A mess with $2000 bill. Adam from NorthEast power dry came to look at the water damage situation. I am living in this newly constructed house since past 8 years and this was a first ever issue I have ever had. He asks me for my home insurance policy, looks at it and assures that the policy will cover the expense. He also calls the insurance company on our behalf and creates a claim, talks to the insurance reviewer separately and confirms me that everything will be covered in insurance. I don’t have to pay anything other than $500 deductible. He starts with his team’s work in my house and gives me a bill but again states that this will go through the insurance so I don’t have to pay. Now the insurance has denied the claim and I have been chased by the company for payment stating that I signed the contract. But I signed the contract because he assured over and over that I don’t have to pay it. What am I supposed to do in this case? This company is a big cheater. I will never recommend and do as much negative publicity as I can. So frustrating experience of my life.

It all went well. the area was dried out in 3 days and the insurance company paid for it all. The phone rep and the sales rep were very nice and courteous.

With my expirence with powerdry has been very negative. My wife and I was mislead into believing that some service was going to but performed but wasn’t. Our house had a very small leak in the ceiling and this is what they claimed. 1) we were hesitant on doing the power dry. We were considering doing it when the roofer would come because if it rained again, we would be back at square one again. She said not to worry. They will put plastic on the roof to make sure ward would not go through. When the repair man came, he said no we don’t do that because they are not insured for it 2) when they cut open the drywall to see the inside, they would be able to figure out where the leak was coming from. When the repairman came he said, no he doesn’t know where it came from and don’t know why the rep claimed that again. 3) when the cut the drywall, after they were done he reads a quote saying they are not responsible to replace Sheetrock or drywall. I repeat after they cut quite the noticeable hole about 6 inch1 foot wide.in our ceiling. I said wait there’s a drywall quote. He says it for removal. 4) we were also charged for debris removal for close $300. They only threw away the piece of drywall and maybe 10 garbage bags that were used to cover the floor. That’s money well spent. 5) they were going to offer 10% off for cash payment. We saw nothing. I have no complaints to the repairman, but the lady who came by for the estimate must have been working on commission or something. She really took advantage of my wife and i. Telling us a bunch of things and not having it happen is not a way to conduct business. When the 3 roofers came by and saw what they did, they were either laughing or shocked. one said man I’m in the wrong business.

They visited my home, walked through the house, looking for evidence of water, and found none. He suggested waiting because mildew cannot grow without water. He told me the alternative would be a mildew test that would cost a couple hundred dollars and said he's hate to see me spend that much money unless there was a likely problem. Very professional - obviously not trying to just get me to pay for their services but instead offered helpful advice. Two days later the smell disappeared and has not returned.

Our plumber (Copperhead - also highly recommend!) told me to call NE Power Dry after our basement flooded due to hot water heater. After cleaning up the water and drying as much as we could ourselves the night before, I called and explained our emergency. Rebecca was very friendly and said they should definitely came out and they were there within 3 hours of my call. Nikko, our project manager, was very informative and put our minds at ease. When he was done, the crew came out, led by Jeiner. They installed 25+ fans and drying machines in the basement and into the walls during 6 hours, staying until 1am to get the job done. The equipment stayed for 3.5 days. The entire team was in touch with us throughout the process, with visits throughout. Now, our basement is dry and we do not have any mold concerns. Additionally they work directly with the insurance company, so literally all I had to do was file my claim and the rest was taken care of! Would not even consider another company!!! Thanks Northeast Power Dry!

Called Northeast Power Dry an hour after the water damage to my basement stopped. They came in an hour later (10pm) which then their team started to remove the water at (11pm) that night. I worked with Mark throughout the process and he blew me away with his skill of resolving my water damage quickly. I highly recommend their service!

No one should have to go through what our family did last week, but if the worst occurs thank heaven for these folk at North East Power Dry. The initial response by Ron the rep and estimator was almost instantaneous -- he assessed the extent of the spill, dispatched the proper team and started the claim resolution process with our home owners insurance. The crew was professional, efficient, and completely thorough, working seamlessly with our plumbing contractor. Every person we spoke to was courteous and well-used to dealing with customers "at their worst" who would rather they did not need to become customers! The home was left immaculate, and downtime [i.e hotel time] was kept to a minimum. This is one of the most professional businesses I've ever worked with, and really deserve a shout out.

I accidentally threw away a rug that was in the basement. They found it, and cleaned it, and returned it to us. At one point, they said they could not find it but the owner offered to pay me for it. It was my mistake, and they were willing to pay for it. They definitely went the extra mile.
Description of Work: We had 4 inches of flooding and they came in and dried it. They set the price first. It took some days more and they did not continue to charge. They also did a mold check.

They came and cleaned it up! They tore the floor up, cleaned up the mess and disinfected everything and even left some equipment for everything to thoroughly dry. They even hauled the old, contaminated flooring away. They were great! they called back promptly and came over. They came over a second time to go over questions. They handled everything with my insurance promptly. They were very polite and very professional. This was the first time I've used them and I would hire them again.
Description of Work: We used them for water extraction in our home because we had a defective pipe that lead to the sewer line, so we got water, mold and some really nasty stuff under the flooring.
