All was fine. We received drawings and an estimate. The 48,000 was for the kitchen and 25,0000 for the bathroom. We were not quite ready to commit so we will revisit the project in the future.

Richard was very professional and did nice 3d drawings and presentation. Came up with some good ideas and nice plans Ended up going with another company but it was a toss up would bring back for future quotes

It went well. They came out and talked to me about my kitchen.

On time, very personable, easy to move around house while he worked. Made suggestions, overall workmanship. Excellent. very satisfied with end results.

Good service and quality work..this is the second time using Skydell and will probably use them again. Richard and his staff are professional all the work is well done.

I was impressed that Richard helped me pick out the tile and tub, toilet and fixtures. All the sub-contractors were great. Since this is my only bathroom, they made sure that the toilet was put back every night when they were done.

Saw Skydell Contracting booth at Garden State Home Show in early Sept at Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset. Richard, owner of company, came to give estimate for bathroom remodel. I wanted to remodel strictly for resale value and to fix a problem with the shower problem. Richard was prompt, friendly, and actually tried to talk himself out of the job. He gave different options (strictly repair, minor renovation, complete gutting) according to my budget restrictions. He was honest, knowledgeable, and most of all, realistic! Whatever information I didn't get from him the day of the estimate I could either get on his website or he answered almost immediately in e-mails. Ultimately, I did not use him, but only because I had some issues that necessitated me putting off the bathroom repair/ renovation. I hope to use him in the future.

All subs were on time, neat, courteous & did excellent work.

They did a terrific and highly professional job. We got consultations on our choices of materials and designs when we needed them, and Skydell went with our wishes when we were sure of what we wanted. There was a wide variety of cabinet styles, tiles, countertops, etc. available. The subcontracted craftsmen (carpenter, plumber, electrician, and tile installer) were all highly competent, professional, and courteous. They took great pains to minimize their impact on our lives during the work. The rooms were sealed off with plastic during demolition and any other dusty work, and the site was cleaned every day before the workmen left. They were also the low bidder of the three contractors we got estimates from. I recommend them highly.

They provided the design help. The start and finish dates were committed to and met. The work was done as promised and to our satisfaction. This is our third renovation project with Skydell Contracting Inc.

The meeting was good and they were professional. We didn't proveed with the project. The project wasn't in our budget so we dropped it.

We didn’t pick anyone else, we just ended up not doing the work. Their follow up was excellent and they were super professional.

As least as far as the estimate goes, they were very professional and courteous, but we didn't actually engage them to perform any work. Ultimately we decided to use a different vendor whose estimate was lower.

The service went very well. All of the subcontractor were very dedicated to making me happy.

They were nice and knowledgeable. I didn't contract with them but I may go back to them if the other person doesn't get moving on the work.

The quality of the work was satisfactory, but the oprocess of getting there and the cost was a major problem, When we signed the contract and paid the deposit, it seemed as though we were no longer a priority and they moved on to other jobs. This resulted in, what should ahve been a two or three week jobe taking three mointh because they fit us in whenever they had time. In addition, at every turn there seemed to be an additional cost for things that should have been included in the original price such as when they wanted to install a wall cabinet off center because they didn't want to do the additrional work needed to center it. When we insisted on the cabinent being centered over the sink, they charged us extra. In addition, the weight dumpster that they parked in our drivaeway in the friont of our home (for 3 mionths, mind you) damaged our driveway and we had to fiight with them to pay to repair it. All in all, a horrible experience.

There was a little problem in that they had put gutters up, but somehow the screws weren’t in properly. We had a few leaks. We had to have our roofers come out to fix the problem. They cleaned up. Everything was done neat. They didn’t destroy anything. They showed up on time.

I am making some comparisons and plan to touch base with them again since their estimate is higher than all the others.

Their service was great. They are top of the line. When you call they are there, they return calls, and they show up when they should. They are a little more costly than others, but I think their service is worth it.

In order to get stuff done we had to be very stern. It took them forever to do the work. He did do it, but it was a difficult process.

They were very good. I was very pleased with the dealings that I have had with them. We have also called them about another painting and spackling project and they do not do that type of work, but they were able to recommend someone else for me.

We were very pleased with the work they did and the cost. The technician explained everything and asked us questions so that he knew exactly what to do.
