I had AD Home Imp. gut out my entire kitchen and replace all the interior doors in my house. They were very professional and neat. They even took care of a few additional things that were not up to code (according to the inspector) in the kitchen ceiling that were part of the bathroom upstairs and charged me only material cost. I would recommend them anytime. Michael tends to respond quickly all inquiries and the men in the filed are very knowledgeable. The ideas brought aboard by this team made our kitchen look just they way we pictured it. Great job.

BUYERS BEWARE LOOK AT THE BBB COMPALINTS THAT HE HAVE Everything went well but the radiant heating. After two tries of putting in the radiant heat it worked for 2.5 yrs. The 1st one covered the entire floor, but then it broke. Upon redoing it, he only put in a small mat in the middle of the bathroom. Which left the sink and toilet area freezing cold. Now the 2nd one no longer works. When I called him back he said he sold the company to his friend and my warranty had expired. I emailed him oct1st and he told me ??I?m no longer the owner of AD. I sold the company to a friend of mine and I am only a salesman. I know that he does not do that kind of work either!!! Please be aware that the warranty has already expired on your job?? I don?t want people to use this provider and think that he stands behind his work and that his workmanship and or product stand the test of time. After 3 yrs, professionals have told me a radiant floor should still be working. He won?t even come to give me an estimate. Now I have to pay for a new radiant floor heating. I have to rip up my floor, install new radiant heat and have the entire floor retiled for a third time.

The Good: The appointment was set up immediately. A team arrive ahead of schedule and got started immediately. We heard the ladders going up against the house even before the team lead came to introduce himself. They were gone just a quick as they arrived. I assume the work they completed was thorough as we no longer see water splashing over the gutter edge when it rains. The and quot;Could Be Betterand quot; We told him there were some known issues with the soffits and would like a detailed estimate to have that work completed. He explained all that information along with photos would be included in an email back to us within 2-3 days. A week passed and I did not receive it. Once following up, I did get an immediate response however the email did not contain any of the information promised. A missed opportunity to obtain additional jobs.

It was fine. We had miscommunication because I wanted to be here. They said they would call an hour beforehand but they did not. They said they gutters weren't that dirty. My neighbor said they were here for 10 minutes. It was irritating that they didn't call me. The only contact I had with them was through email.

Mike and Darwin of AD Home Improvement did a great job managing the renovation of our kitchen. During the whole process, they provided valuable input that allowed us to have more kitchen walking area, improved counter space and strategic appliance locations. They were very responsive to both email and cellphone. Their crew were very professional. They always cleaned-up the work area after the end of each work day. Overall, we were highly satisfied with the completed work. Highly recommended. We will hire them again in future projects and keep you posted on the consistency of their work.

We were very happy with the work and the service. I told Michael I didn't like surprises and asked him to tell me what to expect in the worst case and what that might cost. After gutting the bathroom a couple of issues came up (one major) as regarded the piping and the framing but he showed me exactly what they were and explained why and so I was satisfied. (Our house was built in 1920). The workers were professional and punctual. The communication and followup was good. They were accommodating and didn't nickel and dime us for every little thing. We will be using them again.

They cleaned the gutters and cleaned off the roof and evaluated the condition of the roof.

gutters were clean to satisfaction, estimate give for flashing on chimney. I have not followed up on this estimate.

Well... they do not work in apartment buildings. But when he arrived he did come up and assess the kitchen giving me some tips. I wish I had known earlier.

It was fine. They did a good job, and I was happy with the service. He didn't force the issue with upselling me products or services I didn't need.

