My Electrician LLC

My lights have been flickering for a few weeks (well maybe longer). Finally half of the house went out. I called My Electrician, they came within the hour. The office staff was wonderful and Nick was great. He was polite, professional, explained everything to me and had my power back in under an hour. They are now my go to electricians.

They came promptly, were very courteous, worked quickly and effectively.

|I was having my home interior repainted, when it occurred to me that I always meant to add lighting to the dark den. I saw the great reviews for MyElectrician on Angie's List, and called. I explained that the painters were due to start that room within two days. They came out that very afternoon and gave me a proposal, and they came back the next day to install. It seemed like a miracle! |But it turned out to be a very tough job. The ceiling had less than typical clearance to the roof, so that special fixtures had to be ordered. The struts in the ceiling went in one direction at the first hole cut, but then they changed and ran perpendicular (and crooked) to the first ones for the next 2 placements. The team emptied out a nearby attic, and crawled in the cold for over an hour weaving the electrical wiring in multiple directions to get the job done. And they never raised the price originally quoted. |A lovely female always called to let me know one hour before they were coming, and called afterwards to find out how it went. When the fan I purchased wobbled too much on high, they called ME back. They said for me to order a balancing kit from the manufacturer, and call when it came in, and they would return to fix it. This they did, and everything is perfect. |I was extremely impressed with the quality and care of this company. It was a pleasure having them in my home. I look forward to calling them for any electrical need, and I'll recommend them heartily to all.

the experience was great, they came in person to give a quote, submitted the permit for us, stated we would receive a call hr before they came and they did call. they even went so far as to install the light fixture not just the junction box and wore shoe covers because it was raining.

I came home to the smell of burnt rubber. It turned out to be my kitchen wall outlet which was blown and still sparking. Called 'My Electrician' first thing Saturday morning and, although a weekend and he was very busy, he came as soon as possible due to the potential hazzard. They found the problem and fixed the problem without having to rewire everything, which was a concern. Anyone else may have taken advantage of the situation and charged excessive amounts for work that wasn't needed due to the critical nature of this potential hazard. They were professional, polite, quick, communicated the situation, shared with us why it happened and overall a pleasure to deal with. Would only use them again for electrical needs,

I called, they said they would have a person there that day and would call me at least an hour before here arrived. They did what they said and the repairman arrived approx. as scheduled. The serviceman was extremely courteous, and quickly resolved the problem.

They were professional in the way that they handled it. I thought it was very good.

I have used them twice now. Both times they were great. They called me back, we set up appointment and they gave me a price on the spot. I agreed and all work was completed professionally. I now will always call them first for any electrical work I need.

They put in 1 outside circuit for Christmas lights and 1 inside circuit for a refrigerator in garage. Serviceman was very polite, fairly knowledgeable. However, he drilled thru the garage studs to run the wire for the circuits and the holes were not smooth and clean, they are badly splintered, and uneven, there are 2 extra holes with no purpose and all the shredded wood debris is all over. He said his vacuum broke... I think his drill is not working properly either. Unprofessional.

Efficient and worked diligently with assistant to complete repairs and installation. All clean up was totally satisfactory.

This was one of the best repair experiences we have ever had. The technician came out exactly as scheduled. He quickly found and diagnosed the problem. He was very thorough, finding other issues that could have caused future problems. We had a few other electrical projects that had been our repair list and he took care of those in the one visit, ultimately saving us time, money and inconvenience. The next day we received a customer service phone call, checking to see if everything was OK. We would definitely use My Electrician again.

Christian was very professional and gave us a nice quote. Another company just came in lower. I would call them again for another estimate.

Awesome! The representative from the company was prompt, courteous and really tried to work with and accommodate my needs. Unfortunately I cannot I absorb the additional costs at this time . Perhaps in the future when I get the funds together.

Christian arrived on time for the estimate for the ceiling fan and fix the front door light. Estimate was completed the same day. This is a 200 year old house. For the front door, he developed a plan to minimize the impact to the existing molding and structure. The ceiling fan was installed the same day. An appointment was scheduled before he left to return to fix the front door light. Once we started using the ceiling fan, we noticed it was making a noise on the highest speed. We called the office to let them know someone would need to look at it when they returned to complete the job. Christian was on time for the follow up visit. He checked on the ceiling fan and located the source for the noise and fixed it. He completed the front door work and installed the light. It was a pleasure working with him and his assistant. Throughout the process, he explained various options and was patient with my questions.

They were not hired for this job.

The office called at 7:30 a.m. and said Nicholas was leaving the office and was on his way.He arrived promptly and started to work. He explained what he was going to do and when he saw the situation he suggested upgrading my 30 year old amps to the customery new building amps of 200. I agreed to the price and he worked most of the day. He asked If I wanted a regular pull chain light fixture on the ceiling(at no charge) because my young son had hooked up for his trains an illegal connection to the panel for an old fluerescent light. He worked most of the day and left a clean and tidy area in the cellar and outside. When the township inspecter came to approve the job his comment was "this guy does good work"....and I agree. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Provider had to crawl in a very tight attic space to perform this work and he did very well.

