Century Moving did a great job moving some furniture for me. They were careful, relatively quick, and very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend them.

My family and I needed to personally move from Fair Lawn to Wyckoff NJ a 5-bedroom home with full packing needs. I had used Century a few years back for a local move they were originally referred to me from my brother who uses on regular bases to move their company's offices. They were great with our first move so I decided to give them a shot to partial move us to Florida. I was happy to see the same team who took car of us last time, David (sales rep), as well Jimmy on the day of the actual move & their helpers.Our belongings got to Boyton Beach safe & sound on a truck-n- trailer, the driver (thank you Austin) at delivery was very curious(unfortunately was not able to enter our complex, had to eventually deliver with a smaller box truck) , his helpers went over and beyond expectations by putting all of our furniture back together and placing each and every piece in the right room. I do have to say the move was not cheap yet we'll worth their service.Century we thank you once more for your professionalism, hospitality and care. We will always recommend you as well as continue to use your services.

This company exceeded my expectations. Not only everything was immaculately packed and wrapped also at my new location they put the furniture back together and placed exactly where I want it to be. The crew was on time and very pleasant to work with. Compare to other companies what is also different is that the whole move was stress free and that is priceless to me.

Wow! Everything went smoothly form Brooklyn NY to New Jersey Roselle . They were professional and courteous and worked fast. We were so thankful for their hard work. We recently moved and very happy to select Century Moving company to assist us with the move.Zeek,the owner was great with helping us with advice ,boxes and packing material,The team came on time was very professional,helpful and wonderful to work with.They move fast and put everything in place in the new place.It was a seamless move.I will definitely recommend Century moving to everyone .

Dependable and reliable

Let me start by saying .... I HATE MOVING. Now that we got that out the way, let me tell you about my Century moving services experience. It started with a request for a quote from multiple moving companies of which I recieved wildly different numbers from different companies. When I reached out to Century, the sales rep David wouldn't provide me a quote without coming to see my home, how many rooms it had, how much furniture, and the layout. This let me know the quote I would recieve from century would be the real deal. The communication leading up to the move date was great and Joe from dispatch told me exactly what to expect. Now things got a little tricky on the move date because an unexpected snow storm was forcasted. The team of century movers arrived early and quickly got to work. They were carefull with our furniture and wrapped some of the pieces twice. Once we arrived at the new house it in fact started snowing heavily. I was concerned they would mark up my brand new hardwood floors on my new construction home. I voiced my concern to the foreman Miguel and they laided paper sheets down on my floors which fully protected them. When the paper sheets would get wet and start to tear, they would lay down new paper. Once the job was complete, they picked up all the paper, all the wrapping and left no garbage behind. I am not the type of person to leave reviews however, I had to do the right thing for century, they took care of me start to finish.

Century moving was the only company I could find 2 days prior to my move. Booking manger tim spoke very clear English and he knew exactly what I was saying. I had a Jersey to Jersey move about 10 miles. They came to pick up my stuff around 8am and packed all my stuff in boxes and finished the delivery same day around 11pm. They had many little guys moving my things and they were able lift my huge furniture. It was very surprising to see how they managed to carry my stuff without breaking them. I guess itâ s a combination of lucky and experience. There was a master manager with the crew and he made sure everything was on his inventory list and things was warped w blanket and bubble. Manager name on my job was Jimmy. One guy rubbed the Matress on the stairway down and make a little scuffle on the wall but thatâ s happen. Manager called the office and they did the right thing and gave me a discount on the packing material after this incident. After all said and done this job cost me more money than my initial estimate but I had a lot of extra work and stuff for them to carry. I donâ t want to hurt my back carrying heavy stuff these guys do it every day. I rather spend some money and not break my back. I will definitely use them again. Tim promised me a discounted rate for my next move. Thank you century people for the help and may god bless you guys!!!

I would highly recommend Century Moving! I was referred to them by my Real Estate Agent and it was a blessing. I called and spoke to Wendy in the office who was very helpful and kind. I was connected the sales manager Tim Powell who handled my move scheduling soup to nuts. My difficult move was handled with white gloves by the foreman Jimmy with his helpers Daniel, Jose, and Isidro.I was extremely satisfied with the whole team. Do Not Recommend at all. Initial estimate was not where near what they inevitably charged me. It ended up being double what we agreed. Company said they could deliver by a certain date we agreed on verbally, but did not honor that date and came 16 days late. Took almost a month. My things were upside down and not handled carefully. Stuff was broken into and missing. With all that has happened I have spent $10,000. Company wasn't eager to help resolve any issues or compensate me.

Honestly, this company is amazing !!! Hands down the best I have ever dealt with. I have moved 8 times in the last 15 years and this company has made this move the easiest move I've had. This company is a nightmare! We were overcharged $1000 on a May 18th pick up that was supposed to be on the 16th. They have our belongings in their warehouse in New Jersey, it is now June 15th and they refuse to give me an ETA. I was originally told that it would be a 5-6 day delivery from NY to Florida. It is been nearly a month. Never use this company! I may have to report my belongings as stolen!

The only difficulty is estimating the volume for a lay person and at the last minute turns out more and u are stuck. So be very precise in your estimation. At the beginning.

Moving is the worst for many reasons, but their service made a challenging experience much more manageable throughout the process. One year ago, we bought all new costly furniture, and we were concerned about the move. Century Moving Services were highly responsive and had a team of qualified personal handling our things with extraordinary care. The move itself was nothing but flawless, with a large clean truck alongside an eight person crew that came bright and early filled with energy and motivation everyone wearing a mask and keeping social distancing. Luciano, their supervisor, was very, very knowledgeable. He arrived first in the house, and we went over everything with him once, and he got it. We are in a temporary location as we are building a home, and we will move again in a few months. I am not looking forward to the move but knowing that I will be using Century Moving Services again defiantly makes me sleep better at night. We highly recommend them.

Horrible experience! I hired them to move me from NJ to FL. It was a bait and switch. Thy contracted 2 freight companies who each delivered some of my furniture at least a month apart and just dropped it off, no setup as promised. Everything came in damaged or is still missing. The cost of what I was quoted was double but had to pay since they had my furniture. Be wary, go with a reputable well known company for the same price they charge.

This company charged twice the amount originally quoted citing extra hours and amount of furniture. They left pieces of furniture in a living room not even trying to put them in the bedrooms in which they belonged one floor up because of the shape of the stairs. They broke pieces of furniture. Foreman was rude and was only interested in how his company would be paid. I will not be recommending this company and extremely disappointed with the whole experience.
