CLEAR VISION AUTO GLASS

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a business. I hope me telling my experience helps you not to have to have a similar one. So I hired these guys to replace a cracked windshield in our van. I set the appointment up for first thing Saturday morning. The installer calls me the morning of to tell me he isn’t coming until the afternoon so I tell him that’s not a problem if we dont have to be there and we will leave the key. He says no problem but we will need payment upon completion. I tell him call us when it’s done and we will pay via credit card. So I get a call around 2 pm from the installer saying his boss says I need to call him for payment and he is getting ready to start the install. So I call the boss and explain to him I will pay as soon as the job is complete like we agreed on. He immediately gets ignorant with me and says his tech is done. I explained to him I just got off phone with the tech and he told me he didn’t even start yet. He changed his story to he didn’t know what where his tech was with the install. We had a conversation for a while which made me feel totally uncomfortable with this establishment. I told him at that point I would send one of my employees over there to pay the tech and inspect the install as I did not feel comfortable with this guy at all. He said no problem. So the installer called me me about 20 minuets later to tell me he was finishing. I told him my guy will be there in 15 minutes to pay. Here is where it gets weird. My guy calls me in like 15 telling me the windshield is smashed, the gasket around the windshield is missing, and the ladders are hanging off the van. I call the installer and he informs me his boss told him to install the old windshield that he dropped and was smashed out back in so that is what he did. He also said if I had paid when I spoke to him we wouldn’t have had this problem. I call the boss and he refused to answer any of my calls. End result is cops called and we’re going to have to take him to court. Never in my life have I seen such terrible customer service. I don’t know how this business is even surviving like this. Please do yourself a favor and put yourself in a position to have these folks do you wrong.
