George and Evan did more than we expected spending at least an extra day so we can get the most finished space out of the attic. They came in the first day went over the design and layout of the system, then over the next four days spent the time installing the system, They do treat your home like it is there own with all of the work going on in the attic and moving of materials not so much as a footprint of dust was left behind. The price was great and George told me from the beginning that the price he gives from the start is the price. They really went above and beyond to get the system tucked into a corner with all of the ducts and lines in the floor, all of which was completed in less than a week for the agreed price. We are going to be adding onto the house in the future and will definitely have Stay Cool back to complete all of the AC / Heating Very honest and reliable, this is our our fifth house and have been through a number of renovations this part has been the smoothest one yet

We had an excellent experience with George and Evan from Stay Cool. As this was our first major household repair as homeowners we were unfamiliar with the costs associated with this type of repair. We called one of the larger outfits and they came and assessed the problem and gave us an estimate, a very high estimate. Something didn't seem right about their numbers so we looked for other companies to get a second opinion and price quote. We looked through AngiesList reviews for a while and came across Stay Cool which seemed to have great reviews and many noted the personal touch and honesty in service. We decided to give George a call and he was able to come over within a couple hours, during a busy labor day weekend to assess the situation and give us an estimate. Immediately he gave us his opinion and gave us an all in price that was not only fair, but was in the neighborhood of half the price that the larger company wanted for the same work. They were able to come to do the installation two days later, were punctual and friendly and did a great job, going above and beyond in many respects to ensure our system was operating up to its full potential and helping to mitigate any future risks of problems. He also took the time to let us know the best way to care for the system and the maintenance schedule, and has checked in after the install to make sure everything is good as well. Overall we couldn't be any happier with the service, the price, and the honesty. I highly recommend this company to everyone in the area, I know for sure there's no reason for us to ever call a different company should we ever need any repairs or maintenance done. The service was excellent. After a week of 90+ degree weather, our Central AC compressor failed. We were fortunate that the weather turned cooler for about a week while we gathered estimates. Not only did George (from Stay Cool) come in with a great price, he re-arranged his schedule so that he could install everything before the heat wave that was due to arrive in just a few days (we spoke on Thursday - he made some changes in his schedule and arrived on Monday to do the job !). Throughout the process he was knowledgeable and helpful. He shared with us several options for installation as well as the location of the new ac compressor (outdoors). While completing his review of the situation, he spent extra time inspecting our current ductwork to ensure everything would be running efficiently. In fact, through his inspection, he discovered that the ductwork for one of our bathrooms was never actually connected during the original construction of the house ! We have never received heat or ac in that bathroom and now that mystery was solved. He willingly came back the next day after the installation and fixed the situation by installing the necessary ductwork for that room (and he only requested that we pay for the additional materials !). Also, just before the installation, he noticed that our current water heater was installed in a location that would prevent access to the motor of the newly installed heating unit. While it was not an expense we had planned on (even though that unit was 13 years old), he helped us to find a way to reduce his cost a little, find a plumber who could immediately install a new water heater, and assisted in beginning the process for eligible rebates. All in all, George was attentive, responsive, and professional. We were very happy with the process and look forward to recommending his work to our friends and neighbors.

Excellent experience. I would recommend Stay Cool (George and Evan) to my relatives and closet friends. Very comfortable in working with George and Evan, they are both honest and reliable. They always arrived on time and were very neat. Installed 2 HVAC systems (2 A/Cs and 2 furnaces). I narrowed my choice to Stay Cool after researching numerous vendors, including reviewing all the A rated companies in Angie’s List. Set up appointments with 4 different vendors. Stay Cool was selected. George stated he and Evan would perform the job like it was his own home and he was right! George and Evan worked exceptionally hard to meet and then surpass my expectations. They went out of their way to make a very difficult positioning of the furnace in the attic exceptionally easy to access; eliminating any need to navigate multiple beams and trusses in accessing the filter. They explained the work that needed to be done, as well as took the time to explain the new thermostats and other equipment. Stay Cool for the price, as compared with the other companies I interviewed, offered the highest quality equipment for the price. Their price point for the equipment and installation was excellent. George told me from the beginning that the price he gives from the start is the final price, no surprises. I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience. I now better understand why George and Evan are rated so high on Angie’s List; because they care about the job they are performing and that their customer’s are not only satisfied but their expectations are surpassed – something that is all too rare in this day an age.

They responded very promptly, during our last heat wave. Which I appreciated very much. They were professional, on time and very, very neat and pleasant, while working.

George is a pro. He wouldn't waste time or any of my money on areas that were in good working condition. He also tuned up the older of my two AC units without trying to sell me on a complete overhaul. When it's time for an upgrade I will certainly give him a call.

George, the owner of Stay Cool Air Conditioning and Heating LLC., called me to schedule an appointment to come out to see my home and to provide me with an estimate to install a Mitsubishi Mini-Split air conditioning system. Right from the start, he was extremely personable. Upon speaking with him and explaining what I needed to have done, he demonstrated how knowledgeable he was as well. He began checking things out, taking measurements, and then he explained my options. Additionally, he offered suggestions that I had not thought of. We finally came to a meeting of the minds, and he provided me with a quote and told me when he would begin the job. On the day of the job, they arrived early. Evan, who worked with George, was both professional and hardworking. They both worked efficiently, and were really neat and tidy. The entire job took about 2 1/2 days and upon completion, I was pleased with the outcome. George walked me through how everything worked and let me know that I could call him at any time if I had additional questions or concerns. The system works wonderfully, and both my husband and I are happy that we decided to go with "Stay Cool Air Conditioning and Heating LLC!"

