Ashley Furniture Homestore

Do not order furniture for home delivery from this place if you do not want to be robbed. If I could rate less than one star, I would. This store uses delivery people hired by a service that was hired by them. In other words, this store and their warehouse are twice removed from the people making their deliveries. There is no accountability for these delivery people, and Ashley Furniture is sending them into people's private residences. My parents had a brand new bed delivered, and my mother was not five feet away from the delivery people at all times. However, after they left, my mother discovered that her 32-year-old diamond engagement ring and a diamond necklace were missing from her dresser. Some of her jewelry was also scattered on the floor. My mother and father both spoke with store employees at this Ashley location, and they did not seem very willing to help their customers who were in distress and had been robbed because of someone their company sent into our home. Several calls and a conversation with a manager later, after having to tell employees that he needed information to give to the police before he would even be shown the courtesy of being transferred to a manager, my father was able to get the contact information of the delivery company employed by Ashley. At first, the manager could not even recall the name of this delivery company. When the manager finally was able to give my father the information he needed, he contacted the delivery company only to be told that they had a contract with yet another delivery company. Then he was put in contact with them, and the only information they could give him was that they "interviewed" the thieving delivery men and they said they "didn't take anything." So, as I said: if you don't want to be robbed, don't order furniture here. Or at least don't have them deliver it to your home.
