Hortensia Cleaning Service LLC

To begin, they were one hour late. When I purchased the contract, I thought that the company was going to be in my house for nine hours. It turns out that three people show up, each working three hours for a total of "nine hours". My home is large and they were not finished in three hours. I paid an additional $100.00 for them to complete the work. They were very nice people and did a good job. They worked together very well. One of the owners, Nelson, was with them all the time.

They provide a very thorough job. I hired them to clean my home every 2 weeks. They clean all the floors, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms all for a very reasonable price.

They arrived an hour late. It seems there was a communication gap. One of the reviews of this service said they were told if you go and get shelves and items to hang things on in the garage, and the company will install it. When I asked about this, I was told, 'yes, yes'. We had our items, but clearly this was not a job for the team and was never intended to be part of the service. They did a great job of cleaning and putting everything back. But they do not install anything... just for people's information.

Their cleaning was fine but they stole $80 cash. They promised me a check but they never sent it. The work itself was fine but I would never use them again. They were trying to blame my son but I absolutely trust my son. I approached them about it and they denied it. They said they’ll put it in their insurance they will send me a check and they never did. I have not heard back from them. I’ve tried a few times and frankly at that point, I gave my son the money and gave up because it wasn’t worth my time anymore. The price wasn’t ridiculously unreasonable but it certainly wasn’t cheap.

It went horrible because for two days I waited for them. The first day they were an hour late which then made me have to reschedule for the next day. The next day I waited again for them to show up and on that day they did not show up at all nor did they call to cancel causing me to waste an entire day since I had to rearrange my schedule to accommandate the confusion from the day before.

NOT WELL ,OBVIOUSLY....MY MAIN COMPLAIN ACTUALLY IS NOT THE POOR CLEANING,BUT BEING TOLD COUPON PRINTED FROM ANGIES LIST WHICH STATED 10% OFF SENIOR CITIZENS,I WAS NOT ENTITLED TO//.ONLY 10.00 OFF......ON A $299.00 BILL.AND INFORMED THAT CHECKS MUST BE MADE PAYABLE TO CASH................SOMETHING JUST DOES NOT SEEM RIGHT.....

EXCELLENT AND WOULD RECOMMEND

the people were very pleasant. they did however, call and change the time the day before and then arrived earlier than planned the nest morning. A piece of Lladro statuary was broken. They brought it to me and said the piece was already broken and when they picked it up, the head came off. I don't think so!,,They left it at that. I have since had it repaired. also, when I mentioned that I was not happy with the shower doors, they said they tried very hard, but there was too much buildup on the doors.

Great service, friendly, professional...quality work. Everything was very clean!

House cleaning is very good. Sheets are all changed, floors vacuumed and washed, bathrooms cleaned, kitchen cleaned. Dusting is sometimes missed when the team is in a rush. The team is never on time. The home office gives a 1 hour window and the team has shown up after that window each time they have come.

Overall, they were efficient and very good. There was one intern-like person on the crew that seemed slower and a bit more lazy, but everyone else was really very spot-on. If it weren't for them, our attic would NEVER have gotten organized- thank you!

Three girls came. They were really lovely. They were finished with my requests 30 minutes before their time was up and rather than leave, they asked what else they could do and proceeded to clean out some kitchen cabinets.

The crew showed up on time and were friendly and courteous. They got to work right away. Unfortunately, their cleaning standards are not as high as I had hoped they would be. They missed many areas some of which I had them go back and correct. They did not move most items, only dusted around them. There are streak marks on my picture frames and lint from their rags on everything. This was not a deep clean. I contracted them for 3 people for 3 hours. I had my doubts that they would be as thorough as I wanted in that amount of time. Unfortunately I was right. I would have preferred they do a better job on two floors instead of rushing to get all three done.

A very nice group arrived and did an excellent job on both the windows and the basement. They even polished the furniture in the basement. Excellent service and I would feel extremely comfortable recommending them to anyone. I intend to rehire them in the future. It was an excellent experience.

I needed to get the attic cleaned up before a central air conditioning unit was installed. The attic had not been deep cleaned in a long time. The cleaners were punctual, courteous, and did all of the work as asked. It was a very pleasant team, and all the work they did was very well done. They took some old furniture and other things from the attic, put them at the curbside, vacuumed, swept, mopped and generally did an excellent job. The a/c installers had an easy time in all the clean space that had been freed up.

Cleaners arrived early, which was appreciated. They constantly worked during the time they were there. They were thorough, and tailored their work to our cleaning needs (for example: we weren't interested in dusting the few furniture items, but wanted ceiling fans dusted) They cleaned a college rental unit that a group of guys had lived in. Hortensia made it more than liveable...they did a great job...went above and beyond!

I called Hortensia Cleaning service this morning randomly because I needed my apartment cleaned. I spoke with Kim. She was pleasant and professional. I explained my needs and she suggested the deep clean. She advised she could send someone tomorrow or today. When I let her know that I wanted the best organizer she sent Nelson. Nelson, Irma and Guisela came into my apartment promptly and worked very efficiently. I explained my needs to Nelson and he directed Guisela to work on the kitchen and Irma to clean the bathroom. My bedroom closet was in dire need of organization. He and I went to the bedroom and he organized my closet so well that everything has a place. I love it! Guisela organized and cleaned my kitchen so well that I'm still amazed at her system. My bathroom is spotless. The ladies washed and scrubbed my bathroom and kitchen floor on there hands and knees. The professionalism of this service can not be beat. They may cost a little more but it was worth every penny and I will definitely use them in a future. Thank you Nelson for helping me to get my apartment organized and cleaned.

We were all set for moving into our new place but after having contractors in and out of our place, as well as a long gap of time between when the old residents moved out and and when we were going in made us realize that we needed to get some good cleaners in to prepare the place for us - so we purchased a deal and thankfully the team was able to schedule us in that same week (sometimes the waiting list for actually utilizing these deals can be long - I very much appreciated that Hortensia's was pro-active in scheduling our appt). The team of 3 worked very hard and transformed our place for us (they were very receptive to our specfific requests as well). I would hire them again and refer this service to anyone.

The services provided to me by Hortensia Cleaning Service LLC worked out okay. It was just normal. There wasn't anything in the house, furniture or anything. They did not do the oven and they missed one of the drawers in the kitchen, but they did a pretty good job. I asked them to do the windows, inside and out, and they did that. It's a big house.

The house was not as clean as it should have been especially considering the price.

Cleaning crew of three (including Nelson, co-owner of business) arrived punctually and were fully equipped to tackle serious cleaning. Nelson and I discussed the the job and they started work right away.. They worked non-stop for approximately 3 hours. They cleaned the entire apartment, including under the kitchen sink (and even organized and consolidated products) - they even organized our food pantry (as well as those pesky plastic storage containers). They washed the windows and cleaned the inside of the refrigerator. Our apartment has not been this clean since we moved in 6 years ago! We have used several cleaning services over the years and Hortensia's is the best by far. (In addition, the crew was polite and very pleasant.) I highly recommend them.

I can't say there is anything that I disliked. They were very good and came exactly on time. The owner of the company actually came to do the cleaning. They were very pleasant and I have no complaints. They are pricey; I found other companies on Angie's List with lower prices, but they did good cleaning. They were very punctual and professional.

Fantastic - extremely efficient and prodessional crew

They cleaned and organized my garage. This was rather necessary after some possums found their way inside and made quite a mess. Objects were tossed and destroyed, and insulation was torn from the walls. Hortensia removed everything from the garage and, with my supervision, threw out what was damaged. The entire garage was cleaned and the remaining things put back carefully. Everything was organized. My garage has never looked so good.