It was a little bit shocking because the end result was okay but we had them do some additional work and then they had to come back and replace the gutter because of the damage when they first did the work. They replaced it, no problem, they didn't give any hassle at all. They weren't making any talk about it, they just came right back and replaced the gutter and everything is fine now. We were just talking about it today, we were really overly excited with them but the end result was good. They made up good on it. We knew there was a problem that need to be fixed. There was parts of it he did really well, as far as we know. It's really kind of complicated because I guess we knew that the flushing needed to be replaced so he replaced it. Then, there was another spot that he was just inspecting and as far as we know that part was done okay. I guess the one question we did have was the gutter, we didn't really think he seemed really experienced with gutters. He took the real part that needed to be replaced instead of just putting it right back the same place. He funneled it a different way and that part, if there was an unresolved issue, that would be it. We never really need him do anything more because it's like we're still working on that. He gave us a quote on doing more work and at this point, I don't know but I don't think we're going to use him. He's really very courteous, he's good to me. He wasn't nasty, unkind or anything. As far as we're concerned, it wasn't too bad. He did fix one part and then there's another part that needed to be fixed. It's not the worse, not the best. He's very, very responsive. We haven't decided if we're going to use him again. If I had to say, I tend to think we might not use him anymore.

There were a couple of snags, but everything was positively responded to and every issue we had was addressed. Our main mode of communication with Michael was via email and he was always quick to respond. We particularly liked that whenever we were either displeased with something or had concerns, Michael quickly responded and did what it took to make sure we were satisfied. All the workers were effective, polite and very hard working. Olvin, who was on the job most of the time is an incredibly hard worker and managed to work at warp speed. In fact, they were working faster than we could finish packing up the kitchen and basement. That doesn't happen very often in construction! The two bedrooms came out perfectly. We opted for ceramic tile with the wood look. They were installed perfectly. The new walls are smooth and sleek, the painting was perfect and the electrical is all up to code and conveniently located. We have an older home and had lathe and plaster on the walls and too few outlets. The basement was a re-finish. We had had water (about 3-4" or so during a bad storm. We also removed an old bath and replaced it with a half-bath. We had industrial carpet and decided that tile would be the best way to go. Michael understood our need to keep costs down while having quality work and an attractive finished product. He promised to save whatever framing could be saved under the damaged sheetrock and only replace what needed to be. He did just that. The couple of extras that needed to be added in the basement were explained as soon as they were discovered. This gave my husband and me time to discuss the need without feeling pressured to provide an answer on the spot. All of the extras made sense and we saw the work being done. The basement really looks like a completely different space and we are happily using it as a family room. No one who had seen it before can believe it's the same space. The kitchen took the longest and we had an issue with the cabinet order, but it was addressed as quickly as possible. In the end, it came out great. The plumbing and electrical portions of the job were done expertly and we're really satisfied with the lighting we have now. Again, having an older home you don't realize how lacking your lighting can be! Michael helped us design a kitchen that made the most use of our limited space and we can't believe all the extra room we feel we now have. As with the basement, we had asked Michael to only replace what had to be with the walls and such because we had re-sheetrocked and insulated the kitchen years ago. He agreed and only replaced what we asked or what had to be. We had an old wall unit AC removed in both the kitchen and one of the bedrooms and they were able to close it up and precisely match the outside stucco! We were so pleased (and admittedly a little scared they wouldn't be able to do it and we'd end up with an eyesore) with the finished product!) We are thinking about re-doing our upstairs bathroom and replace the flooring in the living room. We will very likely use them again, but for now we're happily enjoying our new and improved space. We would definitely recommend using AD Home Improvement.

They were wonderful, super responsive. Did the job exactly as needed and then went above and beyond by checking out a garage which was not part of the package. The service was complete with helpful photos of a place we don't often get to see (the roof).

The project went well. The guys are all very professional and worked hard. They did everything they said they would do. My kitchen came out beautiful.

Unyk came with a crew who were efficient and left no debris behind. They cleaned all the debris left in the gutter (previous homeowner never touched these). They inspected the roof and provided me and my wife with photo documentation of work performed and current conditions. They alerted us to the roof condition which our home inspector had pointed out also. Will definitely use them for future work and I highly recommend them.

They were timely, responsible, and efficient.

We went to several different companies to get a quote on a bathroom remodel but this company gave the best price by far. They were very responsive with anything and everything. Emails were answered almost instantly, several points of contacts were given to us to ask any questions we needed and to help with any problems that came up, and they cleaned up after themselves every time they did work. They worked with us with a flexible schedule even when there were delays because of material we had to order arriving slowly. Overall they were great.

