We purchased the service deal through Angies List. The service was difficult to schedule and took several phone calls to get service scheduled. The service was performed, however the maids broke several items and didnt say anything.

I needed a deep cleaning of my house and looked on Angie's List for services. I called Hortensia and was scheduled for a house cleaning the next day. Two people came and worked as a team. They were professional and worked well together. They cleaned the windows and dusted baseboards and eliminate cobwebs from the corners and dust from fans. Cabinets were polished and floors were mopped. The bathrooms were cleaned to a spotless shine. The house hasn't been this clean in many years. I would highly recommend Hortensia Cleaning Service!

We had them come and do a major deep cleaning of our house. When they found that they couldn't finish with the 2 people that originally came, they brought in a backup crew to help! There are parts of my house that are cleaner than they've been since we moved in 20 years ago. Highly Recommended.

almost The whole experience was great. They were easy to get in touch with to make the appointment. Then they had to reschedule which was fine. They arrived only a few minutes late,. They actually spent more time than they said they would which was fine.

I called Hortensia on a Monday, on the next day she sent two workers (Sandra and Claudia) for what I thought was an estimate but they were ready to work. They cleaned and did laundry for a 30 dollar up charge. They did a pretty good job, but they didn't allow for enough time to finish the laundry in its entirety. So I ended up finishing it myself. They didn't finish the laundry partly because they were running significantly late. On the second visit, again lateness was an issue but this time they sent three workers to compensate for the time. Nelson (part owner) came on this visit and was very attentive and even helped me change light bulbs in the kitchen. Overall, was a pretty good experience and the only thing I wish is if they sent the same people every time so that you didn't have to explain what needed to be done every single time.

Overall, the job was well done. Hortensia and her cleaners were courteous and efficient. The came back two weeks later to clean on a scheduled basis. I am still happy.

It went great. I had my previous cleaning service for 7years and was very sad to see them go. Hortensia's service has been great. They picked up right where the others left off. My house is clean, fresh, and tidy when they leave. They are reasonable in their prices and do a good job. I would definitely recommend them to friends & neighbors.

They made an appointment to clean and they never called or showed up. They were supposed to come at 9:00 am. I was left to clean the house myself for my company. It took up my day. Not worthy of trust, no phone call to state they couldn't make it. I had to rearrange my entire day around after they failed to honor their commitment to come and clean. I order 4 hours of service with 2 people. Oh and they stated what date and time, I was flexible with them, no reason for them not to show up. I order this service outside of Angie's list as, per their request, when I called them because they told me they would give me 4 hours of cleaning as long as I paid cash or check and DON'T purchase the special via Angies' list because they would give me an extra hour of service. This company responded to my first F review and there response is false they made up their own story to make them look good. They don't know their facts, I didn't have two phone numbers for them. I will gladly show my phone records to validate. They called me back to set up the appointment. Don't make false statements that you can't prove, what happened to the customer is always right. If you know who I am then why haven't you called to resolve this matter in a professional manner and apologize for your unprofessional behavior. Be careful with you response you don't know who else was listening in on the phone calls.

They were fabulous. Curteous, professional and very, very thorough... I didn't ask for windows or fans but all of the windows and fans in the house were spotless. I have never seen our bathroom that clean before. I have never been happier with a cleaning service before.

It went well. Two people came in and introduced themselves, explained what needed to be cleaned and than immediately started to clean.

They did an excellent job overall. House was very clean when they left. They followed our instructions, particularly around deep cleaning of bathrooms.

I called on Monday, 2/11/13 to make an appt to have Hortensia come to my house to give me any estimate. She gave me an appt for Saturday, 2/16 at 11:00. I said I would call the next day to confirm. When I called the next day to confirm she said she would not be able to make it on Saturday because she is the only one that does the estimates and that she was very busy. We made an appt for Sunday at 2:00. Well, 2:00 came, then 3:00 and still no Hotensia on Sunday. About 3:15 I called her cell phone to to see if she was coming or not. No answer. I left a message for her to call me to let me know if she was still coming. I never got a return phone call on Sunday or Monday. I will not use this service. If they do not have the decency to return a phone call or show up for an appt when they are suppose to, obviously this service is not reliable. This was a waste of my time. After reading other reviews I thought I would give them a try. No way will I ever use them. Very unprofessional!!!

