They were great.

I contacted John for an estimate for mold removal which he came right away. I also asked that he give me a price to repaint the room with the mold removal. He wrote a confusing estimate that included the mold removal and at the bottom wrote an estimate for the painting. I thought the paint estimate was a bit high so I asked him what it would be just for the mold removal and he quoted me a price. I had received estimates that were almost the same as what I thought East Coast's was but I went with East Coast because of his quick response to my request for an estimate. When all was done, I was in sticker shock as the price for the job was the same as the original estimate that I thought included the painting. It was $1200 more than I was expecting. The end result was also supposed to be "paint ready" but the spackle was still wet when they left and it still needed sanding. He apologized for the "misunderstanding" but didn't offer anything to correct it. His work was ok but if you use him, be SURE to get an itemized estimate! I won't use him again as I am still upset over the "misunderstanding" but maybe you will have better luck. I thought it was also tacky to ask for cash....

John was great, and I am very pleased with his work , work ethic, and enthusiasm. The only reason I gave him 4.5 stars was due to some scheduling issues, but if I had another mold problem at my home I would definitely hire him again!

Performed mold remediation in a timely and workman like manor. Did everything as promised. Quick response to phone inquiry and scheduled the next day! Note: The process is odorous and a vacant building woud be advisable.

Blocked underground drain was part of job. Owner of business personally worked very hard to clear the blockage rather than disrupt landscaping by replacing. Overall experience a very good one.

I had an emergency situation with tenants in a condo I rent and John understood my urgency and came out to the condo to inspect for mold the next day. You can't ask for better service than that!

Jon, Louis and their crew did a great job. They were courteous and thorough; left the place very clean. We have yet to have any rain since the job was completed so we can't comment yet on the results. There was some mold which they remediated without doing more than was necessary. We believe Jon to be knowledgeable in his field and his lifetime guarantee gives us comfort. Louis also did a great job protecting my tile floor and on replacing the sheetrock.

John and Louis did a great job getting rid of all my mold and getting new sheetrock put up. I compared several companies before choosing East Coast Waterproofing, and chose this one for their knowledge, price, and timing. They were able to get in right away. They explained everything, and did great work, as well as making sure everything was clean when they left. A couple of times they were much later than expected, but they did call and let me know beforehand.

Reasonably priced, completed in a timely manner, and the owner of the company took a personal interest in our job.
