who did his best to make up for it. The labels I placed on boxes were ignored - found them in the wrong rooms.

Better than I thought. As a military retiree my stuff has been moved all over the world. Twice! These guys are the best.

They are fabulous! Hard working, friendly, professional. The easiest move I have ever experienced, and I have moved 4 times in the last 6 years. I asked them to move some of my heavier furniture around to see how it would look and they enthusiastically obliged. Clean and neat. I would highly recommend "Uncle Sal" and his crew.

They packed up the TV's , glass furniture covers, mirrors in specially made boxes for safety. We had a complicated move in that we couldn't move us directly and had to wait to get us into our new home. They really worked with us on that. They were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

They damaged our floor. They nicked up the floor. I think they knew that they did it, they didn't draw attention otherwise other than yelling at themselves. They did tell me afterwards that they did it. It was one of those things where they wanted us to file insurance paperwork. I said, "Come on guys, you did the damage, you know you did the damage." I never did get around to following it, but we did wind up selling the house and they didn't make me fix the floor. We wanted to use them for our full move because they messed up the floor in the first move we went with another provider. It was one of those situations where they came in and I looked at the time that they presented me the paperwork and the time they wrote that they were there, there was a difference of 15 minutes there. They wound up charging me a little more. It was something like a half hour that we had to pay, probably another $100 or something. They worked hard, they made some dug marks into the flooring and didn't own up to it.

I don't think this move could've have gone any better! Patrick Steedle came out to our house the day after we first called, sized up the job and quoted us what we felt was a very fair price given the fact that it's a pretty awful 10 hr drive each way and would require the crew to stay at least one night in a hotel. We wanted to move the next week and he cheerfully accommodated that. A three man crew (Jim, Mark and Vijao) arrived right on time to load our stuff -- each one of them very personable, hard working and professional. We couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they got that end of the job completed, or how careful and accommodating they were. A 2-man crew (Jim and Dave) drove our things to NC the next morning, stayed overnight locally, and delivered to our new home first thing the next morning. It's a beach house on high stilts, three levels and a ton of steps ... seemed like It should be a tough job from the movers' point of view. So I expected that the workers might not be quite as cheerful at this end. But that wasn't the case; they were just as good-natured and professional as before, and got the job done incredibly quickly. Before they left Jim kept checking with us to make sure there wasn't anything else we'd like them to help us with. Not a single item was damaged or misplaced, and there were none of the minor wall dings and dents I expected ... no stress, no mess. They also happily honored my $100 Angie's List coupon. I never imagined this part of the move could go this easily, and I plan to highly recommend Steedle to anyone and everyone who needs moving services.

WOW! These guys were great! Moved entire contents of my house from one home to another in about 10 hours. Professional, friendly and courteous. Even brought in a humongous crane to move several large pieces of furniture through the window on the 3rd floor as they would not fit up the narrow staircases. Talk about customer service! Any other mover would have told me that I was out of luck and would have to buy smaller furniture. Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat!

The movers were on time, very professional and got the job done quickly and were careful to protect my furniture and the house as well. I was very pleased with the service.

Three professional men arrived on time. First thing was laying down runners in the traffic flow, then a walk thru was done so the men had an idea what was to be. An estimate of 4hrs for all this was done and completed in that time frame. Two items were found to be damaged and this was pointed out to us immediately prior to the move. It was approx. a 2.5 hr drive. Once arrived, the lead man was shown the entrance at the front door and then the garage. Again, runners was laid down and the men followed the instructions as to which room each of the items went. We were present for the beginning of the unloading but needed to leave. I understand the balance of the move was smoothly ran.

Crew showed up on time. They were very polite and did a good job. The only problem was that I was never told, nor is it in writing anywhere, that there is a 4 hour minimum on weekends. After we paid, we realized the move only took three hours. I gave them an "A" for professionalism because Patrick Steedle gave me a refund for the hour when I made him aware of it.

I would never use this company again! This was a temporary move with 10% of our items moving to an apartment and the rest to a very large storage unit. The intent was to use Steedle Moving again when we moved into our permanent home - this will not happen. I asked the movers to 'stage' our items separately (apartment versus storage) so that everything I needed in the apartment would be delivered properly. I was assured that everything would arrive to the correct location. I am now missing items that I need in my apartment because the move was NOT staged properly. The storage unit is so large I will need to empty it to actually find these items, which means I need to repurchase items that I already own. Also, when the moving truck arrived, the movers realized that the moving truck that the company sent would not be big enough. This required them to send an additional truck and additional movers. I told them at that time that I did not expect the absorb any additional costs as this was a mistake made by Steedle Moving and that a company rep visited my home and knew exactly what was being moved and where it was being moved. Finally, during my initial conversations with Steedle, I asked that someone from the company physically come to my home so that they could see everything that needed to be moved and provide an accurate quote / estimate. An owner came to my home and viewed all of its contents. An 'estimate' was provided and, within the terms, it was stated that the final price might be + / - 20% of the estimate. However, at the completion of our move, I received a final price that was 33% higher than the original estimate! I was charged $1000 more than the original quote. When I questioned the final price, I was told that 'estimating is not a science and the owner is normally very accurate.' When I questioned the 33% increase versus the +/- 20%, I received the same stock answer from the company. I find this to be very unprofessional. When a company makes an error in estimation, it should not be the customer that absorbs the mistake. I was more than willing to absorb the 20% additional cost, but not the full 33%, which amounted to another $400!

Amy was a please working with to everything up. The 3 man crew was on time, courteous, and personable. They finished the job in less time than estimated so the job also came in under the estimated cost. They even made an extra stop on the way to drop off some unwanted furniture. I highly recommend Steedle for moving.

Excellent job. Two trucks and 4 guys were needed. They were courteous, polite, and punctual. The cost was reasonable. It was one of the hottest days of the year (upper 90s) and the guys powered through it. I would highly recommend them.

Great. A 4 man crew worked for a solid 8 hrs moving our stuff. They worked hard and were careful to take care of everything. It would have taken me and 3 friends twice as long as those guys.

Exceptionally well--exceeded our high expectations. Steedle movers were prompt -- showed up on time and stayed until the job was done. Most of the crew who packed us out also did the delivery which really made things go well. Patrick (owner), Jose (driver & co-lead) and crew- Jim (senior loader), John, Scott & Harold worked tirelessly with enthusiasm and a positive can-do attitude throughout the move. They were always sensitive to our requirements and willing to accommodate even our smallest requests. The day of delivery was a grueling 12-hour marathon in excessive heat and humidity -- the crew never lost focus or good humor. Amy and Leah, the office crew, kept the communication link open throughout the process which helped to alleviate the stress associated with a retirement move. The final cost ($11,200 included $150K Full Value Protection Insurance with $500 deductible and packing boxes/materials) was precisely what was quoted in the estimate (of course, the cost of packing materials was only known once the truck was packed). We wholeheartedly recommend Steedle Moving and Storage without reservation !

Good service. Unlike other movers, when I called for appointment I actually reached a human and scheduled and appointment . Came out and and gave me an estimate. On the day of the move, the three person crew again arrived early, were pleasant, worked efficiently and neatly and ended up completing the job early, saving me some money.
