Description of Work: Install cabinets and shelving in utility room and closet system in hall coat closet. The installation went great. The installer was beyond professional. He was so careful and cleaned up so good that I didn't have to do anything and I am a perfectionist.

Description of Work: I called Closets by Design and they sent a wonderful young women who sat with me and asked me what my needs were. Beth was very professional and really knew her stuff. When the installer came he re measured before the installation and it was a perfect fit. Steve was the installer and also did a fabulous job. I was happy with both the designer and the installer. I am extremely happy with my closet.

Description of Work: Organized three closets with white shelving

Description of Work: Installed built in cabinets in our family room, with a pull out desk. "a very simple job" according to their sales person, and easy to finish in our timescale (with the exception of one small piece) but ultimately everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. | |Poorly spec'd out, measured incorrectly, and needed multiple attempts to get right. Entire days of work where nothing had changed, and the job site being left dirty, and dangerous (a nail filled baseboard ripped off and left out where our toddler could reach it, holes in the wall, damage to the paintowrk). No communication about delays, and when confronted, telling us that it was really important to them, and they'd be back in a week to fix it. |On one occasion we had their rep tell us she had just spoken to the installation team ad it would only take them 10 minutes to finish off the job, when we were in the room with the team and there had been no such call (and it would take a further 3 visits, and multiple phone calls to put right). | |The installers were actually great guys, and very polite, the business owner also was willing to discuss the issues, but everything boiled down to a sales person who did not do their job correctly, measured and spec'd the job incorrectly, continually just made things up about how long the job would take, and ultimately cost her own company a lot of time and money with re-doing things, not to mention the continued disruption the 6 week late completion of this 'simple project' took. | |A simple adage from wood work shop at school "measure twice, cut once" instead they "measured once, cut 6 times" | | |

Description of Work: We requested to install a new and affordable closet set with double hangs and shelves for our master bedroom walk-in closet. | |Lauren Kramer, the designer provided a unique design for the simple and practical needs to optimize the space and budget we had for our walk-in closet. She was responsive to the feedback and changes we wanted in her design and she was accessible when needed. | |Our overall rating is a "B" instead of an "A" is due the re-work needed since the installation contractor did not install accurately the design. After sharing our feedback to our designer on the first installation, they came back and still missed out 2 items that need to be corrected. They now need to come back to our place for a 3rd time to complete the project. This re-work and inconvenience could have been avoided if they executed the installment right the first time.
