Sean arrived on time and I asked him if we could reschedule due to snow. He had no problem with retiring the next day at the same time. He showed me the cap that he purchased before leaving. He returned next day on time and installed cap . He wore a mask and was ver pleasant indicating if there were any issues to let him know.

Sean was referred by stove installer. He contacted us and came out to see the job within the same day. He had great ideas, pictures and samples to choose from. Work was scheduled and completed on time. The final product exceeded our expectations. We now have a great fireplace within a week that my wife and I thought was going to take months. And yes the price was fair.

Sean gave us a much better estimate than anyone else to fix our chimney and install a cap. When the work ended up being more than he had anticipated, he still stuck by his original estimate. Great work and he was able to squeeze us in within a couple of weeks of us first calling him. Highly recommend!

I am very pleased with the finished project and quality of work Sean provided. The chimney was leaking during rainstorms. Sean has replaced the chimney cap and sealed the exterior bricks. The chimney no longer leaks. We are so pleased with this outcome, we have Sean scheduled to do an extensive build-out of an existing fireplace for a pellet stove insert. I would recommend Sean for any masonry project. He provides quality work, is great with quick responses, and always on time.

When the weather did not cooperate, they established an alternative date they would be returning to complete the project. Sean is amazing, a true tradesman. Ethical, knowledgeable and responsive. He came out same day to inspect. He is a mason not a chimney sweep. I have used Hoyt Masonry for so many aspects of my home in Newburyport, MA. They are the best. Sean is very responsive and super communicative. Their prices are fair (lower than any other quotes), they are dependable, loyal, and ethical. I have had Hoyt Masonry waterproof my basement, put gorgeous backyard pavers down in my backyard, had my cobble stone driveway secured with concrete and my front brick steps fixed. They were able to fix broken bricks in the middle of the steps, and it looks completely restored â amazing. Anthony was such a hard worker.
