Dan is a great guy. He was a pleasure to deal with during our estimate process and even better to deal with once we accepted the work. Dan is extremely professional, a great communicator, honest, hard working, and trust worthy. It helps that he is a smart guy too - very knowledgeable in his profession. We had other people come to give estimates and when I asked them a question, they would respond with, "Well, what do you think?". If I knew, I wouldn't have to hire an electrician. I would hire Dan again without a second thought, and certainly will the next time I need any work he is capable of completing. Trust me - you need a hard working, smart, affordable, and professional electrician, Dan is your man.

I called Dan based on the great reviews on Angie's List, and I wasn't at all disappoined. He answered the phone when I called, and immediately made time to fit me into his schedule the next day. During the initial phone call, he gave me specific advice about what to pick up for the outdoor light install, which was incredibly helpful. Everything was done very professionally, and I will definitely use their services again.

Dan Spagnolia Electric gave me a reasonable quote, in line with my other estimates. I didn't pick them because I decided to go with a general contractor to handle the repairs.

My interaction with them was good. It was not bad at all. Everything else about their service was perfect. The guy came on time. He was very attentive to what I needed to be done. Their pricing was just higher than the other guy that I had here. I did not have much interaction with them.

I would give them all A's. He is punctual and respectful. The rates are justified and we are very happy with the service they provided. The price was reasonable and the work was exceptional. I would use them again in the future.

Dan came out promptly to review and provide an estimate, then came when he said he would to get the job done, quickly and efficiently. He was professional, friendly and helpful, recommending replacement of old switches and outlets, which I engaged him to do as an additional work order. The first job was completed in November 2012, the second about a week later.

Based on my experience I am getting quotes for several home improvement projects.

Dan and his assistant Ralph came over the same day that we called. They assembled an expensive, delicate glass pendant light and installed it in our kitchen, after removing the old light. They removed 4 more ceiling lights and replaced them with new ones. They removed an old chandelier and hung a new one in our dining room. Dan asked for our input when it came to assembling and positioning the lights, making sure that everything was exactly to our liking. They worked quickly, but they were thorough and conscientious, taking the time to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Dan also took the time to offer us advice regarding a possible ceiling fan installation. We feel that the price was great for the amount of work and the quality. We'll definitely use Dan Spagnolia Electric for future electrical jobs.

We called Dan on the recommendations from other Angies list members. Our experience with SPAGNOLIA ELECTRIC was great from start to finish. Dan was right on time for the initial estimate and spent enough time with us to make sure he understood what we wanted. He then provided us with cost effective solutions to our electrical problems. His price was reasonable and all communications with both Dan and his wife were pleasant, timely and very professional. All work was completed in one day with no problems. The quality of the work done was excellent, very neatly done. We are very happy with our new lighting in the kitchen and we feel like the time was put into the installation to make it a first class job. All wires were fished through the walls and all the holes are patched and the area is now ready for tiling. Work area was completely cleaned and all waste materials removed. Both my wife and I feel that the extra step was always taken to make sure we were happy with this job. We plan to use SPAGNOLIA ELECTRIC again in the future and have no reservations about recommending them.

Great. He was very responsive and does great work. This is the second time I used them. The first time was to replace ceiling fans.

Dan was very responsive to calls and questions about best way to accomplish what was needed. He was on time for all appointments and quick and efficient on the job.

This is my second time using Dan. I have a 160 year old home with renovated areas including some updated electrical wiring and some not. I lost power to my outlets in the kitchen with no GFI in the kitchen. Rather than chance working with my new and old wiring, I called Dan. I was somewhat embarrassed when he solved my problem in 30 sec. As he was walking into my kitchen, he spotted a GFI outlet near the floor in the dining room which is around the corner from my kitchen. Problem solved. While he was there he checked out my circuit box and replaced a broken ceiling light receptable in the basment. Dan responded quickly to my phone call, arrived exactly at the time promised, and was as always pleasant to work with. We did joke together that "we" found a new GFI in my home - definitely not where it should have been. His standard service call is $135. He cut me a break to $95+tax as the problem was so simple to fix and took little time. Would definitely use Dan again. Great service, nice person, reasonable costs.

Dan and his partner arrived on time and ready to work. They covered all dust prone areas with plastic covering to protect the furniture. Dan and Lee installed 4 recessed lighting fixtures in my living room with a dimmer switch. My home is older and has some electrical quirks which Dan and Lee quickly discovered. They installed 2 GFI outlets out front and a motion detector out back. My home was left in the same condition as when they arrived. I cannot say enough about these professionals. Honest and hard-working from the start. I need more work done and will definitely call on Dan for the job.

Dan came to give us an estimate and also tested some electrical problems we were having. He gave us advice on how to keep the price down by doing some digging ourselves. He was prompt both times he came and did a good job. He went beyond the specified work to help us solve some electrical problems.

Dan is very responsive and helpful throughout the process. He came out on a Saturday to estimate the work and scheduled us for the following week. Took about a day and half to complete everything. They have been fantastic to work with and meticulously neat. The work was done on time and on budget. He always following up and makes sure we are completely happy with the project. We are really happy with the new lights and I love my new TV on the wall. I highly recommend them for your electrical needs

Once again, Dan and Lee did an awesome job! They installed 6 high hat lights in our cathedral ceiling. They covered the floor with a drop cloth (that looked like someone had actually pressed! :) - to catch anything that might have fallen from drilling into the ceiling. The lights are perfectly placed and centered. They also replaced old eyeball lighting that had discolored so they would match the new lights. (Did not charge me extra for those). Dan is always willing to go the extra step - I asked him to take a look at another light as well as check the chandelier while he had the tall ladder out -- nothing is ever too much trouble! They are truly a pleasure to work with! By far - my best find on Angie's List!

My circuit breaker trip and I could not reset it. Hoping to have the problem resolved quickly I opened Angie's List to find a provider in my area. I call one person who to my knowledge never responded. I then called Dan Spagnolia and he answered, although he was on another job and said he would call back as soon as possible. He called back and was at my house with in an hour and a half. Dan came and completed the job quickly and professionally. Before leaving we discussed a few things that he might do in order to enhance my house. His suggestion made were done without any pressure but a concern for the betterment of my property. We would indeed use this company again. The speed of response was exceptional and the service was done in a professional and timely fashio

I removed an old electric stove (original to house, ~30 years old) from the kitchen when our new induction stovetop arrived... however, it needed a plug, and the conductor used was aluminum instead of copper. I called around to a few vendors; Dan replied promptly and was even willing to come out on Sunday. His quote was not the best, but it was quite close; add to that the Sunday service (best quote was for Monday) and I asked Dan to do the work. On the day itself, he called to say he would be a little late; this was not a problem since, hey, it was Sunday anyway! Once he arrived he promptly got to work and had the plug installed in very short order, including using the proper paste etc. for connecting the aluminum conductor to the copper terminals on the outlet. He also helped me move the stove into position. Before he left, he did a quick change-out of a bathroom switch to a dual switch, separating the light and the fan circuits - no extra charge.

He came promptly on the same day I called and figured out what was going on in a short time. I am pretty frugal by nature, but think the price was fair. You are paying for the expertise he has. He and his associate were very friendly and he got me out of a bind quickly. He also evaluated the rest of my home's electric needs in a professional manner. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.
