I think they were very professional and they stuck to the terms of our agreement. They were very efficient and did a thorough job. There was no damage to anything they moved.

This is a excellent moving company. I cannot tell you have helpful these guys were. A++++ service! And extremely reasonable.

This was a small move (approximately 4 miles and not many big pieces of furniture) that some of the larger companies don't handle. Steedle sent courteous and competent young men who were considerate of the elderly couple being moved. They handled their belongings well and took the time to place everything carefully in their new home.

This company is the most professional I have worked with. Patrick visit my apt to give me an estimate and was very helpful in my decision to store my belonging at his facility until my condo was ready for delivery. The movers arrived on time and were very efficient, polite and respectful. They delivered my bed to my condo while it was able to be placed in the loft area and then took my other belongings to storage. Patrick and I discussed a Sept 9th delivery. When I called to arrange the delivery, they could not accommodate my date. They charged me a daily rate for storage instead of a full month in Sept as is their usual policy, since they could not accommodate my original date. Working with Denise was so easy. She was so understanding when there was a possibility that I could not be there for the move in date set due to a unexpected cliché. All in all I was extremely happy with Steedle Moving and have already recommended them and will continue to do so.

We used Steedle Moving & Storage in October 2012 to move my 88+ year old mother-in-law from south New Jersey to the Atlanta, Georgia area (about 825 miles). Every part of the move was handled flawlessly by Steedle. The price quote was on target; their communications with us were excellent; everyone did what they said they would do when they said they would do it; in New Jersey, the crew arrived on time, worked quickly, handled all aspects of that day professionally, and packed and loaded everything in less time than anticipated. In Georgia, we were notified two days before the truck was scheduled to arrive; we were instructed as to the accepted methods of payment; the truck arrived exactly on schedule. Again, the crew worked quickly and efficiently to unload, unpack, and set up everything just like we wanted it. Patrick Steedle, especially, did an outstanding job throughout the entire process. I simply can not say enough good things about this outstanding company. I highly recommend them.

Wow, Steedle did a great job! I've moved about 15-16 times (about half with rental companies), and this was probably the best moving experience I've had to date. We were moving into our first home, from another home that was a rental property. We were a little worried about the move, because our last two moves with other companies didn't go so great. In fact, the people who had moved us into this final rental property took more than 7 hours, and it was a much shorter distance move. So, when Steedle said they estimated 7.5 hours, I wasn't sure if it was going to be possible. First of all, they were the first ones that actually came to my home before the move to provide a more accurate estimate. Then on moving day, they came on time, were personable and professional, and went right to work. And they were fast! 2 hours, and the truck was loaded. And they were very careful, no damage, everything packed well. The unloading took only a little bit longer, and in the end, the whole move was done in 5 hours! Much shorter than the estimate, and much faster than the previous movers. They put a carpet down at the house to protect the new carpeting, they managed to get some difficult furniture through some pretty tight spaces without complaint, and without a bit of damage to the house or furniture. And in the end, it came out more than $400 below the estimate since they were so fast. We finally purchased a home and so we don't plan on moving again for a very long time, but, I would certainly highly recommend Steedle to anyone else who is thinking of a move in the PA/NJ area.

I have alot of belongings that are fragile. I packed my own items so and marked boxes as "Glass" or "Fragile". During the move, one of the movers dropped one of the items containing glass. He told me not to worry because whatever was in there didn't break. Same person unloaded my dryer with a thud and piled three boxes on top of a box labeled "Glass". Because I anticipated that there might be accidents, I padded all my fragile items well. There were breakage of glass. I think that the particular person who did not do so well was new to moving items. All-in-all, I would recommend Steedle. One of the owners - Patrick came and gave me an estimate. They stayed within the estimate. If you have fragile items, you may opt in for the extra insurance just in case.

The guys were great, and very careful with all my belongings, they showed up on time and did a great job getting things done quickly.

I've had bad experiences with movers in the past and suprisingly, Steedle Moving lived up to all of the praise that is attributed to them on Angies List. Over a 2 day period, Steedle moved me from a 2BR apartment and 3 10x10 storage units about 10 miles away to my new home - all done, professionally, efficiently and without any damage or incident. Pat came out about a month in advance of the move to give the estimate conducting a very quick walkthrough of the apartment and storage locations. Candidly, I was a little concerned at how quickly this was done and feared what the actual costs may be .... Pat knows his business and his estimate was within $300-400 of the estimate. Specifically, his movers came in UNDER the estimate. The first day move was from the apartment located on the second floor of the building with only stair access and a 90+ degree day. The guys (3 man crew) were pleasant but very focused from beginning to end. Ended up getting all of our stuff moved from apartment to home within 4-5 hours including the lunch break and re-assembling various items. The second day move was from the storage facility from 3 10x10 units filled to the ceiling with my personal belongings. This was a 4 person crew that was again pleasant and highly focused (3 of the 4 also did the day 1 move) and we completed the move from storage facilit to home within 7-8 hours including the lunch break and re-assembly. Important to note that the storage units were very full and the movers were extremely careful taking stuff out to ensure no damage. I should point out for other Angies List subscribers that one differentiator of the Steedle guys and movers I've used in the past was customer focus and service. They (specifically Denise) entertained all of my prep calls and questions before "move day" very courteously and timely. Through out the 2 day move, the movers were highly attentive to whether they were doing a good job for us, whether we needed anything specifically moved around in the house AFTER they already put it in the "first" locations we told them to put things and asked if we wanted anything else assembled once everything was unloaded. All this and they were still at least 10% under budget. I would happily refer Steedle Moving to others and they definitely would be my first choice in the future.

