Overall I was satisfied with the job but I took off half a star as there was a discrepancy with the cameras in the beginning. But the install was excellent and like I said, overall I was pleased and would recommend them.

They are all about sales. Beware you are tied to a 3-year contract. No flexibility on that. I signed up not thinking such a big deal but after a few months I realized I do not need all the services and now I am stuck. And it is pricey! If I had to do over again I would go with a nest or simply safe or a company that you can cancel. It is literally the same thing as the home (store bought) securities. When I asked to get out it was- sorry- you signed. You have to buy out a contract. I am new to home-owning, so I was prepared to understand these are salespeople, not security. Really disappointed. Not only in them but in myself!!

They answer their cell phones at all times day, night and weekend, they always have an answer or solution. They are down to Earth, honest and are more than willing to work with you programming your system to make it exactly what you want/need.

I hired Beacon and they installed two cameras, motion detectors, window and door alarms throughout my house and the ring.com doorbell I purchased. Great company. I had a lot of junk in one room and they were unable to get to the window at that time, but they promised they would come back when I was ready. I called and They kept their word and didn’t charge me extra either. I was very satisfied with the customer service, sales rep and installation.

The salesman told me that since I was securing 3 homes that when my deceased husbands home was sold that "I would no longer be billed for this property whether the new owners took it over or not". Because the house is in a flood zone I advised Ralph Pizzuti that the house was either have to be raised or a total tear down. Now I can't get the billing stopped and will most likely just close my bank account out of total frustration with this company.

The technician was very nice. However, I wasn't happy with the pricing. They kept on tacking on service fees on top of service fees. I have a 86 year old grandmother who needed some cameras installed and she was willing pay the $200 but it seems like they were just tacking on additional charges. They stated that in order for us to send another guy out there we have to tack an additional charge.

Lu from Beacon was very knowledgeable and helped us to select the best security system for our needs. He did not try to up sell us. The installation was quick within 3 days. Very happy with our new alarm system. Good value for our money. I highly recommend Beacon Protection.
