Groundworks

The crew of William, May and Nay completed the encapsulation of our older home (built in 1925) crawlspace. They understood the importance of doing a good job and paying attention to detail. Thank you!

Shane Hughes came out to give me a bid on my driveway that was sinking and cracking. He was very thorough in his explanation of the company and what work would be done to fix my driveway. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The driveway now looks perfect! There was a minor billing issue, but after calling Shane and explaining it to him, the problem was fixed within minutes. I would highly recommend this company. A+ all the way!

I've had work done by their largest competitor as well. Groundworks was less expensive so I gave them a try. I had them install anchors in two retaining walls. I had an issue with one of the anchors and they made several visits to remedy it and followed-up repeatedly to schedule and coordinate timing. Top rate outfit, IMHO.

The project was top notch. I appreciated the phone calls to let me know the crew was on their way. The crew worked hard to complete the project ahead of schedule. The lead walked us through the progression prior to lunch break and at the end of their shift to assure we were satisfied with the work. They only recommend what is absolutely necessary for repair and protection. Groundworks is highly reasonable. My husband and I highly recommend them.

Groundworksâ listened to our input and throughly evaluated the requirements to support the basement walls and prevent water from coming in. They were on time and communicated clearly and timely. The Foreman did an evaluation and recommended a couple changes to the plan that I agreed with and weâ re beneficial. The 3 workers knew what they were doing and worked hard. I appreciate the manner they communicated and they were very friendly. Overall, they did a great job!

Warren came to our residence and did the inspection. I was very pleased with the professional and experienced manor in which he conducted the inspection. Once he identified the problem he advised us of our multiple options. There was no attempt to sell us anything only to provide us with information and solutions based on Warren's knowledge and experience. He is an honest and dedicated professional. Once a solution was determined an appointment was made to ensure service in a timely manner. On the agreed upon date I was contacted by Jon Schovanec notifying me in was at my residence ready to fix our foundational problem. Jon and his crew were not only extremely professional and thorough they were all very pleasant to converse with and were willing to take the time to explain every aspect of the job. I learned more about the foundation of our house in an hour with Jon than I did in 20 years of living there. When the job was completed Jon and his crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up. Leaving the area much cleaner than they found it. The foundation is now stable and even looks better thanks to Jon and the crew. If we ever have issues with our foundation again Groundworks will be my first and only call. Everyone that I had contact with from the Groundworks organization was dedicated, professional, friendly and downright friendly. I can only speak regarding Warren, Jon, and his crew, but the way I see it they are worth every penny and probably deserve a raise. They do very good work at a reasonable price.

My project was 9 anchors to be installed in a 1955 house at the bottom of a steep hill. We have brought in 40 truckloads of dirt-well tamped and terraced the yard with limestone walls and 4 french drains. Should have done the anchors first but did not so much of the delicate landscaping had to be preserved on top of it all to complicate matters. I was nervous but the project went so beautifully and they compromised with me to maintain the character of the house. Everyone worked hard all day. Bill Bothwell was a gem and totally understood all of my concerns. He needs a raise in pay. Chris Warren who initially evaluated the project day one was great, too. He answered all of my questions even days later as I had time to think out how this was all going to effect future projects that will be happening like an addition. My yard is nice and neat and tidy-you would not know major construction happened. I am a very picky person and my landscape is happy, too. The team is great! I cannot applaud them enough! The price was super fair!
