My Homeowners Association had to unfortunately cancel our contracts with Homes First after several deviations from our scope of work. We are now having to pay for an additional round of mold remediation with a new contractor as well as pay to clean all of the soft goods in our home due to the poor effort in containing the affected areas. Communicating with Joe was spotty -- with his cell phone dead or left at another person's house. One night I found that one of the plastic sheets meant to contain the mold was sucked into one of the fans and it was hot as if it was overheating. I guess I'm lucky my condo didn't burn down. I would not recommend Homes First to anyone who needs mold remediation and am actively trying to recoup a small portion of funds we lost -- which is not going well.