Nelson and Irma were both very nice. Nelson was reassuring and pleasant. They changed my apartment from chaotic h*** to orderly heaven! They were willing to both clean and organize. I had not asked them to clean the inside of the cabinets and was very pleasantly surprised when I saw how clean and organized they were! Excellent work!

It was easy to get an appointment and the day of the cleaning - I got a call about 20 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive to say they were on their way. As noted before, absolutely, hands down, the VERY best cleaning I have ever had. Almost 2 weeks later and my house still smells clean. I signed up to have them come every other week - they were that thorough and that good. They cleaned everything - I mean everything! Kitchen cabinets, hanging lights, floors, windows - even my front door! Three straight hours of scrubbing down my house! I was so impressed - having had (disappointing) cleaning services in the past - I have to tell you this was a dream come true and at a VERY fair price. I only hope the quality remains for the regular clean ups. I had two very professional and meticulous people do my cleaning - Nelson and Sandra. AMAZING QUALITY! Hope I get them each and every time. If you are looking for quality house cleaning in Morris County - go no further!

After a party we had quite a dirty carpet in my finished basement - spilled drinks, muddy shoes, ground-in food, etc. Hortensia provided a power/steam washing for carpet and I gave her my business as she does an excellent job on my housecleaning. Her crew came and spent more than 3 to4 hours thoroughly cleaning my carpet - they moved all the furniture into an area that didn't have carpeting so theycould get under all the furniture. They scrubbed the dirty spots by hand as well as the steps which were especially filthy. The outcome was a brand new carpet! I was extremely pleased with how the carpet came out. It was clean, all spots were removed, it smelled nice and the overall job was absolutely perfect!

I purchased a Angie's List Coupon for 3 hrs. of cleaning by 2 persons… that is exactly what I received. The women arrived ready to work with their own supplies. They asked what needed to be completed and then proceeded to work non-stop until everything was done. They were professional, very personable, and extremely hard working. I was so very pleased with the service and the manner in which it was completed. There was a travel expense due to my location in Sussex County. Please check the terms and conditions to see if there will be additional charges for travel.

When the team of 2 arrived they were ready to work. They asked me to show them the areas in the house that needed cleaning. One started in the bathroom, the other started with baseboard dusting. They washed all of the interior windows, cleaned the legs and dusted all the furniture and dusted the lighting fixtures. Nelson even assisted me with determining if I heard water leaking from the tub. The kitchen was cleaned and even the couple of dishes in the sink were washed. The floors were washed and hardwoods vacuumed and damp mopped. The carpets were sprinkled with a freshener and the entire home was spring fresh. They also offer a garage clean out which I will consider doing in the spring. I would definitely hire them again.

We had just moved into our new home and wanted to have it deep cleaned prior to putting all of our things away. I saw the buy now deal on Angie's List and decided to give it a try, I am SO glad that I did. Hortensia and her coworker were great. They arrived a bit late but called to say they were running behind and gave us 3 hrs instead of the 2 that ere included in the Angie's List deal! We asked that they focus their time on the 2 and 1/2 baths and the kitchen. They brought all of their own cleaning supplies and went right to work. They were amazingly thorough and not at all intrusive. At one point I went to make sure that they didn't need anything and the outer base of the island in the kitchen was beings scrubbed (I never would have even thought of it!). I have already reached out to get pricing to have Hortensia and her team come to clean the house regularly. They did an amazing job and were great to work with.

The two ladies that came from Hortensia Cleaning Services did an exceptional job. The cleaning was thorough and more than I expected. They worked efficiently the entire time they were on site. Wonderful job!

Overall, I was very pleased with the service provided by Hortensia's Cleaning Service and I will definitely use them again. Nelson and Sandra were professional, thorough and friendly. They were even friendly to my chihuahua! At the end, Nelson did a walk through with me to make sure that I was pleased with the job they did and asked me if I would like for them to do anything else.
