The job went very well overall. I know his work from prior jobs he has done for me and I will recommend him highly.

My wife and I contracted with Len's Handyman Service to have them do a total re-model of our kitchen and 3 bathrooms. The process began with a detailed walk-through regarding what we envisioned and Len was able to suggest some very attractive alternatives to what our original thoughts were. We arrived at a remodeling plan that worked for us, picking out materials with a focus on staying within our stated budget. Len gave us a projected start date and began on-time. Once work began, I was impressed by the organized fashion in which they went about the work. Each day, Len and his workers would prepare the work area, ensuring that they were careful to protect the furniture or carpeting in nearby areas and to the outside so as to keep things clean. This was most appreciated. Demolition in the kitchen and bathrooms was done quickly with a minimal amount of dust or debris. Work proceeded and steady progress was made each day. Len made sure to update us with any questions he had or inform us of any issues that arose regarding any unforeseen issues as the remodeling progressed. During the renovation, my wife and I would occasionally come up with additional ideas and Len would promptly come back with his feedback and an additional quote, if necessary. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work performed. There was no sign of cutting corners or doing anything less than what was previously discussed. Any questions we had regarding upcoming scheduling were immediately addressed. I found Len to be pragmatic, thoughtful and always willing to discuss cost concerns, options and design decisions and their impact upon the project aesthetics. Len also arranged for various deliveries (kitchen appliances, granite countertops) at the appropriate times to keep the project moving and on-schedule. Len's Handyman Services asked for scheduled payments as we went through the project and even accepts credit cards. All in all, the finished result of the remodel turned out beautiful, with a high degree of craftsmanship shown throughout. Everything that we expected was realized and we are very happy that we chose Len to do the remodeling. We were also particularly pleased that at no time during the renovation were we surprised by increased costs. Anything that increased our project cost was specifically discussed and decided by me and my wife. We would highly recommend Len's Handyman Service to anyone looking for honest, skilled craftsmen to tackle home renovation projects for their kitchen and bath.

I had previously used Len's Handyman Services to repair multiple items in my home (reviewed under handyman services). I was so happy with the work previously performed that when Len finished repairing the items in my house, I spoke to him about replacing my garage door. When I was ready I called Len, and we arranged for the work to be done on July 16. He arrived on time with his assistant, put up the new door, cleaned up (including taking the old door), and once again, did a fantastic job. A few minutes after he left, I had a problem opening the garage door, so I called him. Within minutes, he returned my call, and promised to return within an hour. He returned, as promised, and fixed the problem within minutes. I will continue to use Len's services if I have any additional items in my house that need repair or replacement. I highly recommend Len!!

This was Len's second trip to my house, the 1st time I was not at home. Len & Paul came into my home with smiles and hand shakes. The thing I liked about Len & Paul they did a walk though and tested all of my doors after pointing out what was wrong they went to work. They were all over my house like worker ((Bees)) and did a Dam good job for me. In total they fixed 13 doors. Thank you ((Len)) and I looked forward to working with your company again!!!!!

Lens called me and asked about the job. He was able to provide the quote over the phone. It was shortly before 4th of July and he was able to get an electrician come over to do the work. The ceiling has "popcorn" texture. I asked another handyman work and he said that he will have to drill a hole in the wall and there will be damage on the ceiling to repair. It will be difficult to do the work. The electrician Lens sent over (a sub-contractor for him) was able to drive a hole in the coat closet right next to the living room and installed the lights. The work was done nicely and only a square hole in the closet that we can not see from outside. I called Lens later and told him that I don't think we need any repair work. Lens has no issue and thank me for the business. As I understand, the cost basic pass through Lens to the electrician. So he did not make a dime in this job. However, he was nice enough to provide the resource I need and did a clean, quality job. I appreciate his help and will use him for future handyman works for the house.

Pleasant handyman experience overall. After chatting with Len (business owner), we agreed that the scope of our work calls for a day rate (8 hrs) pricing rather than per job pricing option. Len's colleague Paul showed up at agreed upon time in the morning, was polite and professional and got straight to work. 8 hours later we crossed off most items from our punch list, and Paul also suggested a few other things that we might want to add to our list for next time. Good experience overall. Would certainly consider using Len's service again. One thing to keep in mind with Len's Handyman service is that you have to discuss the scope of work beforehand with Len to insure that the person actually showing up at your door would have all the requisite tools, supplies, etc. (i.e. you should not expect that the handyman would show up with all the possible common tools (ladder, spackle, etc) in his van unless you explicitly discuss this with Len before the job starts).

I contacted Len via email, and within 5 minutes he emailed back. We arranged for Len to come to the house to give me an estimate. He was prompt and professional. He looked at all of the items and gave me an estimate. I was looking to have the work done about a week later on a Friday, which was really the only available time that I had, and he was very accommodating. He told me that it would be him and one other person (all contractors work for him - they are not sub-contracted, unless you are having a big job done, where he subcontracts plumbers and electricians. Len is more than a handyman - he is a contractor and does kitchens and bathrooms). On the day of the job, he showed up on time. He and Paul did all of the repairs. Both were very nice and very professional. They cleaned up after themselves (I literally did not have any clean-up when they left), and they took all of the garbage with them. Len also bought some of the items that I had no desire or time to get myself. This was such a positive experience! I will definitely use Len again. My sister just mentioned today that she needs some outside caulking done, and I gave her Len's contact info. I have already spoken to him about doing some additional work for me - installing a new garage door, and replacing my front door at some point. I am just afraid that after giving him a positive review, he will have many more customers, and it will be more difficult to hire him. :-) One of the reasons why I had so many small repairs is that I didn't know of anyone to hire. I am new to Angie's list, and the charge for the year was worth it just to have found Len's Handyman Services, as I now have someone that I trust and can depend on for future repairs.

It went very well. The job was done in a very short time. Looks great. I would not hesitate to call Len and recommend him to others.

Len's Handyman Service, LLC He gave me an estimate, he told me to pick out what I liked. Then he told me what I had picked wasn't a good quality, and that I had to have something better. He told me a time, then he will call a few times, and make the time further, and further away. So, I didn't use him. He was very nice, it was just his time wasn't good for me.

He was excellent. He priced the job reasonably, showed up when he said he would and did an outstanding professional job. He precisely fit both doors, cut and fit the trim perfectly, precision nailed it in place, and applied two coats of paint to each. He kept the work area clean, vacuuming up after each step and left no mess when he left. Handymen like Len are keepers like a mechanic, a doctor and a good woman. We plan to use him on our next project, a major bathroom overhaul.
