Used them twice after initial one

Excellent. Hardworking Girls were doing their work appropriately on time.

This was the most horrible cleaning experience we have ever had. First, our appt was scheduled for 6/30 at 3pm. We get a call at 2:50pm telling us they are running behind and need to reschedule or come at 6pm. We chose the 6pm same day option. We had been quoted a deal for 2 cleaners at $199 for 3 hrs. The two women showed up at our home and 30 mins late 2 other cleaners where arriving. I asked if I was being charged extra and was told NO, they just needed the help to finish faster since it was so late. 45 min later there is a food delivery guy walking across my lawn. They had ordered food to my home! They ate in my kitchen for 30 mins and left rice on my kitchen countertops, which they did not clean! 3 hours later, they tell me they are finished and that the price is $300, keep in mind I had been quoted $199 and told the additional workers were not extra. The company never even called to ask if I wanted additional workers or was willing to pay $100 more for the services. When I walked around my newly purchased home, which had no furniture and did not require any of the flooring to be cleaned due to an appt specific for that the next morning, IT WAS FILTY. They had to send people out on our 4th of July holiday to complete the job that should have been done 4 days before. When I called and spoke with the owner about getting a $70 credit towards our next service, she quoted me $30 more than I had been quoted by the cleaning specialist in my home performing the services and was unwilling to give a credit in light of the events that had transpired. Needless to say, I will never use this company again. Hope this saves someone from the headache and rip off of money we endured.

They did excellent work. They were late but it was worth waiting for because they did an excellent job.

They were very professional and did a great job. Accommodated any special requests to focus on certain areas with a great positive attitude. They were detail oriented and hard workers. House was sparkling clean afterwards. I would highly recommend them.

2 cleaners came. Requested that they concentrate on cleaning the cabinets and drawers throughout the house. Still had crumbs in the kitchen drawers, didn't clean light fixtures. Paid for 3 hours of service and they left after 2 hours!! Would not use again.

During the working, the house cleaners are fine. We only have them to clean the first floor. But their work only lasted for 3 hours for 2 jobs. They did work hard. But after they finished their jobs, carpet shampooer was good, but for house cleaning, there were some stain on the tile, and stairs/floor. They said they did not have the cleaning tool to clean it up. They would like to clean it later. We took the pictures of that and sent them to the owner. After that, they kept postponing the service appointment. The owner called me on this Wed and told me she would like to send the house cleaner on this Friday (6/26/2015). But nobody showed up. I called the office, I was told there was NO service appointment for me today. Later the owner called me that they needed to send someone to check it on the next Monday. She sounds very tired. Such response is not acceptable.

I cant say enough about how great this company was! To start off we had a last minute cancellation from another company that was scheduled to clean this house at noon on Saturday (of Memorial weekend). We went on the internet and started calling to see if we could possibly schedule anyone else to come out and clean. This was a rental house and all the occupants had moved out and we needed it thoroughly cleaned before handing back the keys on Monday morning. Most companies were either closed or could not accommodate us on such short notice but then I came across Hortensia's Cleaning Service and called them. They answered the phone very professionally and when I told them my dilemma, she asked me to hold on while she tried to get a crew together. Within a minute, she was back on the phone and said she could have 2 people out there by 3:00. I said great and scheduled them. At 3:00 I received a courtesy call saying they were running a little late but they would be there shortly. Sandra and Hugo arrived at the house and immediately started working. They did all the baseboard molding, the blinds, the bathrooms, kitchen, floors and vacuuming. When they were done, the entire house was immaculate! The refrigerator and stove looked brand new. The bathrooms sparkled and the dust that was on the molding was wiped spotless and actually looked like it was freshly painted. They took such pride in their work and they were so nice and professional. I tell everyone, if you need a cleaning service call Hortensia's and ask for Hugo and Sandra.

They did exactly what they were supposed to do. I've already done a second job though them. Will use again.

We were extremely pleased with a job well done! We needed help at the last minute and they were wonderful fitting us into their schedule. The ladies were efficient, worked hard, never stopped in 3 hours and did an excellent job. The stove and refrigerator needed the most attention and they gleam! We would definitely recommend them and would also use them again without a doubt.

Great, took a little longer than i expected, but there was a lot to do so not surprised.

Top to bottom cleaning of a four bedroom house with two full baths. They also vacuumed the basement and wiped down the appliances. Totally appropriate, will hire them again.

The ladies cleaning were very nice and asked if there was anything else we needed to have cleaned. We were pleased with the service and plan to use them again.

The request was for a total of six hours of cleaning (2 people for 3 hours). I didn't expect them to be able to clean the entire house but they did. Overall, I was very happy with how well they did. This was part of a deal through Angie's List. The regular rates are considerably higher than other cleaning services in the area. I would use them again for special occasions but probably not for regular cleaning.

Very thorough cleaning. My house was covered in dust, and they dusted, vacuumed and dusted again to capture it all. They thoroughly vacuumed my sofas and chairs also of all of the cat hair. The job took longer than expected. They stayed an extra hour and a half to complete.

Sandra and her crew came and cleaned the entire house. It went very well, and it was cleaned from top to bottom. They cleaned everything, and stayed extra time to make sure it was all done. They cleaned parts of my house that have probably never been cleaned before. It was extremely thorough. They showed up on time, and called earlier in the week to confirm. Would use again.

The crew from Hortensia Cleaning Service were punctual and professional. They went far beyond our expectations in every aspect of the job. We would definitely recommend their services and will be using them in the future when the need arises.

Average. I have engaged them a few times in addition to the coupon service and inspite of complaints there's not much improvement. They are expensive. So if you are in a crunch and need some help desperately call them. Other than that: they forget to bring their own supplies ( no garbage bags, mops, cleaning detergents - use up your detergents without informing). Don't vacuum and dust completely, or will not vacuum a room and say they have, so you have to follow them around and make sure its done. One time, they were leaving when I discovered empty trash baskets and had to provide my own garbage bags. At least ask, if you didn't bring yours! Another time, they left trash on the closed recycling box instead of the trash can. And I said "put this in the trash can".They are more concerned about how to get in, get the money and get out to the next house.

They weren't able to do everything on the list due to not enough time. They did a good job.

Cleaners were punctual, courteous, provided their own cleaning materials, and worked until everything was complete. They also walked me through the house to allow me to point out what wasn't done or wasn't done to my satisfaction and they cleaned it immediately. Very satisfied

When I read the big deal it said six hours. It turned out that there were two women each being paid for three hours, and that was my six hours. That was not in anything that I read and if I had realize that was the case I would not have used them. It was an ok job; they did the floor and the bathrooms. I will not use them again but it was ok. My main like was that they were on time and they did a fairly good job. What I did not like was the advertising.
