I called Dan on a Friday morning a few hours before we were leaving on a weekend trip, hoping to schedule an appointment for Monday morning when got back. Dan couldn't do Monday so instead he came over right then. Unfortunately he was unable to solve our problem because it is an HVAC issue, but he did everything he could, including talk to the HVAC tech for me on the phone. Professional, prompt, and couldn't be a nicer guy.

I had a very tiny job (adjusting the length on a pendant light) that really would not be worth most vendors taking, but Dan was very nice about it and very willing to help. Because of the location of the light, this tiny job took an hour but Dan was great about it. Definitely would recommend him!

I checked Angie's List to find an electrician in my area and chose Dan Spagnolia. I called Dan on Tuesday (7/2) afternoon, he answered immediately. I explained the work I wanted done-he listened and scheduled me for Monday (7/8) at 11am. Dan showed up right on time, he checked out the job, gave me a quote. I accepted his quote and he went right to work. He started with fan and as he removed the old fan, he found that the fan had been installed incorrectly. The fan was operated by a remote, and whoever installed it did not know how to install the remote's receiver. So that person mounted the fan on the ceiling and place all of the wiring & the receiver were placed on the attic floor above the fan. That installation was not up to code, so Dan had to re-assess the situation, he went into the attic located the wiring & disconnected the wiring. He then drilled out an opening in the ceiling, attached the new fan's base to the rafter, dropped the wiring down to the fan base. He re-located the remote's receiver into the fan's base bring the installation up to code. Then Dan noticed that one of the supports for one of the blades had no studs for mounting the blade. I expected to have to return to Lowes to exchange fans but Dan saved me the trouble. He was able to take the mounts from the old fan and use them to mount the blade. Dan then move to swap out the 2 ceiling lights, all went smoothly. Finally he tackled the damaged light fixture, and in less than 5 minutes repaired the damage & re-mounted the light . In a little less that 90 minutes, Dan had completed all of the work, removed all of the old materials and cleaned up! From the first phone call to the completion of the work, Dan was professional, confident, & friendly. He explained what he was doing & why. Dan Spagnolia had "A" ratings on Angie's List when I searched, now I know why--his work is "A+"!

1) He was prompt after I called. 2) He evaluated the two issues and said no problem. 3) He finished in ~1 1/4 hr, about as long as he said it would take. Would I request him again? Yes.

Dan has saved my butt quite a few times. I was in the middle of a kitchen remodel and found out that I needed to move a microwave across the room. He came in and moved all the wiring for me so that I could have a dedicated line for my fridge and microwave.

I called on Friday. Dan fit me in early Saturday morning which was great because I need to use this outlet for my electric corded lawnmower and the grass was getting high! He is prompt, pleasant and competent.

The job took a little past an hour in the heat of a 90 degree day. I would send Dan to anyone looking for an electrician. The price Dan quoted me over the phone, is the price I was charged. It was a pleasure working with Dan Spagnolia.

Fantastic! I recently purchased a home built in the 1850s and while most of the electrical had been upgraded, most of the the outlets were two-prong and some of the lighting fixtures needed to be moved around. Dan was able to promptly schedule a time to come out to to make the necessary upgrades. They arrived promptly within the promised time frame and were able to complete all of the work in the one visit in spite of the fact that I gave them a really tight time frame to finish it all due to my schedule. They were very polite, friendly, and willing to explain the changes they were making and any issues they came across in spite of the rush. Will definitely be calling again if I come across any additional work!

Top notch service from the very start. I called Dan, left a message and he got right back to me. I told him what I needed done and he suggested I purchase the exhaust unit my self so I was get the unit I wanted at the price I wanted. We were trying to work out a date for him to do the work, when I told him I could get the exhaust unit that morning he said he could squeeze me in that day. I ran out to Lowe's, got the unit, called him back and he was out within the hour. He worked efficiently and neatly and before long was out the door. I can't tell you how much I appreciated the convenience and the work done. I would recommend Dan to everyone.

Dan was great to work with. His other helper was friendly and helpful. I noticed that he was very neat when he was working. He vacuumed up all the dust and spackled where he had to cut into the wall and ceiling. I would definetly recommend him to family and friends. You won't be disappointed with Dan.

I was extremely pleased with Dan Spagnolia and his his assistant. They arrived within the time frame given, gave me a very fair estimate, installed two new light fixtures in a short period of time, cleaned up everything and removed the trash! Dan is also very personable and offered some good suggestions about some other lighting options in my home. I would definitely hire Spagnolia again and have already referred him to others.

Dan & his assistant arrived on time, provided an estimate and did the work in under 2 hours. They were polite, friendly, professional and even cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again, infact we already made an appointment for them to return to do additional work.

Estimate, scheduling and installation all went smoothly. All lights as well as living room speakers work properly (have not had time to install outdoor speakers as yet). Dan cleaned up well after the job was finished as well. Dan clearly mentioned to me during the estimate that he does not do home theater installs, but would fish the speaker cables for me since the ceiling was already open. He mentioned that this was the hardest part of the job, and likely would not continue to do this service. For him to do this part of the job I am highly appreciative. Overall A+ work. Thank you. After calling around to several electricians we decided to go with Dan Spagnolia Electric LLC because he had competitive prices, was a small company (him and his brother Ralph at the moment), and overall gave a good impression. Dan and Ralph showed up around 830am and were here until approximately 1pm. After a short walkthrough of the projects they got right to work. They were both very polite and efficient and I felt that they did all of the work very competently. Everything looked great installed and they cleaned up after themselves very well. We provided the house light & siding flush mount kit and the three ceiling fans, while Dan provided the 270 degree dusk to dawn motion detector flood light for the backyard. Overall, great experience and I would not hesitate to give Dan and Ralph a call again - we will for any future electrical needs!