Mike (the owner) is very knowledgeable and a true professional. He was always very quick to return a call or e-mail. The work was done in a timely fashion, finishing at the estimated time. There was virtually no down time, only awaiting inspections. All the workers conducted themselves in an appropriate, professional manner, each skilled in their various roles. If a problem occurred -- and there were very few -- it was addressed and resolved without delay. The bathroom looks great! The price was very fair.

I recently had my bathroom rebuilt by AD Home Improvements. My overall experience in working with this company was very good and the outcome was a beautiful new bathroom. Mike is very professional, knowledgeable and efficient to work with and he did a great job in re configuring the bathroom layout to optimize a small space. He also provides his clients with a complete list of materials needed and his rates are very fair. His sub-contractors and craftsmen, including the plumber, carpenter and tile installer were all very skilled and nice people to work with. His carpenter built a lovely vanity base for the bathroom. Overall, the Project Manager ensured attention to detail and they cleaned up the work site each day. A few problems occurred during the project which I will mention: Some of the plumbing parts purchased were apparently faulty and we had to spend a lot of time figuring out what was needed and getting replacement parts. Since I had a ?time is of the essence? clause in the contract, this delay caused the project to run over time but no remedy was ever offered. Mike even demanded that I pay for the majority of the project before the sink was completely installed and functional which I found really unprofessional. I think if a plumber had been more involved and present, (instead of the PM), the parts problems could have been solved more quickly and the project completed on time. Secondly, the bathroom mirror was not installed properly at first as the installer did not read the instructions. It was eventually re-installed correctly but the initial mistake left a small crack in the base of the mirror which is a bit annoying. The bathroom turned out very nice in the end but there were some bumps along the way.

Since the moment I contact the provider it was very good experience, they explain with details how the job will go. They did exactly what they said they will do, and on the days they said. All the work was perform on the site as they said It will be and on the time they said. They were very professional from the beginning until the day they finish the job. They provided a very specific and detailed estimated and a good affordable price. They provided a very good service and I'm very happy with the final product. My house look nicer and beautiful. I'll defenidly recommend them any time and I'll use them again for future projects

Everything went as planned, they were professional, courteous, prompt and organized. They left everything looking great!

I was looking for a company that did siding and roofing for my two-family house in Passaic, New Jersey. After comparing various local companies, Unyk Home Design was by far the cheapest in the area. It was easy to speak with someone about getting a quote for the job I wanted. They were very polite and broke every detail down on how long and how much the project the project would cost. They were most efficient (time wise) in getting a quote for me. Once the project started, it took a total of 5 days with the exception that there was a snow storm in between. However, snow storm and all, they were able to maintain top speed on completing the job at hand. I was very pleased with their customer service, work ethics, and prices. I will definitely use them again for any other home improvement projects in the future and would recommend them to anyone who needs home improvement.

Michael is very professional, and his price is right. They do very good work, and he's always responsive. He calls me back immediately when I have questions or problems. They started and ended on time as promised. They clean up well and they always leave the site beautiful.

I called three companies to get quotes for all the work I need to have done. A D Home Improvements was one of two that did not bother to return a call. Its been six days and I doubt Ill get a call back. It would have been nice to get a "Thanks for your call, but we are very very busy and cannot take another project until xxx date." Or something similar.

I am in the process now. We just got the permit and are going to be starting the project next week. The quoted price is about $16,500, but we also will have some additional charges. He is very responsive to our questions, gave us a fair price and really seemed to know what he was doing. He got the permit for us in a reasonable amount of time. He has been very helpful in responding to our emails because we are purchasing a lot of items that are very detailed so we really need to be sure we get it right, for example, windows. He also had a very nice discount that we got from Pella Windows through him. He passed that on to us. I think it is a fair price, but what I like is that he passes along Pella discounts. He is very professional and his business is presented in a very professional manner. He knows code and actually informed us about a lot of important matters before we hired him while he was giving his estimates. That is very important, obviously.