Stay Cool got right back to me and stopped by for a look. The new Carrier system was installed in one day (needed to replace everything because the old unit used a refrigerant no longer being made) and it was needed a few days later when it got hot. This past week was the true test as it went above 90 degrees for a couple of days - No problems. Owner George Touloumis explains what he plans to do and why. There is a sense of the entire installation having to meet his standards - Even an old-school thermostat got replaced with a new digital unit (no extra charge) because it "wasn't right". He communicates well and is very responsive to calls and texts.

I couldn't have been more satisfied with George and his assistant Evan. I was impressed with the care George took to my hardwood floors when he placed something on the floor before he pulled the ladder down from my attic to protect the floors. Both George and Evan were extremely neat and not a speck of dust or dirt was left behind when they were done. When George left my home, he said he would return when it was hot enough for the air-conditioner to be running, to check the unit making sure all who is working as it should. Without me even calling him, he showed up today with the temperatures being in the high 80s to make sure everything was working as it should and left me extra filters to use as needed. It was a pleasure to see someone have pride in their work. As you can tell, I highly recommend Stay Cool air-conditioning.

It was an amazing work! Evan and George arrived on time, very happy and ready to work. They worked efficiently and were finished in amazing time. I felt bad because they arrived early, worked through lunch and left at the end of the day. They are hard working people and make a great team. I highly recommend their services. We are now happy with our mitsubishi units downstairs and central air upstairs. Its the best option for our layout and now we are enjoying the cool of our units and right on time for the pending heatwave.

George is very knowledgeable in HVAC and treats your home as if it was his own. We had four providers give us estimates for installing central air in our three bedroom ranch home. George came over on a Saturday morning so that we did not need to take time off from work and his estimate was comparable to the other providers. We chose to go with George because we felt he was knowledgeable, courteous, and straightforward. Before he installed the air conditioning, he came over one evening to explain where all the vents and returns would be placed. He also recommended a great electrician, Richie, who was able to add the A/C to our existing panel rather than doing an upgrade - a big cost savings. George took care of all the township permits and installed the entire system in ~2.5 days. He installed the air handler and ducts in our attic, and made sure that we still had some storage space available. We turned the A/C this past weekend for first time and it cooled the house down quickly and quietly. We were very happy with George and would hire him again.

George the owner was courteous and very knowledgeable. He came over the first day looked at the project and had an estimate for me that night. Scheduled the work two days later and had all the work done in one day. He and his worker were totally professional and the work that they did was excellent. My house was clean and my new AC's work perfect. I plan to use Stay Cool for my next AC job next year and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a job to be done right and at the right price. I purchased a Furnace Tune-Up service for $125 over a month ago on February 2, 2017, offered by Stay Cool Air Conditioning And Heating, LLC, through Angie's List. Stay Cool made no attempt to contact me and has not responded to requests for scheduling an appointment, including a voicemail I left with them. I have therefore disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with Angie's List.

Better than excellent. We have found our last HVAC company that we will ever need. Stay Cool.

George had done extensive work on my home's heating system before, but he had not installed the furnace that was malfunctioning (that work was done by a substandard HVAC company in Kenilworth, NJ and was the reason that I had reached out to George several years ago.) He came and found the problem in a few minutes and luckily, it was a minor issue. He let me watch what he was doing and explained everything. He was very honest during the discussion and indicated that he was available all weekend if I had any additional issues. I didn't, but I was very happy that he offered his services during the weekend! This level of service is consistent with my previous experience when he installed an entire heating duct work system and a second furnace in my home, George's service is exceptional and his costs are reasonable. I continue to highly recommend him as the only HVAC technician that I know that really stands by his work and always thinks about his customers!

George was a pleasure and did excellent work. He came out to my house and did a detailed site survey indoors and outside and then discussed the options with me in a straightforward and helpful way. He showed up promptly to do the installation, did a great job, and gave me a full explanation of the system afterwards. The price was great, and my problems are solved. Highly recommend.

Very thorough and courteous!! True professionals

I started by calling PSEG, my service provider. I was told the a/c unit wouldn't work until I replaced the breaker, which was bad. I then called an electrician to come to my house and that took 2 days. Finally a PSEG rep came by and, after looking at my system, told me I needed a new a/c system, as well as a new furnace. He quoted me a price of $11,500 and it was for the second lowest rated a/c system and the least efficient furnace. I contacted other contractors for estimates to make an informed decision. I knew George from Stay Cool and called him and he came by the very next day to give me an estimate for the work he thought I needed done. Well, I couldn't possibly say enough here to tell everyone how happy my wife and I are that we chose Stay Cool for the job. George and Evan were extremely diligent in researching my needs, offered different solutions that others hadn't mentioned and told me they could install everything in about one day. They are both truly knowledgeable and complement each other. They were totally professional about their service and explained all my options in detail. We chose to have a high efficiency a/c installed and also a high efficiency (97%) furnace to go with it. His price for all my high efficiency equipment was considerably lower than what PSEG had quoted for inferior equipment They came prepared to work hard. Their precision on how to place the equipment was above and beyond my understanding, it showed the pride they have in their workmanship. Neat, clean, on time, knowledgeable, extremely competitive pricing all rolled into one company, Stay Cool. I live in Piscataway and he went out of his way to accommodate my needs quickly. I would absolutely recommend George and Stay Cool for your a/c and heating projects. I'll be sure to tell all my friends and neighbors who to call when their a/c or heating system needs repair or replacement.

I cannot give enough accolades about George and Stay Cool. They worked around and were so accommodating to the constant delays of a DIY’er on interior remodeling. He spent the time to determine the best configuration to install a CA system in a house with only window units and baseboard heat, no ducting. His work was clean, neat and clearly demonstrated his experience and pride he takes in the completed project. I would without any hesitation recommend George for someone requiring a Central Air-conditioning System.
