I called before noon and he was at my house by 2. Troubleshooting was fast and professional. Gave no sales pitch to do more work. Fixed the problem and gave advice on other issues. Wonderful experience!

Our experience with Dan Spagnolia and his team was a very positive one. Dan, Karl, and Ralph are true professionals. The work was done when promised and done well. We had a question about the operation of the spotlight and Dan quickly followed up on the weekend and answered our question. Dan even took the time to answer questions about our existing landscape lighting. With his help, we were able to resolve a small issue ourselves and save some money! Couldn't be more pleased. The work was thoughtful, efficient, neat, and Dan made very helpful suggestions. He returned later in the day to install extra fixtures, when I didn't have all that I needed. Excellent service at a very reasonable cost. Had previous estimates on the above and Dan was well below their price. Very nice to deal with and showed up exactly on time. Could not have asked for better service. In the emergency situation, Dan came out promptly (fire trucks were still here) and gave us a detailed explanation of what happened. He then went through the house to make sure there were no issues. He identified a few minor areas that could be taken care of when he could come back (weekend). The emergency happened at night, and I was amazed at how quickly he came out. He was extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain what was going on, and most important gave us a comfortable feeling after what could have been a disaster. I HIGHLY recommend Dan Spagnolia!! I e-mailed Dan Spagnolia on Wednesday afternoon. He called me that night and appeared at my door at 10:00 the next morning. He gave an estimate, to which I agreed, and performed all work by noon. Dan cleaned up as he went and left my home as clean aws he found it.

Not knowing an electrician, I have relied on my handyman for miscellaneous electrical work. But this last project was beyond his means, and it got me thinking about the issue of liability. I joined Angie's List specifically to find a local, trusted electrician. I was very impressed and very happy with the service I received from Dan Spagnolia Electric. During their visit, I knew that that my home was in competent hands and that gave me a million-dollar peace-of-mind feeling. They resolved my problem with minimal effort, in minimal time, and at minimal cost. I learned that the handyman should be doing handyman jobs and the electrican should be doing the electrical work. It was a pleasure to have Dan Spagnolia Electric in my home and I look forward to scheduling my next job with them.

We had a major mold problem in the kitchen that was just remolded one year ago, Dan did all the electrical work for the remodel by installing great under counter lighting. He then returned was the mold remediation started and took out the under counter lights and told us to call him when we were putting everything back together. I know that Dan is really busy, but when I emailed him, he set a schedule for the following week to come out. He understood that we have been through a lot in getting the kitchen back together and was there to help us when we needed it. We changed the scope a bit and decided to add pendant lights which Dan installed with no problem. I also was experiencing a problem with a light in the laundry area, and Dan came back that same afternoon and installed a new light socket. I continue to call Dan for any electrical work because I know it will be done right the first time, and Dan is a true professional with a great personality that I enjoy working with. I don't bother looking for other electrical contractors. Dan is the only electrician in our area that I will call. I recommend Dan to anybody that needs his services.

Excellent Excellent. Quick reply from the time I placed the first call, sent someone to my home to give an estimate of the cost, and performed the work yesterday to our complete satisfaction. After the work was performed, they cleaned up any mess or dust and left the house as if they were never there. I highly recommend them and would certainly use them again. Only one disappointment.. you can ask for a Angies List discount of 10%, or a Senior Citizen Discount of 10%, but they will not give you both. The ad on Angies List is not clear about that.

I am in the process of purchasing a new home. I emailed Dan Spagnolia Electric to have them address some items that came up in the Home Inspection Report (GFI outlets and deox of main feeds coming into the panel). I received a prompt response and was scheduled for Monday 11/18. On Friday 11/15 I was notified that because we did not have ownership of the property yet the Lawyer for the estate required proof of insurance before work could be done. I emailed Spagnolia electric Friday, November 15, 2013 1:41 PM and received a response with the required proof of insurance attached in the email Fri, Nov 15, 2013 at 2:01 PM. Talking about a quick turn around! Dan arrived promptly on Monday to install GFI outlets and deox the feeds. After evaluating the circuit layout he determined that he would be able to protect the outlets in question using 4 less GFI outlets than I originally requested to be installed. Great to know Dan is honest and won't install un-needed extras. He will evaluate and do it the right way at a reasonable cost every time. Thanks Dan Spagnolia Electric!

Dan Spagnolia and his crew are the way people in business should be. I just moved into a home and was in desperate need of services, not to mention I wasn't quite sure if the electric in the house was safe. Dan fit me into an already busy schedule to help me out. I was impressed! I have used him twice now, and still have a lot more to do. At least I know I picked the right electrican. Thank's again Dan for your help. I also like to note that your employees are as professional as you.

Great as always, Dan was timely and work was completed successfully. We are moving to a new house which is in need of a few electrical updates. We will definitely be calling Dan to complete them!

Dan was courteous, efficient, honest, & professional. He returned phone calls when he said he would, and gave me a quote over the phone since my home is a bit far from his location. He and his assistant got to my home on time and did an excellent job. They were also very careful to clean up after themselves, even after I told them that we were replacing the carpets so they didn't need to be very neat. I would definitely hire them again!

They were great! I called and they were able to fit me in and came over within 2 hours of the call. The repair was done quickly and they cleaned up afterward. He also discussed potential future projects with me. They were polite and professional. Will use again!

Once again, Dan (and Carl) did a great job! Had the lights up in no time - took the packaging and old fixtures and disposed of them for us. Dan is truly a stellar contractor! We've also used him as a resource to recommend other contractors that we were looking for -- If they meet his professionalism and work ethic - I know we will be happy.

Dan and Paulie did a thorough and efficient job. I had a number of issues which were fixed in half a day. The work was professional and the price was reasonable. I won't hesitate to call Dan again when his services are needed.

Dan returned my initial call promptly and scheduled a free estimate within a few days. Dan arrived on time for the estimate and spent a good amount of time with me explaining different options for the panel replacement and pros and cons of each. We walked through the options for installing and switching the recessed lights to minimize the cutting and patching in the existing walls. He was willing to work with me to adjust the scope of the work to meet my budget and honored his advertised discount for Angie's List customers. Due to the amount of work, Dan indicated he would need to split the job over 2 days, taking care of the lights first and then returning to do the panel. On the agreed upon day, Dan arrived punctually with his brother, Ralph, and 2 other electricians to make sure they would finish all the lights and outlets in one day. We walked through the placement of all the lights and then I left for work. When my wife returned in the afternoon the lighting was finished, patches installed and a first coat of spackle applied. Dan and his team left the house as clean and tidy as they had found it. As we discussed, Dan returned a couple of days later to install the panel and finish up one of the outlets. Dan and Ralph worked quickly and efficiently and within a few hours the panel was installed and power was back up. Ralph also sanded the patches and applied a second coat of spackle, leaving the patches smooth and unobtrusive. I appreciated not only Dan's obvious residential electrical expertise but also his knowledge of the homes in my neighborhood to minimize the impact of his work. I felt he was very honest and willing to offer cost effective solutions. And I also appreciated his positive attitude and good humor. It was a pleasure to have Dan and Ralph work in my home and I would definitely call him for my electrical needs in the future.

Dan andhis assistant came out and did an excellent job. They were professional and very pleasant. They did the work at the quoted price and I will have them come back and replace my lighted medicine cabinets. I would recommend Dan to my family and friends and am thankful for the service Angies list offers.

While getting our roof redone Dan and Ralfy came to our house to add a new attic fan. They went up to the attic and within half an hour everything was up and running. They both did an outstanding job and were very personable. We will absolutely use them again in the future.
