Five Star Remodeling, Inc.

We hired Five Star Remodeling to gut and remodel our full bathroom in late 2019 and we are STILL dealing with fallout from their shoddy work a year and a half later. We initially chose Five Star because their lead salesman indicated they could assist with design, but the **design** services consisted of showing us stock photos of fixtures that would not actually fit in our bathroom. Once we sourced and ordered our own fixtures, Five Star installed several of them damaged or crooked, which prolonged the entire renovation while we were left without a working tub/shower. Because the floor tiles were installed incorrectly, our floor is uneven in height and the grout cracked almost immediately. Our toilet also began leaking through the floor and our downstairs ceiling, which our longtime plumber determined was due to an improper install of the drain pipe (urine/fecal matter was collecting underneath the floor). We luckily repaired the issue before it caused enough damage to necessitate a full second remodel, but we are left having spent a large amount of money on a renovation with numerous aesthetic and functional defects. We absolutely would NOT recommend Five Star and hope to save other homeowners from our experience.

Cesar, the workman was also on time, did a wonderful job, very clean and very accommodating. The job was done in less than three days and we werenâ  t inconvenienced at all. Thank you Five Star and Mr Cesar.

The communication between staff members-or lack thereof- for our project was extremely frustrating. Each staff member told us something different, then was followed by them throwing their co-worker under the bus. It was very unsettling as a client. After the team **finished** our project, I noticed there were several spots missing grout in our floor and shower. When I called the foreman to see when the crew can come back to finish-he pretended to not know who I was. This was after talking on a weekly, sometimes daily basis over the course of 3 months. The contractors needed to redo work 3 times over again because they kept missing places.-I am not sure if they are over booking themselves during covid or what. But is our bathroom complete now-yes.

The team from 5-Star did a fantastic job! They were safe; maintained a clean job site and were superb craftsmen!

The work was done after there was some relief from Covid 19. They worked with me to get everything I wanted done and the bathroom is beautiful. And most important all safety measures were taken during Covid 19. I am extremely happy with my new bathroom and would recommend them to family and friends who need work done in their homes.

They need to stay at one job and finish. They gutted my bathroom and did a little work for three days then they were gone. For a few days. Then they came back and they finished. I also had my bedroom gutted and One of the closet doors in my bedroom was warped and the wood veneer was separating. This was supposed to be a solid wood door. The guy came back and replaced it with the same style door(not solid wood). The grout around two of the tiles in the tub area was not hardening. So I called and they came back and fixed it. It wasnâ t hardening because it was not grout it was caulk. The two tiles in question were sticking out about a half inch and the guy that came to fix it used caulk instead of grout. I know this because they gave me the grout and I asked him if he needed the grout and he said no. I thought maybe he had more grout with him but instead he used caulk. In the bedroom that came out great accept the door but that was replaced. When they were finished in the bedroom, my hard wood floors were covered with paint and spackle. It took me two weeks to get it all off the floors. I think they thought I was going to put carpet down. Even if I was going to put carpet down they should have had drop clothes down.

Great remodel done on our bathroom. Replaced old jacuzzi tub with modern, gorgeous rain shower with pebble flooring and sleek grey wall tile. Painted the bathroom too! Work was completed to the schedule we requested and the team was great to work with, especially Five Star Remodeling Inc and team. Would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.
