It went very well from the beginning. Three people came in for 3 hours. They came in and asked exactly what was needed and diligently did everything as requested. They were on time and stayed the entire 3 hours as promised.

The crew of two people arrived with a slight delay (traffic). They started working right away and did not stop for even a minute for a break. Not only they were very thorough, they were also very personable and nice. Before their arrival, the apartment was a complete mess. After they spent 2 hours and 40 min. cleaning it, it was spotless. The apartment seemed more airy and smelled nice and everything was clean. If only I could have Hortensia Cleaning service come to our apartment every two weeks or even once a month! Great service, personable people, and overall high satisfaction on my part!

1st gold star goes to the flexibility that the company showed when I changed the apponintment date on 2 ocassions because of schedule conflicts that came up on my end. With just a quick phone call, Hortensia re-scheduled me and made it convinient for when I was available with courtesy and professionalism. When the appointment date came, the service folks arrived a few minutes earlier than scheduled, but called to ask if it was okay for them to come by. That was fine with me as they assured that they would do a thorough job in the 3 hours of cleaning that was advertised. And did they ever ! I laid out what needed to be done and, within minutes , they had fanned out through the house scrubbing and scraping areas that needed more than just a "spring cleaning". Sandra, who led the crew of 3, did a great job on the kitchen and dining area floors. The entire crew got made the bathrooms, interior window sills, and blinds shine like they hadn't in quite some time. In the 3rd hour, I was asked to look over what had already been done and to advise if something was missed or if anything else should be included. I was completly satisfied with the service, profesionalism, and results from top to bottom. I wholeheartedly recommend this service to anyone for any cleaning job !

IT WAS A DISASTER AND SHOCKING BEYOND DISCRIPTION! IT WENT REALLY BAD, AND WE ARE DISSAPOINTED, despite the trust we had in Angie's list! Hortensia as the owner came with another person. Both came to clean our house as agreed. We were happy she came herself to not only clean but to supervise as well. After cleaning was done, my wife realized a piece of blind in the kitchen was broken when they cleaned it. The broken piece was discarded in the trash. This was CONCEALED as if nothing has happened and we were NOT told of the damage. Hortensia after cleaning told my wife they have completed the cleaning and leaving. My wife identified the broken piece of the blind accidentally in the trash can. My wife then showed Hortensia, the damage they have caused. Hortensia stated ok, let me know how much it cost when you find out the cost of repair. We travelled after the first cleaning in January and when we returned, we called Hortensia to come back to our house so that we can plan ahead how to proceed with her services and discuss the damage further. A lady picked up her phone and stated Hortensia was driving and will call us back in few minutes. She failed to call back. Both my wife and I sent her text messages and informed her that we want to resolve this peacefully; otherwise we will report the incident and HER UNTRUTHFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE OF HORTENSIA CLEANING SERVICE TO ANGIE'S LIST. She finally called and made an appointment 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, she failed to show up. We called her again and the appointment was rescheduled for May 4th at 10 am and she was a no show again!! She has totally ignored our requests for a cordial meeting! We will NOT use her service ever again and will not recommend her to any one, because we cannot TRUST HER company! If HORTENSIA CLEANING SERVICES can hide a broken piece of blinds, who knows what items can be lost or broken in our home without being told. We still have the evidence of the broken blinds! I personally believe lack of respect and poor customer service from HORTENSIA CLEANING SERVICES. The cost of the blind replacement is approximately $115-$120! We will send the bill to her company to her attention and if she fails to pay it we will take any necessary action including calling Angie's list to lodge a formal complaint, report her to collections, and or to our attorney for any legal action. We will also update Angie's list if necessary for future customers to beware!

Three cleaners arrived early (which was fine - I told them I would be there) - they were thorough, courteous, paid attention to detail, cleaned areas that needed it - but I hadn't asked for (like high on a ledge in the family room). Nelson and his team were very professional and their goal was clearly customer satisfaction.

They arrived a little later than planned, but called ahead of time to let me know they were running late. I was very happy overall. Very happy with the staff and the results, I signed them up for monthly cleanings! :)

Excellent work. The team communicated clearly ahead of the scheduled appt. confirming time, etc. They arrived punctually and got straight to work, doing an excellent job of cleaning our home. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. I called them and they were able to come the same week. They did get delayed and had to come later in the day than they had planned, but they were very good about calling and keeping me updated on when to expect them. They did a thorough job and were very professional. At the end, although they had spent more time here than planned, they were willing to let me pay less since they had underestimated the job. I paid them for the whole time anyway (since I thought that was only fair) and I am going to have them come on a regular biweekly basis now. Definitely would recommend them.

