Description of Work: Was quoted $800- 900 for a panel replacement . Showed up did other minor work and charged $450.00. Said he would come back to change the panel. At the original 800- 900 . He changed 4 outlets and charged me for 5 that he said he would do later when I changed the panel for the original quoted price. Left no covers for the outlets in the bathroom and still have one that he didn't replace. That was months ago. |

Description of Work: A "laundry list" of outstanding electrical issues throughout our home, including running cable for internet, replacing sensors, repairing/replacing fixtures, labeling electrical panels, installing illuminated switches, replacing outside GFF, etc. The Tosone team was well managed, punctual, efficient, professional, and courteous. A pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this company.

 + 0 moreWe have many times change a bulb in the hallway of the appartment and kept burned it out alomost every month, we could not understand why this occurr so often. The Electrician from Tosone Electric disconect the fixture and explained that the fixture was set up incorrectly \, they explain that everytime that the light will get hot it would burned out the bulb and trigger possibly the breaker. Electricians seem to be knowleable of their trade, will see in time.
Description of Work: They check the oulets and breaker panel, change refrigerator connection,also arrange and correct a fixture in the hallway that was faulty.

 + -1 moreThe two guys that arrived were efficient and courteous. Aside from a little communication problem when scheduling the appointment through Angie's List, everything went very well. I would have wanted the job done sooner, but my message wasn't received until I followed up. They arrived as scheduled, did what I required, and looked at an outlet that was not working due to faulty wiring. Since this was not important, I didn't really need it fixed.
Description of Work: Replaced non-working wall oven with a newer one. Also fixed a two-way wall switch that was working only in one direction.

Description of Work: Fan/light fixture installed - when they opened the ceiling they informed me that it hadn't been done up to code & a pancake box had to be installed. My kitchen spotlight in the ceiling wasn't working - they couldn't find a "silver" rimmed pot so they brought a white rimmed fixture (which I like better than the old one). The side door bell wasn't ringing - he looked at the bell on the wall & showed me that it was broken - he had to replace it, but unfortunately found out that the outside bell was on it's way out. He did some magic & got it to work. I was very impressed with their professionalism & skills - I would recommend them highly. Also, they were determined to pick up all debris & clean up & discard what they could when they left.

 + 0 moreTom had quoted us for this project a while back but we had been slow to buy the generator. Until a freak snowstorm in October 2011 knocked out our power. We finally had a generator by the end of December and following some delays in getting the actual switch for this job, Tosone did the install in one day, tested out the load and we are now able to safely run our house nearly as normal with our portable generator (does not include large draw items like central air but does include sump pump, heat fan, lights, phone, alarm, fridge, freezer)! We recently passed inspection and all is well! We have used Tosone many times since we purchased our home 5 years ago and will continue to do so in the future.
Description of Work: Installed transfer safety switch and exterior outlet for portable generator.

The house electric was powered down but they provided a power source for me to use during the switch. They worked quickly, were very clean and the project has already passed inspection. I am very happy with Tosone, I have used them before and would recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.