. Everything went extremely well. Nick and Frank were here "on time" and explained what they were going to do and went about their business. The job took about seven hours to complete and they left not a trace of their being here. The installation went as they had told us it would. When they were done, everything was cleaned up, straightened out and taken away. We were very pleased. About 7:00PM the same evening, we came home from dinner to discover that several of the downstairs lights were not working. All of the breakers were "set". We called Nick and he came right over. It took him less than an hour to find the problem (a previously inert timer installed many years ago by a former homeowner) and - at our request - to remove it. The only significant issue to arise was Nick's (well justified) cautious approach toward the placement of the grounding rods. His sensing equipment did not give him a clear enough picture of where all of the utilities were buried at the grounding site, so he postponed this part of the job until the utility companies came out to mark locations. Within a day, Nick had arranged for all of this and it was completed within two working days. Frank was out the next day to bury the rods. We should note that Nick did not request payment for the "extra" work that he had recommended prior to the installation until after the job was completed. We cannot thank Nick and Frank enough.We found them to be highly professional, extremely knowledgeable and competent, courteous and reassuring.

Right out of the gate, we were impressed that phone calls are answered by a "real person" every time. What a nice change that is! We made an appointment, and Nik arrived right on time. He gave us an estimate which was very reasonable. We were very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. This company then took care of the necessary permits, etc. Frank arrived right on time on the scheduled date of the work. We can't say enough how impressed we were with the excellent work he did. What a great job he did on our knarly, rat's nest breaker box! He really knows his stuff!! His competence and attention to detail were evident every step of the way. He never stopped working the entire time to the point that I was concerned if he'd had lunch, etc. After the job was done, the area was completely cleaned up and all trash removed. We wouldn't hesitate recommending My Electrician to anyone. It was so nice to have a job done by such an exceptional electrician and company.

Electrician arrived within the stated arrival time. We originally thought the problem with the outlet was a blown circuit breaker, but electrician came in and troubleshooted the problem and problem was not with the circuit breaker, but a bad wire. He fixed the problem ensuring the plug and the garbage disposal (which was on the other circuit) were working properly. He also installed new GFI outlets very quickly and efficiently.; ensured he cleaned up around the work areas.

Got my call from their office and they gave me a time. Frank came right on schedule and immediately asked what I needed done. I told him what I wanted and he made a call then gave me a price in 5 minutes. I thought the price was fair and reasonably, so I said yes. He was knowledgeable and very courteous. Work was completed exactly as I wanted. It was great experience.

I received a call back from my voice mail on same day. Nick showed up as agreed to. Nick reviewed all of the work needing to be done, and provided keen insights and thoughts for me to consider. I am awaiting the written estimate, but have a verbal. While other electricians will be evaluated Nick so far ranks very high.

I called about 5 electricians before calling My Electrician LLC. Of the 5 only one answered and it was to tell me he couldn't make it out this week. I had no kitchen light, the socket for my fridge didn't work, no dining room light, none of the electricity in my basement where my living space and washer and dryer are worked, the upstairs hallway light didn't work, and my garage light didn't work. So I couldn't wait till the following week. One called me back that day but after I'd already booked with My Electrician LLC and they told me they couldn't come out until MAYBE the following day. And today which is five days later another electrician contacted me back. Happy it only took them 5 days. But on Monday I contacted My Electrician LLC and they answered and came out within a hour. Nick found what was wrong which were 3 seperate issues. He fixed them all that night within a few hours time. It was wonderful getting everything I lost back and getting the problem fixed. I was in so much fear that he would say, "Well I got to order a part". But he didn't. It was great. He was very friendly, talked us through the issues, notified us of issues that might arise in the future, and kept giving us updates on the price which after a recent moving fiasco with movers we greatly appreciated. It was great that they answered their phone, showed up on time and within that same day, and fixed the problem quickly for us. We would certainly use them again and tell our friends and family to use them.

Everything went good with My Electrician. They were clean and cleaned up afterwards.

Overall - Absolutely fantastic! I am totally impressed with this company! I found "My Electrician" in phone book and made the call. Nick, the owner, came out to give me an estimate. He offered two scenarios. He explained the pros and cons of each scenario. I kept in mind a previous estimate from other electrical contractor which gave me no alternatives and more negatives than possibilities, with no thought of adding a subpanel for further expansion. Nick seems so knowledgeable and had several possible ideas about placement and uses. He was extremely helpful and willing to work with me in any way possible. I appreciate the fact that he knew he needed to pull permits, etc. I just can't say how much I appreciated his friendliness, knowledge, advice and guidance. On day one, the work was begun by Nick and Christian. Then on day 2 and 3, Glenn and Christian returned to perform the work. Nick came out to check on things and reaffirmed what was being done. Again, I cannot say how much I appreciated the way they worked. Each answered every question and explained everything they were doing, any possible contingencies, and consulted with me for every outlet placement and fan placement. All were extremely pleasant and knew exactly what they were doing. They cleaned up work areas. I have to say, since having been burned many times by various contractors, I am very particular and often go back to the worker to confirm they understand and remember things we had already discussed. No matter how many times I did that, they were so accommodating and pleasant about it. They went above and beyond to make sure I agreed to everything being done. I recognize how much work this job took. They were up and down to the attic multiple times, up the ladder on the outside to place vent, and outside cables. I was also impressed by how well and pleasant they worked together. Bonnie, at their office, also was extremely pleasant and quick to work on anything; for instance the township inspector left without giving me notice that he was coming or here. I called Bonnie, and she immediately called the inspector to come right back, which he did and inspection passed. This company is the best contractor I have ever had, and believe me, I have had many.