I called up on a Friday morning asking about their services and pricing. Explaining that I wanted them to clean out a friends apartment. I explained that it was a bad situation almost a hoarding situation, they said that they would be able to help. We made an appointment for the next morning. They came on time, Nelson called about 15 minutes before to let me know they were on their way. They came with a team of 3 people and started working IMMEDIATELY. There was no hesitation, they came to do a job and they jumped right in. Very impressive. They made progress so quickly, We had them stay for an extra hour and we had them come back again a few days later to get more of it done and again they did an amazing job. We are going to have them come back on a regular basis and I am going to have them do my house as well. I highly recommend them!! Nelson the owners brother was part of the team, he was very personable. He was very diplomatic when discussing the mess, very kind and sensitive to the homeowners feelings. Nelson also has a moving company so he was able to take and get rid of a couple of larger pieces of furniture for a very reasonable fee. Again I highly recommend them.

They are a very nice couple. He was good. His wife came out as well and I like her. He was very good.

I would not recommend this service. I called to complain to Hortensia since I gave this service as a gift to my daughter. Hortensia was interested in repairing things that may have been damaged because she has insurance. When my daughter went to raise the blind in her living room after they did the service, it came crashing down and could have seriously hurt the dog who was quick enough to get out of the way. I'm not certain that the cleaning people were responsible, however, there was never a problem before they were there. In conclusion, considering the cost, the job that was done was a real disappointment. In four hours the entire house should have been shining!

Overall I was happy with the job. I don't have time or energy to accomplish this on the weekends, We get home at staggered times and barely have time to eat, do laundry and other basic stuff before calling it a day so this is very important to maintain an quality time we might squeeze in. They have since returned for cleaning services that I scheduled for every two weeks and the first return visit was great. She concentrated on the areas I wanted, followed some directions I left and used the cleaning agents I requested. We have 4 cats so eating and sleeping areas need to be maintained all the time and there is always cat hair to contend with. My bedroom must be cleaned well every two weeks as I am an asthmatic. Based on other quotes we received, they are a little higher in price for the time they put in, but if they maintain the level of cleaning and keep to a schedule, I am more than happy to pay it.

They did a fantastic job! Three workers came and cleaned my house and helped put things away. At the end, Nelson came to check on the house. He was very friendly. All the staff worked tirelessly. It was a little bit pricy, but it was worth it! They drove far to be at my place and they kept to their promises. I will use them again for cleaning out my garage. I can't wait to have them back!

After the first job was done and I saw how good they were, I asked them to come back the following week. This time they took all the boxes they had packed up for me from the basement and took them to my storage unit. They completely reorganized my storage unit and made it much more organized and easy to locate things. They also did a power washing job for me. It was a difficult job because they had to pwer wash the corrugated roof of a Florida room. But it came out great! Nelso and his crew work very hard and give you every minutes worth of your contracted payment. They never take a break. Thye just keep working and they get so much done. Before they leave they do a walk through to be sure they did not miss anything or if you want something done over. I have ahd other cleaning services in the past and this is the best I have ever had. The prices are excellent too.

We asked Nelson and Irma to thoroughly clean our three bathrooms - specifically scrubbing the bath/shower tiles which required a lot of attention. Told them if it took the whole time that was OK, but if they finished they could start on the kitchen. In the three hours allotted, all three bathrooms were beautifully scrubbed AND Irma had time to clean most of the kitchen including wiping down the cabinets, countertops, etc., and making the stove and microwave look brand new. Nelson is extremely friendly and helpful. While English is not his first language, there was no barrier. It's a family business and they take great pride in a job well done.

I paid for 10 hours of deep cleaning, and expected to have 2 people clean for 5 hours(total 10 hours). Instead, I was given the option of having 3 people for clean for 4 hours (total 12 hours of cleaning). They actually cleaned for 5 hours with no extra charge, so in essence, I received 15 hours of cleaning for the price of 10! Mu house hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. There was dog hair everywhere, nearly woven into the carpet, dried grease on the stove and the microwave, a pantry that hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and a whole lot of dust. Irma, Mauricio and Nelson worked for the entire 5 hours, dusting, scrubbing, vacuuming. When they left, the house smelled clean and fresh, quite an improvement over the state of the house before their arrival. Thank you for your hard work!

Hortensia was very efficient to coordinate with on the phone. Her staff was prompt , courteous and worked fast and thoroughly. I was pleased with the efficiency and work ethic of the team.
