Sorry for the misunderstanding .Custom window treatment products take approximately 4 to 8 weeks they are custom-made. They are not ready-made office shelf. We order shades immediately upon deposit when we receive the shades from the manufacturer we install them within one week of receiving them. As far as your appointment time goes, our guys are running early asked if that would be OK. Customer agreed at the time we said we could return at the schedule appointment if need be. We explained to the customer that Our insurance does not allow us to work without work shoes. However, we did put on shoe covers which is another common practice. We do it all the time. Never have a problem with it. We also made a repair to one of her shades why were in her house at no charge

I ordered four window shades in 4th of May 2011 and they told me it takes 3weeks (even on the paper says 3 weeks). After they took money (Half of the estimate cost) and 3 weeks later, I did not hear anything from them so I called to get the status update. They said the shades were not ready and they would call me when they are ready. I asked if they could give me estimate time, they said they couldn't. Also I said it is after 3 weeks you estimated, I thought I would receive phone call from shop if they could not deliver shades to my house, then they said 'Why I need to call you when I have nothing to tell you'. Very NOT nice to treat customer.I finally got window shades in my house at 21st of June, which is about 7 weeks later. There were no apologies at all. And the guys who came for installation were not friendly and not happy to take their shoes off on my white carpets.They came back to install the one they have fixed (one of the window treatments were not new order, just fix), appointment time was 12 to 1, but they came in 10:30. I said the appointment time is 12 to 1, the they said 'I don't know, it normally in the morning'. It was good I was in the house, but they are not professional at all
Description of Work: I do NOT recommend to use this company. They are so non professional. I ordered four Comfortex new window shades and one fix. Total cost was more than I have expected.

First, all our jobs are custom made. At the point of sale we do inform the customer that sometimes the fabric can be on back order (which her fabric was). She was informed of this backorder. We then generally call the customer a week ahead to schedule an appointment for installation. As far as not removing our shoes, we can not remove our shoes due to insurance (use of ladders is not recommended in socks) We do however, wear protective booties over our shoes. Concerning our scheduling, we give our customers a one - two hour window for installation. Sometimes we are earlier and sometimes we have been late (which we will call the customer). Not realizing we were early Once we arrived we did ask the customer if it was ok to do the installation. She agreed. If she wanted us to wait we would have and have installed it at her proper time. Finally, I believe we did a professional job and were very kind to her. For example, we fixed one of her existing shades (not from us) and moved other shades in the house to compensate for the broken shade in her living room. There was no profit for us in doing this. As a company we are sorry the customer is not happy but we do stand by our professionalism and reputation. We have been in business for 25 years and we have many great reviews else where (such as servicemagic.) Again we are sorry she was not pleased. We will take her comments and try to continue to improve as a company.
