I found Dan Spagnolia by using Angie's List and decided to give him a call because 2 other electricians gave me the run around. Dan was very professional and polite and came over the same day to look at the job. After Dan left I felt confident that he knew what he was doing and that the job would get done as promised. On game day, Dan showed up with his partner and seamlessly completed the work without any hiccups(They even cleaned up). They also kept me in the loop on everything that they were doing. This was a great experience and Dan will be used again as soon as I save up more money! LOLHappy Wife Happy Life!

We chose Dan after getting about 4 different quotes. His prices were mid-high range of the quotes. However knowing that, if I had to choose again, I would still pick him. Dan and his team arrived early and finished the job by afternoon. His team was knowledgeable and guided us correctly when we had questions. We got about 12 recessed lights, 1 chandelier, 2 kitchen island pendants lights and 3 fans thru the house. We have 20ft ceilings and many other electricians told us putting in recessed lights would be difficult. Dan was very accurate in his decisions and didn't leave much damage behind. He spackled every hole and even installed our kitchen hood without charging extra. He even installed 12ft high curtain for us when we requested. After redoing many light fixtures I decided to change few more to match the rest. Dan came within 1-2 days and installed new lighting fixture. He was happy to finish his job and offered his services if we needed anymore assistance or changes to what was already done. Dan and his team are very hardworking. He never says no to work and takes pride in keeping his customers happy. In return he only asks for our honest opinion on Angie's list. We would highly recommend Dan Spagnolia and will definitely use him again if needed. Thank you Dan and team for the excellent job and being polite, professional, and going above and beyond.

Dan was a tiny bit late but it was NO inconvenience. He came on a really hot day with a helper. He needed a ladder to go to the roof section.I originally wanted all four lights to be replaced (including bottom of house}. I decided the price was too much for all four. Dan agreed I really only needed 2 of them. He finished the job quickly and professionally. He also answered some electrical questions before he left. He was a very nice man. He will be in my phonebook for any work in the future.

Dan was very thorough and professional in addition he came the same day I called....and was on time! I would definitely use Dan again and recommend him to family and friends.

Simply fantastic. I called Dan on Tuesday and he came out the next day. I have a 160 year old Victorian and attempted to install a ceiling fan and light in one of the bedrooms. It was not a straight-forward job due to the age of the home, the electrical wiring, and the ceiling itself. Dan efficiently re-installed the ceiling fan and light. It was a great job performed in a timely fashion. Cleaned up as he went as well as explaining to me what I did not do correctly when I installed it and how he was going to perform the work. While going up and down the stairs to his truck, he noticed a unique lamp on my stairs that worked, but could be turned on from the bottom of the steps, only from the top. He got to work on that and fixed it in no time. When I received the bill, it was about half of what I was expecting. Would definitely use them again. Cannot go wrong.

Dan was awesome. i called and he was there the next day to review my job. I was able to co-ordinate him with another contractor who was coming on a specific day and time. Highly recommend hiring Dan and his crew.

Kitchen magic came in for demolition and Dan said he had to be there that day to get everything in place. I think he absolutely did the right thing. He got everything wired up so when the kitchen was done he could finish the installation. He went above and beyond my expectations. He is very professional and great to work with. Dan is high quality. I plan on using him again in the future.

Came to give estimate on time, as promised. Completed all work perfectly on time, quickly and cleanly. Highly recommend. We are already making plans for them to do additional work.

We couldn't have been happier with our experience with Dan Spagnola Electric. From the start Dan was quick to respond for an estimate. We set up a time and date and he was very prompt. As we went down the list of things we needed taken care of Dan took the time to discuss each item in detail and to make suggestions for improvement as well as saving us money. We set a date for the work to be done but unfortunately had to reschedule do to unforeseen circumstances two days before. Dan was very understanding and immediately rescheduled us for the following week. Once again Dan arrived promptly. Dan and his associate Lee began work immediately. My husband and I both thought this would be an all day project however both men worked very efficiently finishing the work 3 hours earlier than we thought they would. Both men obviously know their trade well and were very friendly. My husband and I were both very pleased with the work that was performed and would not hesitate to call DAN SPAGNOLA ELECTRIC for any additional electrical work we need done or to recommend them to family and friends.

He arrived on time and with a helper and the entire job took 30-40 minutes. Although I made the appointment, I was not home but my husband was there. Work was done efficiently and would use his services in the future.

