Gave estimate next day after contact and started job 2 days later. Pricing per sq.ft was the going rate. Job was done as expected but completed 2 days later than committed.

Richard was very professional. Showed up on time. Was always in communication. The quality was excellent given the hardwood was in need of some TLC. For the sanding, Richard and his crew, closed off the area with plastic to minimize any dust getting all over the house. While I wouldn't consider this a big job, I would definitely give Phoenix Flooring the next job. You can tell he cares about what he does and that the customer is satisfied.

We just had an excellent experience with Richard, the owner of Phoenix flooring. We set an appointment with Richard on our closing day and he arrived on time. "Experienced and trustworthy" was the first impression my husband and I had towards him. We told him to start the next day right after he explained how he works and provided us the estimate on site. Richard and his assistant Benito did a wonderful job especially in such hot weather. To help us pick stain color he actually put several colors on the freshly sanded floor. As he said even the same stain would look differently on different wood floor. He also made suggestion about what stain is better to bring out the accent of our floor. We're very much pleased about their work and decided not to use our 10% coupon from Angie's list. They deserved the full price. Richard has a pleasant personality and is helpful. He knows all kinds of resources around town. We highly recommend him to all.

As soon as I got the keys to my new house and removed the flooring, I was in horror of what was underneath. By way of a friend's recommendation, Rich came in, walked me through the process and gave me an estimate -- he was nothing but professional and friendly. Once Rich and his crew completed the job, I thought I was in a different house! The quality of work in refinishing the wood and matching the patchwork to the original flooring was nothing that I have seen before. Family and friends that come over the house want to know who did the work on the first floor. Rich and his team are highly recommended.

Richard was prompt on the time it would take to complete the job. He was very good at communicating what he had done and he even informed me of some termite damage to some boards that he replaced. I was totally satisfied with Richard's professionalism and the final complete job.
