Never called back.

I moved into my house about 18 months ago and had completely ignored the landscaping up until this point. It had gotten out of control with over growth, weeds, and dead plants. I hired Bill to clean up everything, and he did a great job. Bill knows his stuff, and the best part is he's quick to schedule appointments, provide quotes, and get the work started. He did a fantastic job, and I've already called him to see about getting a quote for some new plants and a patio. He will be my landscaper for all projects going forward.

It was easy to make an appointment for Bill to come out and take a look at the property. I rushed home that day to meet Bill; he came about 1 hour late (previous commitments, I learned). He spent very little time talking to me about what I would like done; it was almost as if he did not care about the job. He made no effort to learn about my ideas for the place. He promised to send me a quote shortly afterwards. About one week later, I called his company to see what happened with the estimate. When it finally arrived, it was highly predictable and unimaginative. Overall, I did not feel comfortable to proceed with the job.

He told me that he would have an estimate within 4 days. When I hadn't heard from him I called them and the receptionist said he would return my call in approximately 24 hours. As of now, 8 days later I have still not heard from him.

Bill is a pleasure to work with, as is his office staff. They were very professional and responsive from our first meeting to the completion of our project. Bill made and kept every appointment, took the time to explain the project to us, provided us with a detailed estimate and a tentative start date. Jennifer, in the office, called every morning to let me know what time the crew would be arriving and called me back promptly if I needed a question answered. When we had some concerns about the spacing of the shrubs or the number that was needed, Bill responded immediately, first calling and then showing up within the hour to correct the problem along with another separate crew. When it was completed and we noticed some additional minor spacing issues, he brought his crew back the next day and they worked in the rain until the work was done to our satisfaction. I'm not sure you can ask for anything more from someone who is working with you. Unfortunately there are too many people who disappear, don't show up or provide inferior work and responsiveness. Bill and his staff were a refreshing change to the nightmares you sometimes hear about contractors. I would highly recommend Bill's services for any landscaping needs you may have.

The work he has done has been beautiful. Everything turned out wonderful. I highly recommend him to others. We plan on using him in the future to put in a retaining wall.

The folks at Bill's Scenic Landscaping are friendly, honest, knowledgable, and conscientious. Bill and his teams (each specialized to the type of work being done) delivered as advertised. They began and finished when they said they would. They are very courteous, provided their expert recommendations, and sought our feedback throughout the duration of our projects. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience and look forward to using them again for all our landscaping needs.

I walked the gentleman through what I wanted to do. He said that he would provide an estimate. They never did. I expect that if I take time off to meet someone, that they owe me the courtesy of either giving me a quote or to tell me that they are not interested in the work. I would consider either response as professional. I gave them a C for responsiveness since they at least returned my phone call and came out to look.

He gives us a special deal because we?ve been a long time customer of him. His price is very reasonable. They are excellent. They do excellent work and they are very reliable. They are very proactive and very polite. They do an excellent job. I would use their services again in the future.
