Have been calling this company since 4 days.. Operator picks up the phone, takes your information and asks you to wait for a call back from Nick. You never receive a call from Nick. Most annoying part is you have to keep give your complete contact information each time you call. Complete waste of time and unprofessional. Have read reviews about the great work they do. What good is it, if you even cant get a phone consultation in 4 days???

I have tried repeatedly to get this company to do some electrical work at my house. Finally, I was able to get an appointment to do some simple work that would not take long. I was pleased with the price quoted as well. I was given a window of 2-4pm on a Thursday but I was stood up. No one showed up and no one from the company called me to reschedule after I was stiffed on the appointment. After reading the stellar reviews of this company and seeing pictures of excellent work I was excited to try them out but was left very disappointed. I actually had many other items that I wanted to get quotes on but I will take my business and money elsewhere.

Arrived on time, box looks great, and was approved by town, was extremely responsive. A little costly but they did the job well.

This is the guy! Prompt, professional top rate service. Nick, gave us an estimate on Monday but Wednesday he was installing our recess led lights. I did received two estimates from two contractors and it was a horse and pony show. When we met Nick, he was straight to the point, no hustle knew exactly what we wanted to do. This is the first time I had a true seamless contract experience. We are very happy with our lights and will be calling Nick back to install two more. Our daughter loved the lights, that she asked to have them installed in her room as well. This guy is the guy-business made easy the way it should be!

Nick at Greenway Electric was extremely professional and worked quickly to install the high hats as part of an Angie's List Big Deal offer. Nick called me multiple times (much appreciated) to touch base and schedule an appointment to come look at the area where the lights would be installed. We set a date and time that worked for me. On the morning of the designated day, he called to say that there were some cancellations and asked if it would be okay to do installation the same day. I was more than happy to agree to do the installation the same day. Nick arrived on time and we quickly agreed on the location and spacing of the high hats, and the location of the switch. Nick brought heavy drop cloths and worked very quickly to install the lights. He cleaned everything satisfactorily and even vaccummed the carpet area to be sure that any dust under the drop cloth was removed. Nick started around 10:30am and was done by 3pm. In all, I was completely satisfied with the job, will definitely use Greenway Electric again, and recommend them highly to my neighbors and Bergen county friends. I only wish they did work in NYC to work on my UWS apartment.

We would definitely use Greenway again for any electrical projects. They provided a reasonably-priced estimate and installed everything very professionally within the schedule they promised. It is definitely a well-run company and we will be happy to use them in the future.

It went very well. They arrived when they said they would, and completed the work in an appropriate amount of time. The only small issue was that they could have done a better job cleaning up the mess they created rather than leaving it for me. Small nuisance for me but a nuisance nonetheless.

We live in a house that is 100+ years old. Several of the outlets stopped working in my son's bedroom and Nick (there are 2 Nicks at Greenway) worked hard to try to figure out where the problem originated. I was very satisfied with the job he did to get the outlets to work again. A couple of days later we discovered that the lights in a nearby walk-in closet were no longer functional. The same Nick came back and could not figure out what was causing the problem. The owner, Nick, came over and together they came up with a plan to run a separate line on the outside of our house to that walk-in closet. Nick, the owner, is very knowledgeable and we plan to use him again for future work.

I contacted Nick of Greenway at 6:00 PM on a Friday night of a holiday weekend via his answering service. I explained to him that we wrere in a jam and urgently needed the swimming pool bonded and a new switch and GFCI breaker to conform to code. We had a buyer for our home and the closing was expected to take place in week's time or less. This new code requirement (2008) caught us by surprise. Nick was at our home in 20 minutes after the phone call to access the situation and provide an estimate. As promised, he and his crew were on the job before 8:00 AM on Monday...Columbus Day! The work was completed by noon. We had the electrical inspection that next day and all went well. Greenway saved the day. Nick and his guys were courteous, professional and incredibly responsive. The pricing was very reasonable, especially when you factor in the rapid response and holiday work.

I called them on the morning of the service as I had a scheduling error with the company I planned to use. They were able to come a few hours later as promised. I explained what I thought I wanted and they were good about explaining to me some better ways (and cheaper) to do the same thing. The house is lathe and plaster (as opposed to sheet rock) so some of the holes in the wall were fairly large (as the plaster crumbled and the lathe broke), but they did a great job plastering over the holes (it will be easy to finish sanding them and painting over so you wouldn't know about the work). The recommendations they made were excellent and I have not had any of the problems I had feared (I wanted more lines to cover a large number of computers, but they recommended fewer would be sufficient, even after telling him the number which is 5 computers, a laser and one inkjet printer). So they saved me money and gave me exactly what I needed. The CAT5E line is awesome as it lets me span two ends of the house with a gigabit network connection for video streaming, and I was very happy with the service. They cleaned up everything afterwards and everything was neatly contained in the walls. I had been expecting that lines would need to be run along the walls, either inside or outside, but they did everything inside the walls as you would want. Great service, and I would definitely hire them again (and plan to).

From the estimation process to the completion of the work, Nick at Greenway electric was very professional. On the day of the estimate, he arrive right on time, and the estimate was in my email box by the end of the day. We were able to quickly schedule the work. Nick and his partner showed up early as promised on the day of the job. He walked me through what he was going to do, and he and his partner were done with the job in about 5 hours. The quality of the work was top notch.

We got rid of our Knob and tube wiring and the whole house need it to be rewired. They finished the project when they said they would and they gave me a brand new service upgrade. We used to use KB Electric as our electrician and the owner Keith was constantly at the house asking for money, i am ok of paying a contractor but he got the deposit to start the job and the next day asked for another check, with any progress he had the guts to ask again for the third time i got so frustrated and threw him out of the job. The also damaged my floor and refuse to pay for it. We don't have to look for another electrician again, I am so glad that we found Greenway Electric. Definitely I would recommend them.
