Description of Work: AD Home Improvement Staff was very professional in their work. Both I and my wife are extremely happy with our bathroom remodeling work. As with any construction, there were minor hiccups with our bathroom remodeling but Mike (Owner) and his staff were diligent and responsive and fixed everything to our satisfaction. | |During our research on Angies List, we solicted bids from various contractors. AD was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but delivered a quality product.

Description of Work: Gutted the shower walls and base. Replaced shower valves with new valves provided by customer. Installed cement board in shower area for new shower base. Installed porcelain tiles provided by customer to install on shower wall up to the ceiling. Painted exterior shower walls only. installed the new shower door provide by customer. The contractors cleaned up after the work.

Description of Work: AD Home Improvements: Professional, on time, quality workmanship. I have owned my home for 30 years and have a long list of botched or disappointing work by contractors who bid low and cut corners. AD may not be the cheapest, but they are certainly not the most expensive either. Another Angie's List reviewer of AD said it perfectly: "quality and value are not often mentioned together" | |Our project involved gutting and refinishing a large laundry/utility room in a large 1903 house (ten bedrooms, 9 fireplaces). Electric, plumbing, and heating projects over the years resulted in a mishmash of various aged ducting, wiring and pipes all of which needed to be updated to code and moved within new walls and ceiling. In addition, water had entered down the basement stairs and rotted out the wooden floor. This was not an easy job. | |Mike Ponce, the owner/manager evaluated the situation and came up with recommended solutions, including replacing the rotten wood floor by raising the concrete floor below it with another 8" of concrete and leaving a channel around the foundation for drainage - a "French drain" in reverse ( It works flawlessly). Other potential project problems and requirements were discussed in detail and a formal contract was drawn up. AD work matched or exceeded all contract specifications including completion time. The work area was cleaned up each day and refuse carted away in a timely manner. I received emails in the evening from the project manager alerting me to the following day's work schedule. All emails and phone calls to Mike, personally, were responded to expeditiously. I even got calls from the AD office alerting me to city inspector's intended appointment times. | |A word about the structure of the company. This is not a small outfit. Mike has built an operation that consists of teams or individuals with their own designated job responsibilities: demolition, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, sheet rock, etc., may be done by different individuals depending on their skills and experience. The newest AD employee that I met had three years with the company. The project manager, who made a point of introducing himself to me, oversaw the schedules, work quality and sent the email progress updates. Mike was always available if needed. | |Everyone associated with AD seemed proud of their work and loyal to their company. I have not seen this level of work ethic and professionalism in a long time. Perhaps this is due to the fact that all workers are from Central and South America. "AD" stands for "American Dream". These folks are American by choice and eager to prove themselves. AD Home Improvements has my unqualified recommendation. |

Description of Work: The sales rep did come to my home as requested and took the time to measure and take information. I was told that I would receive a quote in 2-3 days but did not receive one. After 6 days out I called the representative and asked for the quote. I got several excuses and was told that a portion of my project would have to wait until after the new year. I think that me waiting for a quote longer than promised and having to call for an update only to receive excuses was unacceptable. I told the representative that perhaps I should seek another source for the work and me noted that maybe I should...so I did.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate to improve my sun room. The contractor responded promptly and showed up on time on the scheduled date of 6/4. I was promised an estimate by Friday. Then nothing. I did not get any estimate. I called and I was told the contractor is on vacation. I still did not get an estimate. So why show up if you won't even do the estimate.

Description of Work: They cleaned and inspected my gutters and roof and gave me a report of the condition of my roof with recommendations for what would improve its condition. They were very polite, quick, and thorough.

Description of Work: my bathroom was renovated. staff was professional,punctual and polite. I am please with the results. The "B" rating was due to the fact of language barrier between home owner and workers.

Description of Work: had a complete bathroom remodel. michael ponce's crew was just wonderful. completed on time (actually a couple of days early), came in on budget, no problem at all. any time i had a question, they would answer in detail and they always took the time to clean up at the end of the day! just last year we had them come back to put insulation in the attic and put in a new front porch complete with railings. i would not even think of using anyone else to work on our home. you can always trust ad home improvement!!!!
