Description of Work: They measured, manufactured and installed roll out cupboards in a huge, endless master bath closet. All went well except one shelf was way too high for us to see into. When the owner called to find out how it went, I mentioned this. He sent the installer back to rearrange the drawers to make it work better. The installer was extremely gracious about redoing some of the work. He was very friendly and helpful. The pullouts are wonderful and perfect. The issue was that the closet was not a standard size and behind a door. The cost seemed like a lot but we didn't find another company to bid on the job after finding out the size was not standard. It was costly but we really have a system that works. The company was absolutely super to work with and they have an excellent product. |

Description of Work: They were VERY expensive, appeared they just raised their prices to cover the $250 discount as they had no written prices and the salesman seemed to make prices up as he went along. The installer complained the entire time that the salesman screwed everything up and he would have re measure everything and he would have to fix the mistakes. Then the installer had to come out several more times to measure again and several times to actually install -- VERY inconvenient to have to let him in that many times. Then I get a call saying he forgot to collect an additional $900. I told him I thought we had paid in full. Then the franchise owner called stating that we still owed money, I asked for a copy of the contract that we signed and he emailed an unsigned contract but assures me that it is the same as the one that I signed.we know this product is about 3 times more expensive than their competitors but decided if they are recommended by Angie's list that maybe they are worth it. |I would never use or reccomend this company to anyone. |Very disappointing. |

Description of Work: Installed 2 glide out shelves in one cupboard. These shelves have a life-time guarantee but still feel price is excessive. I would like to do more cupboards--maybe if I get another Angie deal--otherwise not!

Description of Work: ShelfGenie put in pull out shelves in my small pantry. The quality is very good and the guy who installed it was punctual and professional however, it was very costly. I don't think I'll go this route again.

+ 2 moreWe heard about Shelfgenie from a friend who used them in her kitchen. We called the 800 number and heard back from Larry the same day. We set up an appointment with Larry and one of his designers. Before our appointment they told us to leave our pantry as it was since they wanted to see how we used the space. After looking at our miserable pantry and discussing our different options we came up with a design for our pantry. They ordered the shelves which arrived three weeks later and our installation was done within two days of them arriving. I can honestly say I think we threw away more then we saved from our pantry and I'm so glad I will never go through that again. The shelves we had in our old pantry were deep and we couldn't reach anything in the back and hardly knew what was back there. Not only do we have more useable space for all of our food, we also know exactly what we have because we can actually see it when we pull out the shelves! Larry was very knowledgeable about his product, prompt with his service and installation and very professional. My mom is so jealous she can't wait to have some of the shelves installed in her kitchen. We will definitely use Shelfgenie again; it's a great alternative to replacing our existing cabinets.
Description of Work: Converted our old dark pantry into an actual usable space. We had 6 extending shelves installed in our pantry that at least doubled our useable space.

+ -1 moreAndrew Kerwin came out to give me an estimate on converting my linen closet shelves into "pull out shelves". I was impressed with the product, however the estimate I felt was a little high. I asked for a week to think about it. After thinking for a few days, I decided I wanted to go ahead and get it done (even though the price was higher than I expected). However, after leaving 2 messages for him, and waiting a week for him to get back to me...he never called back...he still hasn't. I ended up hiring someone else to do the job.
