Response from Rettinger Fireplace Systems Inc
We are very perplexed by this review since there are no real comments associated with the review. Our records indicate that we received a phone call on July 28, 2014 stating that the homeowner was selling his home and needed to have the fireplace running and in working order. He stated that the unit had not been used in over 10 years and he could not identify the manufacturer or model of the fireplace. On July 31, 2014 we cleaned and serviced the fireplace and got it up and running and were paid in cash the agreed upon service call charge. We were never notified if any issues occurred after our service call or that there was any dissatisfaction with Rettinger Fireplace Systems. When we received notice of the review on Angie's List stating service was completed on October 13, 2014 we looked at all of our service calls from last week and could not find a service listed under the name given in the review. On further review we found the service call from July as stated above as the only sales order in our system for this customer. I just placed a phone call in to the number we have on record for this customer and identified that we were calling from Rettinger Fireplace Systems in regard to a service call we had completed in July 2014, stated the customer's name and address and the gentleman on the other end of the line stated that we had the wrong number. If we were notified of any problem with this service call it would have been promptly addressed by our company, as we strive for complete customer satisfaction with every installation or service call we perform. There is no job that goes unfinished with Rettinger Fireplace Systems and every issue brought to our attention is addressed.
