What happened was that the workers taped the plastic directly to my wallpaper on the upstairs walls, tearing it from the walls when they removed it; the tape additionally tore the paint from the trim. The company said they were not responsible for any damage. The "spray painting" that was done in the basement seemed to have been executed by persons working under the influence...my brand new sump pump was completely painted over and in fact the instructions were painted over adhearing to the wall. My kitchen stool was taken to the basement and used for whatever reason and it too was "repainted" along with all the hardware; fixtures and anything withing visual sight. Additionally, somehow the last step of my basement staircase was broken in the midst of the work. Remnants of carpeting that were not removed were left in place with paint. IN other words, it was one of the worst jobs I have ever seen in the 25 years I have worked in real estate myself. The company did come back and attempted to remove the paint from the sump pump; the fixtures; etc. but I was left paying myself $300 to have a wall paper hanger attempt to cut out pieces of the small remaining piece of paper I still had to glue onto my wall paper in the torn areas because - yes you guessed it - the wall paper was no longer in production and Air Technology refused to replace it. They believe that any damage they ADDITIONALLY cause to a home, is not their responsibility. I ended up not paying the final installment for the work - but it does not make up for the shoddy work performed and what I had to do to remediate myself. HORRIBLE experience - terrible work that was not properly supervised. Be warned and beware.