Dan goes above and beyond! I found Dan on Angie's List and it was the best find! Dan came out initially to look at a GFI that kept tripping, give me an estimate on motion lights, and look at a chandler that had 3 lights blown out at once (which I assumed it was an electrical problem with the wiring to the chandelier.) He immediately knew it was the wiring inside the chandelier -- he uninstalled it for me, put it in my car, and called ahead to a reputable lamp repair. In the end, the chandelier had to be replaced by the manufacturer. Dan came back to rehang the chandelier - it was a huge challenge to get straight and balanced -- he worked tirelessly until it looked perfect! After it was entirely hung - we realized a hook to a crystal was missing! Since I was pressed for time that day -- he went and picked up the part, came back and once again - worked until it looked perfect! Dan is very responsive and professional. Returns calls quickly, sent a professional, detailed estimate via email when he said he would. All his work is very thorough and neat!

Dan was friendly and professional. He cleaned up the area when finished - removed all boxes... Dan also came back out at my request, without an additional charge, to troubleshoot a problem that was caused by another contractor.

Dan was very professional and knowlegeable. He expertly did all of the work we needed, and planned a return trip to accomplish work which will require two people. I would definitely recommend him, he does excellent work at a very good price.

Called. Came out for an estimate the next day. Scheduled the work for the following week. Did everything as described in his estimate. On time, knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy. Price was reasonable. Work took an entire day. We will not hesitate to use him for all our future electrical needs.

The work was satisfactory. They were very efficient and polite. The work was very satisfactory.

The power was out in our powder room & after testing the outlet & replacing the GFI outlet there was still no power. After checking various switches & outlets we were unable to solve problem. We called Dan Spagnola explained the problem & he came out the next day & within an hour he found the problem & fixed it. He found a bad GFI in another bathroom & switched it out. We are very happy with his service.

Dan did the following jobs for us> Outside outlet, replace a porch light and put two lights up on our garage. He also installed two attic fans with shut off switched, disconnect the old window attic fans and installed a new light in a closet. He also at N/C replaced a regular light switch with a dimmer switch I had previously purchased myself.

When I called Dan, he himself answered immediately. He made arrangements to come look at what we wanted within three days, and said that if we were okay with the estimate he gave us, he would do the job right then. He came exactly on time, and gavwe us an estimate for the two outlets, to which we agreed. He didn't give us an estimate for the insert right away because he had to survey the situation. Installing the outlets in the bedroom presented no problem for Dan; however, the electrical insert was another story. He spent a very long time trying to figure out the most efficient, cheapest and effective way to get the job done. When he settled on a method, he did the job most efficently, neatly and cost-effectively. His prices were extremely reasonably. Dan was a pleasant man, who worked alone. He was neat and clean, and let no mess behind him. I would very, very highly recommend him to anyone. I know that I will never use another electrician.

A+ service all the way around. We had Dan (and 2 of his helpers) come out for a full day of work at our house. He installed 5 recessed lights, 2 pendants, relocated the electric for two light fixtures, added two light/fan combos in our upstairs bathrooms, installed an extra outlet, added an automatic timer for our outside lights, took down an old light fixture, installed electric for an over the range microwave, and hung our chandelier. His team repaired and spackled all areas of the wall/ceiling that needed to be cut. They cleaned as they went, running their vacuum at least a half dozen times! Dan also installed a new dimmer switch to replace and old dimmer, telling me that the old one could be a fire hazard. He did that as a complete courtesy! Yes, he did all of this work in one day! Actually he did all of this work in less than 8 hours! Basically, it was amazing. He was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. He gave us direction and helped us with some of our decisions. He also supplied new switches, including some dimmer switches for our new lights. Oh, and the price for all the work was incredible, not overcharging for extra items we asked him to do once he showed up. Thank you for everything Dan! We really appreciate it.

I called Dan on a Sunday morning. He returned my phone call within the hour and better yet went to the property within the hour. He was professional, did not try to overcharge me (no emergency Sunday fee), patiently explained the work that needed to be done, did not try to have me do unnecessary repairs and did an excellent repair. I will use him in the future and would definitely recommend him.

Dan was called to service our smoke detectors so that we could obtain a C/O in order to sell our home. He was able to come out about an hour after he was reached on the telephone. He and Lee found and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. They were efficient and kind, and even played a little with my 2 year old son! I would hire Dan again in a minute. We will most likely use him to install some lighting in our new home.

Dan provided an excellent estimate, one that was complete, professional and he coordinated with a subcontractor for work outside of his expertise. Ultimately the customer I was working with chose a different contractor even though I recommended Spagnola for the work. I would consider them again for future work.

He came on time - went right to work - was neat, courteous ,helpful and I am plesed with the result.

Although initially grumbling about the minor carpentry work required (he had to cut 1/4" off the sides of the cabinet and rip down a trim piece), he and his assistant did the work quickly, professionally, and with little mess. They cleaned up behind themselves as well.
