+ 0 moreThere was a lot of debris I had to clean up after they left. Once the contractor arrived at the site the person in charge decided some extra work was needed. He stated it needed a new chimney and extra plywood. This made the price go up. I feel as though they should have had someone who knew what they were doing come before the project even started to see what needed to be done.

+ -1 moreWent to Lowes in Hackensack on Saturday night to price/buy carpeting. As we entered two greeters at the door? No help in the carpet dept. several people looking for help, employee who showed up knew little about the dept. We left the dept after an hour without help. On the way out we picked up light bulbs and got in line. One register open plus the young man was also helping the self check out lanes where people were trying to pay. Still two greeters at the entrance and two employee's (security?) people standing at the exit directly behind the cashier, no one helped him. Very disappointing trip, numerous employee's doing things like stocking shelves, looking at catalog's, basically ignoring customers. Great way to increase business and repeat business at that store.

+ -1 moreThey did a bad job, they left debris all over my driveway. When I contacted Lowe's about the issues I was having with a provider they sent out, they never did anything to correct it.
Description of Work: Lowe's outsourced a company to replace my roof.

Description of Work: Purchased an entire kitchen including a storm door. The storm door broke apart 10 months later after Lowes installed it while under warranty. Called store numerous times, no reply. Went to the store and left my iinfo, no reply. Contacted Lowes HO via email they had someone from the store call me with an offer to "give me some parts" I declined, asked for a new door which they said I had to speak to the mananger who would call me. Never did. I emailed HO again and they said someone else would call me. Another person called said he was the manager and wanted to know what parts I wanted? He had no idea of my problem. I declined the parts and contacted HO again. I asked them to NOT have the store caLL ME BECAUSE THEY HAD NO CLUE TO WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS OR DID THEY CARE. A third person callled and said he was the manager and what parts was I talking about? I emailed the HO again asking for a replacemnet door they said a director would call me, he never did and we are now 3 weeks with out a resolution of a $390 door. (retail) I did get a call from someone at that point who said the Manufacturer would be at my house sometime monday and he would let me know what time, never did. I called him at 930 monday and he said he would get right back to me, two hours later he called to say the rep would be there at 130. The rep showed at 2pm with a replacement panel, installed it and said "the store just called him on friday" he didnt know why they didnt call when I first reported the defect 3 weeks earlier.. I don't have a problem with something breaking, stuff happens! The lack of response by Lowes Paramus, NJ I think is very dissapointing. I like Lowes and had shopped in several other Lowes but I will not go back to the Paramus Store it is very poorly run. During the kitchen renovation I rented their truck to haul some material home and they gave it to me with an empty gas tank???? Go figure.

+ 0 moreLowe's was great. They were here ten minutes early. They moved furniture for us really carefully in that room. They made sure everything looked great at the end of the job, and they were the nicest group of guys to talk to and work with. We really felt good about using them. I can't say we've used them for other stuff, but for their carpeting work, they are fantastic and we actually do intend to use them again in the near future.
Description of Work: The master bedroom in our 1100 square foot condo needed new carpeting. Lowe's is where we picked out our carpeting and who we used it install it in that one room.

+ -1 moreI have to hand it to Lowe's for the carpeting job they did for us. They showed up about fifteen minutes early and got rid of the old junk that had been in that room. They also cleaned up the scraps and junk that had fallen off of the old carpeting they removed prior to putting down the new stuff, so I liked that a whole lot. A lot of companies probably would have just left the junk and debris there and figured they could cover it up with the new stuff and the customer wouldn't ever know the difference. I would absolutely use them again and I know I saved money using them compared to other companies in this area.
Description of Work: Lowe's installed new carpeting in the master bedroom of our 2200 square foot home. They also removed the old worn carpeting that previously had been in that room. In addition, they put down new carpeting in the master bathroom that attaches to that particular room. They didn't have to remove the carpeting from that room because its just tiled flooring that is in there.

+ -1 moreI CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEM. THEY TOOK CARE OF THINGS AS IF IT WAS THEIR OWN HOME. THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING WHEN THEY WERE DONE. IT WAS JUST A PERFECT JOB.
