Rodrigo was a charm to work with. We had to refinish existing wood flooring of a pretty big house and also had to install new hard wood floors in upstairs bedrooms. It all started with requesting a quote. Rodrigo responded with a quote the same day. I asked him to come out and look at the floors (since they were old and under rugs for 30 yrs) and he came out when we scheduled, let me know he was on his way. We shopped around for companies, and Rodrigo won hands down. Customer service, response time, knowledge, friendliness, cost (among other things)...Rodrigo had it all! Hired! Now, put that to the test. We scheduled, he and another came out as scheduled (on time), came back the next day to finish the oil coating (on time), let me know when all complete. While working the first day he came across a few things that I wasn't aware of...he called me immediately and gave me suggestions...he didn't just leave it be--he let me know which is so important to me, and so appreciated! When we came home to finally see the floors...THE FLOORS LOOK AMAZING!!! Actually, the floors look better than I imagined! All the different color hues that I wanted to keep in this old floor were fantastic! Everything was cleaned up, all trash was in a large garbage bag...I was amazed! I would HIGHLY recommend Platinum Hardwood Floors (and Rodrigo) in a heartbeat...I have already recommended to some of my friends who are considering refinishing their floors. Quick response. Was able to provide a quote the next day, and give me an appointment for the next week. The floors had staples and nail which they were able to remove. The floors came out great.

Very professional, efficient, quality work. I had them come and resurface my hardwood floors, some of which I had previously stripped and stained myself with a dark walnut. They were able to strip them back to their natural color and it looks amazing! I also had them extend the hardwood floors into the kitchen and this was matched to the existing hardwood. I could not be happier with the out come!

I had a terrible experience with another company that I hired to install and refinish my hardwood floors. The project was supposed to take 3 weeks, but was a complete mess - we were 2.5 months in, and our move date was in jeopardy. The quality was garbage and I decided to cut my losses and look for a new company. I found Platinum Hardwood Floors via Angieslist/HomeAdvisor. Rodrigo came in, provided a quote, discussed the details of the project and from the very beginning was a true gentleman. He was honest, reliable and delivered great results. Since I was in a time crunch - he sanded, stained and finished 2000 square feet all in 4.5 days (Duraseal stain and 3 coats of Bona finish). The key was they worked on the house from start to finish and did not juggle 10 projects like the other company. He uses great tools, quality products and is super skillful. He was able to fix all the defects from the other company and went above and beyond on the project. The entire job was done in exactly a week after I first met him. They came when they said they would, and delivered beautiful work. My wife and I love our new floors!!
