Can't speak for the company as a whole, but the plumber sent to us was less than stellar. When done, informed me he "lost" the instruction manual to the new pump (found it right next to where he was working). When I asked about maintenance of the battery backup (adding water periodically) he said this type of battery wouldnt require that. A quick peek at the instructions said otherwise. Informed him that the lid had been sealed with silicone due to our radon issues, i discovered after the fact that rather than resealing, he stuffed back the old silicone he had cut out. And to top it off, I found the heavy power cord resting on top of the Float, which would prevent it from rising and triggering the pump to come on. Overall the quality of work was very poor. Customer service on the phone was good and courteous, and response was quick. Felt it was quite overpriced, though I was not in a position to get other opinions and ultimately agreed to the job. Again, i can't speak for the other plumbers or the company as a whole, but i feel i got a dud.

They responded quickly. installation was quick and well done. Very nice service person. One minor issue, temperate setting was exceptionally high. Real issue was the cost. I believe we were charged excessively.

The technician came on time and did a very good job. Very knowledgeable and polite. The downside is the invoice. Very very very very very expensive. I'm aware that good service comes with a price but with the money I had to pay I could've bought a new burner instead of fixing the current somehow old one.

We weren't getting any DHW from our oil burner. Our usual service provider wanted to replace the heating coil or the entire system. We decided to shop around. Tom Brady called and came out to look the same day. The next day they came out, cleaned the coil and now we have hot water with great pressure at a fraction of what others wanted to charge us. Very friendly, prompt, professional and reasonably priced service. Would recommend and use again. Thank you Benjamin Franklin Plumbing!

The positive: The person who came over was courteous and polite. the problem I had with my furnace was the pressure tubes was clogged. He pulled out the tubes and blew in to unclog all of tubes. He cleaned out the hoses by running water through it. The entire process took less than 1 hour. After that he hit you with a bill of $271. New parts were not installed. This was just standard maintenance. Price was definitely on the high end. I would have no problems re-used them for service again, but with this price, I probably will not contact them again.

I had a pipe burst in the basement, I received a call from BFP and they were the only one willing to come out ASAP. He looked over what needed to be done and told me that other pipes needed to be serviced and he changed everything perfectly. Thank you for coming out so quickly and doing the repairs!

camera location not required. It was a broken sewage pump. They snaked the outside lines after noticing the effluent tank was full and thought it my blocked from the tank to the leach field.. The system had been pumped two weeks prior. After snaking the outside pipes and working the snake into the house from the outside with no results, they started investigating. They noticed the sewage pump alarm was silenced but the red ligth was on. They did test the electrical to make sure it was the sewage pump and it was. This required the pumping out of the effluent tank and installing a new pump. They contacted the home office who recommend Delaware Valley septic. Delaware arrived in less than 40 minutes and remained until workers from Benajmin Franklin returned from another call. This was necessary because the effluent kept refilling. The sewage pump was removed and the home office located a replacement at Ferguson plumbing in Phillipsburg. They stayed open late so the pump could be picked up. They returned and installed and tested the pump to make sure it was working properly. They were at the house until 7:30. Marty and Steve were great and had a great sense of humor for a smelly job. We will be using them to investigate a leak in the basement and to replace our well pump in the near future. I will also be using Delaware Valley Septic. My regular provider would not come out until the next day, knowing the current situation.

The price to replace a 75 gal water heater was outrageous. The price started at $1800 plus $189 for a Sunday call out. He then raised the price by $500 because he claimed a gas heater cost more than an electric. With another miscellaneous $40 charge plus sales tax the total came to $2503 plus the Sunday charge of $189 for a total of almost $2700.

so far so good. Very prompt service even on a Sat. Paul was very friendly and competent. Expensive compared to the same service done 6 years ago. Inflation is here!