When breaking up the home I shared with my sister in South Jersey, I called Steedle Moving and Storage for an estimate which was entirely in line with other carriers. Patrick and his team came to the house the day before the actual move and packed all the items that were going to storage and the following day brought them to North Jersey. When it came time to empty the storage unit and disperse the contents, I thought it was going to e a logistical and physically taxing nightmare but Denise calmly explained everything and maintained constant telephone and email contact while I pored over inventory sheets to decide what was to go where. Each item in storage had been given a number and was described on inventory sheets. I sent a list of numbers to Denise and on moving day, went down to West Deptford to open boxes, etc. and make sure everything was ready to move - it was. Some items were coming home with me, a second group was going to a family member in that area, a third group was to be held for pick up by a friend and the fourth group was marked for disposal. Everything went very smoothly and the moving truck was at my door at noontime and everything off-loaded within 45 minutes. I was, and am, delighted with Steedle movers, no question was considered silly, every request was greeted with "tell us what you need or want and we can do it for you" and they did. I highly recommend this company, they are careful, very professional, and made my horrendous project into a simple move. they are great !

The best move we've ever had. Being a military family for 30 years, we have moved many times. This was our first "civilian" move. Patrick was very helpful and professional. Denise was a joy to talk toon the phone coordinating things. The movers John, Jim and Mathew were extremely attentive and helpful. They packed us out from NJ and met us in Virginia to unpack. Everything was packed well and nothing broke (that's a first for us!). We had over 14,000 pounds and their bill was less than the other estimators interviewed. Would definitly recommend this company!

Steedle was able to accommodate me and gave me an estimate over the phone. They followed up with me on Monday to confirm their arrival time and arrived on schedule on Tuesday morning. The movers were courteous, professional, and careful with my furniture. They had originally estimated 2 1/2 hours and finished in 2 hours 15 minutes so the actual charges were slightly lower than the estimate. I have absolutely no complaints and would use Steedle again. Highly recommended.

Very, very good service. Unlike other movers, when I called for appointment, I actually reached a human and Denise scheduled it. Patrick arrived as promised -- actually, early -- offered the date we wanted, and quoted a good price for the move. On the day, the three-person crew again arrived early, were pleasant, worked efficiently and neatly, collected things from a second stop at a storage unit, and ended up completing the job early, saving me some money. Can't ask for anything more.

Excellent experience with Steedle Moving, from the initial phone call, Patrick's visit to assess the move, to the actual move-the team was very personable, highly experienced and very efficient. We moved out of our house of 23 years to a town just five miles away, but had a great deal of large, delicate furniture; including white sofas and chairs and a fragile china cabinet. Not one item was damaged! The final price was even less than the $940 estimate! I am moving my office in March and Steedle will be my first call!

Everything went very smoothly from our first contact with Patrick Steedle just two weeks before our move all the way through the delivery. The same crew did the packing, the moving out, and the moving in. So we got to know them quite well. They were extra careful with the antiques and our grand piano. We still have a couple boxes to unpack, but there has been no damage to anything. Not having to put our stuff in storage was a big benefit.

We had a great experience with Steedle Movers! The representative was prompt and professional during the initial consultation in our home. They arrived on move day exactly at the time they said they would. The 3 movers were very organized, worked very hard all day. they were courteous and professional from start to finish. They completed the move in 1 hour under the estimated time, which was fantastic. They took care with our things and did not break anything. They even took care to protect the hard wood floors in our new home, laying down blankets in areas of high traffic. I felt that this was money well-spent and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We had a Saturday move. The three-man crew arrived on time. While we were only moving from a one-bedroom apartment, it was a difficult move with our apartment on the third floor and navigating down staircases with many turns. Our two plasma televisions were carefully wrapped and loaded onto the truck as were our large wall hangings and mirrors. In addition, we had a king bed, an elliptical machine, a really heavy TV stand, two large media storage units, two dressers packed with clothes, bookcases and a ton of boxes. Though they did not have to, they even moved items and carried them to the nearby dumpster for us. When we arrived at the house, the crew first laid down cloth in the front entry so dirt would not be tracked into the house and then set to work getting all of our possessions to the correct rooms. Before they left, they made sure all furniture was exactly where we wanted. They happily relocated the elliptical machine when I did like its first location. NOTHING was scratched, broken, dented or otherwise damaged. When it came time to settle the bill, there were no surprise charges or hidden fees. I would absolutely recommend Steedle to friends and colleagues and would not hesitate to contact them if we ever need to move again. I only wish closing on our house went as smoothly as our move!

First, I called Steedle to get prices and schedule the move. The office staff was courteous, efficient and instilled confidence in the company. They sent the contracts attached to an email right away and I faxed them back no deposit required. I hired a truck and 3 men for 2 hours. They arrived on time. They worked at a fast pace yet were careful not to scrape any walls or door jams. They were courteous and asked if there was anything else we needed help with. No piece was too heavy or too difficult to maneuver for these guys. They quickly and expertly secured all pieces in the truck and drove to my new house a mile and a half away. They unloaded the truck and placed the pieces with the same care and speed as during the loading. They placed the pieces exactly where I wanted them and only needed directions one time. They were very focused on doing a good job. They finished the job within an hour and a half and then asked again was there anything else I needed hep with. This time I said yes. I had some items in the garage of my new house that needed to be taken in to the basement. They were happy to do it and they still finished within the 2 hour contracted period!!! These guys were awesome and I do not have one negative thing to say about the entire experience. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone needing a mover.

Matt Jim and John were careful quick quiet and polite. They asked if there was anything else we needed. They made good suggestions about furniture placement, and moved things to other rooms when we asked them to.
