We got them from Angie's List. We had a bad experience with them. They were highly rated, but our experience was terrible. They didn’t quite clean the house to our standards. We had them come again to redo it and do a better job. They didn’t show up. They are not very responsive. They didn’t show up on time on the date that they said they would. When they claim to deep clean the house, they don’t actually do a deep clean. It's just cursory cleaning and below average levels of cleaning. They are quite expensive for the quality of service that they provide.

Outstanding customer service, excellent quality of service and great value for the price! Turnaround time from service booking to completiong of house cleaning was less than 48 hours. Total cleaing time was 3.5 hours. Kim and staff gladly honored the Angie's list new customer discount. I did have to call to ensure cleaning staff would be on time per appointment, but I admit to being a stickler for ensuring service providers are on time. Veronica and cleaning staff did arrive within the appointment window and did an outstanding job cleaning the entire property. My previous tenants of all-males left my property ridiculously filthy. However the Hortensia cleaning team cleaned the property spotless so that my new tenants (a family with newborn baby on the way) can experience a clean home. I am extremely pleased with the level of cleanliness of the bedroom walls, floors, ceilings fans/light fixtures and window sills. I am emphatically pleased with the cleanliness of the two bathrooms, refrigerator and microwave. I did ask them not to clean the stove as I an planning to toss and replace it. I was working out of town at time of cleaning so Hortensia had to follow-up with me for payment. The calls were very courteous and professional; which encouraged me to make the time to delivery my payment to the main office in person. The people at Hortencia were very good about calling in advance to confirm the work, then re-confirming a day before the work was scheduled. My mother was thrilled with the quality of the house cleaning performed by Hortencia's cleaners. They were prompt, polite, professional and hard-working. They asked my mother at the beginning of the job if she had any special requests, and then honored these special requests. They even organized my younger sister's room (always a mess). At the end of the three hours, her house was sparkling clean. She would absolutely use these cleaners again (and is actually considering bringing them back in the future, which is a lot for someone like her, who prefers to clean her own house!).

They were proactive and called right away to schedule the date and time. On the day of the appointment, they arrived on time and did a great job! I will use their service and recommend them too.

Very professional. We were getting our house cleaned to put it up for sale. It turned out that I needed additional cleaning time as my house was rather dirty. They gave plenty of notice that everything I needed to get done was not going to get done in the amount of time I purchased. That was fine and I purchase ann additional hour of time.

They arrived promptly and did more than I had anticipated. The work performed was outstanding and they were looking to do more. As a result of the experience we have scheduled them to come back on a regular basis.

It went well. The gents were very helpful and worked hard; the cleanup was successful and the garbage separation went ok.

This is an excellent company. They are organized and so organized our kitchen and garage. They are professional and I would recommend them to anyone!

The workers cleaned areas that I didn't know were covered and cleaned them well. They listened to my requests for areas I wanted cleaned and included them in their work. They were respectful of my respiratory issues.

The 2 ladies worked very hard..not stopping for a break. Gisella and Irma .very pleasant..communicated well..Kim,the person on the phone was very efficient and called the day after cleaning.. I'm rescheduling in 2 weeks..I was very pleased with this cleaning service.

They (two men) worked efficiently & effectively. It took about 3.5 hours. They were very professional & it was well worth the expense. I only wish I had done this sooner!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were good. This was the second time we've used them and we're going to use them a third time once the weather clears to do our windows. They have done well. There were 2 or 3 people. One of them worked in the garage and a couple in the house. They did well. They were here about 3 hours but they stayed until it was finished. The price was good.

Went very well. Company was very punctual. Marilyn and Mauricio from Hortensia worked quickly and did a fine job.

They cleaned the whole house in a decent amount of time. The house needed a good cleaning and they did it, with a little extra overtime. They were quite professional and friendly. They did what we asked and did it well.

My only complaint was they were supposed to clean the inside of appliances (according to the deal/groupon purchased), but they failed to do so. We didn't push the issue, though.

We scheduled a date and the date that they came was the day before I expected them which could have been my error. I was not home when they came and was planning to reschedule at a later date. However, I will call to see if they can still honor the deal since it has expired now.

We did a terrific job. I would be happy to use them again.

Work was excellent. They did everything I anticipated plus a little more.

They missed one closet, which I didn't notice until later. Not a big deal. There are many closets in this house. |HORTENSIA WAS VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH,VERY ACCOMMODATING.

I'm being kind with my ratings. If you take on a job, you should be expected to do that job whole heartedly.

Once the team gets here they do a very good job and are efficient. But they are never on time and constantly over an hour or more late without even a courtesy call at the time they were supposed to arrive. Further it usually takes a couple of days to hear back after leaving a message or email. If they can get their timing down, i would use them again.

These people are absolutely fantastic. I previously used their services on an Angie's List Big Deal where they cleaned out my garage. So when I came time to do the basement, I called Hortensia. They are fast, personable, professional and do an unbelievable job. They go above and beyond and are very fairly priced. Everything was clean and tidy and they reorganized the basement better than I could have done myself. I bought a shelving unit to use to hold items and they put it together for me without even being asked. I will only use Hortensia and her fabulous brother, Nelson, whenever I need cleaning help in the future. I highly recommend them.