Dan was a truly skilled, licensed electrician who performed all required tasks at hand. He performed all of them effortlessly and worked well with his brother, Ralph. I was amazed and impressed at the way theses two highly skilled gentlemen worked together. They were professional and personable, and I would hire them again the next time electrical services are needed by me. When they were finished, no one would ever know that so many tasks were just finished, because they cleaned up, removed trash, and left everything as clean as when the first got there. Start to finish, I give them a 10 out of 10. Let me add that they were also kind enough to swap out a fixture for a nearby relative at no charge. Unheard of, but much appreciated!! Situation One: We called Dan based on the recommendations from Angie's list - we removed an above ground pool, and needed to shut down the electric for the pump - Dan came out when promised and did a quick and efficient job. While he was here, I asked him to replace an outlet in my daughter's room... found out that the wiring in our 40+ year old house was Aluminum and needed to be replaced. Dan gave me a couple of options - he did not push - but insisted that we should have the work done (either by him or someone else). Based on the urgency, I readily agreed, and Dan and his crew came back to do the job - he arrived on time (around 8:30) and went through the entire house - outlets/light fixtures, etc.) to repair and replace. He finished the job around 2:30 - house was just the way we left it, and we now sleep a lot easier at night! Great job - highly recommend Dan Spagnolia electric!

Our two boy's are getting older and we are in the process of upgrading and making our boy's room a, "Big Boy" room. So, our first event in their room is to have a much better ceiling fan with more features. I was going to make the attempt to install the fans on my own but, as I started the process, these particular fans are very heavy!! Much heavier than normal... Knowing that when we had the house built a few years ago,we had the builder install special electrical boxes that have the ability to support the ceiling fan of any type. Again, these fans have thick panes of glass that are very heavy. I decided to jump on Angies list and search for an electrician. Great reviews and testimonials made me dial Dan and find the cost to install. Dan returned my call instantly and quoted me an excellent price... We decided on an installation date and when the day arrived, he was here when I needed him to be here, removed the two fans, installed the new fans, explained the functions and features of these fans and!!! brought with him, all of the trash... Overall, we are extremely happy with price,professionalism,punctuality and time frame. Yes, when electrical work is required in our home, Dan Spagnolia will be called for the job.

Dan and his helper provided excellent service and professionalism from his arrival to departure. He explained everything in detail and he is very pleasant. Given the fact that is was the holiday weekend and we did call on short notice, it was not a problem for him; and he was on time.

Dan and his helper Ralph arrived within the hour that they said that they would and begin to work. They first covered my carpet with a drop cloth and helped me moved a desk with a glass top out of the way. The drilled a hole in the ceiling with a drill that had a rubber attachment on it to catch the dust from falling down. They ran the electrical from the closet to the light fixture. They had to cut a small hole in the closet to run the wire and they patched back up that I would not have to do much of anything to it.They attached the fixture and put the bulbs and the plastic covers on. The light work fine. They clean up and helped me move back the desk and glass top. They wiped down everything and within an hour I was on my way out the door. I will use them again in the future with no problem and I will tell my friends about them also.

This company gets 5 stars!!!! They were fantastic, I had another company cancel last minutes and I called Dan's company to please help me. I had taken a half day of work for the other electrical company to come and look at the issues we were facing. I called Dan at 7:45 pm on Wednesday night and he was more than happy to squeeze me in to a full schedule for Friday afternoon, since I only had one afternoon to fix the problems. The Electrician was very kind, knowledgeable and patient. I can't imagine hiring another company, i'm so glad the other company cancelled. I will call them for all my electrical needs.

When I spoke to Dan and explained the problem we where having with the electricity in our home, he said, "I know what the problem is." He explained he has done a number of homes in Willingboro and the wiring needs to be changed out. He showed up on time and went right to work. I expected him to just give us an estimate and schedule something for a later date. He said no, let me check out a few things. He started in my sons, room, then said he needed to get to my daughters room, then stated what room or how close is the electrical panel to these two rooms. I showed him the garage and he asked about a socket there. I told him that didn't work either. Within 30 minutes, he changed out the main source of the problem and ALL of my power was restored in the problem areas. I was so excited, no more extension cords across the rooms. Best of all my son can go back to his room, I have my living room TV back and the family room power was restored too. He then explained that I will need ALL of my electrical sockets changed in the home, he gave me an estimate on changing out all the outlets in my home, but only charge us for the service call for what he repaired on the initial visit. It was a GREAT DAY and I was glad I found him. WE WILL be calling Dan to complete the rest of electrical sockets and plates. They are great from the beginning to the end. They care about Angie's list customers and that's why they can get straight A ratings - 100%! They are polite, explain everything to me with great patience, and they even did a lot things extra for me. Dan helped me figure out some problems with my front yard landscaping light, and taught me how to use the timer for the garage door light. I really appreciate him for doing that (and he still just charged me the same amount as we agreed on the phone, for just replacing the disconnect). Those little things make me very happy :-)
