CORNERSTONE REMODELING

Absolutely fantastic. Working with Aaron, Ron and Dana was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Aaron was reachable for any questions and response time was great. The work done by Ron and Dana was top notch. They took their time, answered my questions, were prompt, courteous, professional, and took great pride in their work.. Everyday they cleaned up before leaving, really cleaned up not just a cursory go over. On the last day they made sure everything was back in working order and that I was pleased with the outcome, which I was. If you want your project done right, by tradesmen who care, then call Cornerstone. Will use them again for all future projects!

We interviewed 5 different remodeling companies. Cornerstone was not the lowest bid, but seemed the best fit for us. Aaron submitted his bid quickly and stayed in contact with us through all aspects of the remodel. We added on windows late in the project and they were installed very quickly. We had two guys, Abe and Kevin through most of the project, with private contractors coming in for the electrical, plumbing and drywall. Abe and Kevin were amazing! They were very clean, quiet, professional, and very patient with my overly inquisitive toddlers. We had a small leak in the sink and Aaron had a plumber at our house withing an hour, after 5:00 pm on a friday! We called them back to build new exterior steps in the front and side entrances, and that was completed fast also. We recommend Aaron Shaul and his team to everyone thinking of any remodel, and can't wait to get them to our new house to build us another dream kitchen!!

Great job. Great experience. Quality was exactly what I expected. They did what they said they would do. They did it when they said they would do it and they finished on time. They did it for the price they quoted. Hard to beat that.

They weren't very good at all and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. It took them forever to give us an estimate and they were outrageous. We had two other estimates for the same job and they were just way out of the ballpark, not even close to the other one. The guy was on time and he was pretty professional.

We cannot say enough good things about this company. Besides their exceptional character and integrity, they were efficient, easy to work with, hard-working, and honest. They exceeded our expectations. I have to say even my 10 kids adored them! They were patient and polite at all times. Aaron, Brendon, Dana, and of course the exceptionally talented Nate ( we love our island! ) made what we thought would be a difficult project, run smoothly. Our kitchen is amazing!! They are the only company we will call for additional work and highly recommend to everyone. Thank you!!!!

We needed the project to be completed sooner than later and they were prompt in getting a crew to our house. Someone from the crew ruined the weatherstrip on our front door but this was replaced promptly and free of charge.

The project went well. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the efficiency of the workers. From the very beginning Aaron Shaul with Cornerstone came out to evaluate the various projects we were interested in having bid. He was thorough, but didn't drag out the time he spent with us. That set the tone for the rest of the project. We had a plumber come in first to install the new plumbing line for the shower. Then guys came in to patch the wall and finally, we had tile installed. Everyone was very professional. The guys that patched the drywall were incredibly clean. I feel the quality of work was very good and the project bill came in nearly dead on to the original estimate. (A difference of only $60!) We're very happy with Cornerstone and will definitely be using them again. We've already signed a contract to redo our master bathroom and cant wait to see what they do!

I had Aaron come out to give me a bid on remodeling 2 bathrooms and a family room, probably a $30,000 job, he told me I should expect a bid via email by the end of the weekend. I never received an email, a week went by without any communication from him, so I called and left a message with him asking if my remodel was a job he was still interested in bidding I have never heard from him

The initial response was good. The follow up - we had to continually email them. They were here on time for the quote.

We love our new master bathroom!! Receiving that warm-fuzzy in your gut when searching for a contractor is not an easy thing to come by but after meeting with Aaron from Cornerstone Remodelers the search for the right contractor was over. Aaron was a pleasure to work with. He listened, was patient, communicated well, and before any work began he understood what we were looking for. To save a little money the company allowed us to demo the master bath ourselves. We put out the word to family and were able to get the demo work completed the weekend before they started. Aaron assigned Tim and Jeff to the project to perform the work. These two guys were unbelievable! This goes back to that warm-fuzzy and finding the right contractor. Aaron hires quality people! Tim and Jeff started with nothing more than the previous soaker tub and studs but created a fabulous, just-what-we-were-looking-for master bath. They took their time and completed the work right the first time. What made the experience great is everyone was available for questions and was personable. We couldn't be more pleased with the results and overall experience. An exceptional company with top-notch employees and integrity! I highly recommend them! We look forward to our next project with Cornerstone Remodelers!

We went with another company but they were very close second. They were very nice, very responsive, and very professional. The only reason we didn't use them is because we used somebody else. Their prices are very reasonable and they seemed knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. I'll definitely consider using them in the future.

Overall, it went very well. They do good work and are responsive to customer service needs. The only criticism I have is that they said it would take 3 weeks and it took them 4 and a half weeks to complete the project. This was not a big deal since it was a guest bathroom. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

This is my second experience with Cornerstone Remodeling (they helped with a problematic oven installation earlier this year). They do excellent work from start to finish. Nathan, one of the co-owners, ran the job. His attention to quality and detail is outstanding. And, he was very communicative about all aspects of the job. For example, when the tile came down on the wall behind the oven, Nathan noted that the electrical was not installed properly (kitchen had been remodeled by previous owners a decade ago). Instead of just slapping the new tile up, he explained the situation, corrected the electrical issue and repaired the wall. And, this is a curved wall--not an easy task and they did it beautifully. They do not cut corners. Also, the tile I chose ended up being more difficult to install than anticipated--lots of tiny tile to cut by hand and install individually. It was very precisely done. Nathan and his assistant, John, were friendly and professional. They told me approximately when they would be arriving each day and then called before heading over so that I could adjust my schedule accordingly. The job site was cleaned each night before they left. I just looked at my notes from the job and see that the company tag line is "Where Quality and Integrity Meet". In my two experiences with the company, this is an accurate statement. I intend to use the company again.

Once Aaron's people came on site to do the work, we never saw Aaron again (although we called a few times with questions, which he did answer.) His workers were courteous but seemed to need more guidance in doing trim work and finishing up. My disappointments were as follows: 1. In some rooms, the painters sprayed over the vents and in others they removed them first. 2. There are numerous paint drip marks on the walls. 3.The floor threshold separating the kitchen from the family room was pieced together with two difference stained woods, so they don't match. 4.Trim in one room wasn't painted, and although I understand that all the trim would have to be repainted to match paint, no one offered to do that additional job. 5.Wall screws in one room were painted over rather than removed. Probably the most disappointing was lack of oversight, and there was no follow up to look the work over to make sure we were happy.

They were prompt with a price estimate and scheduling the date. Installers arrived on time, didn't damage anything, completed the work quickly and professionally. We would definitely use them again.

Working with Aaron was great, he always answered his phone and made sure everything was right. I wasn't 100% happy with the end result...they never called to consult things like where to install mirrors (they hung them way too high and I could barely see my face in them...they lowered them but had already drilled holes in the newly put up tile and now have chunks of tile missing). Some of the tiling isn't installed the way I would have done it...I did feel like I had to harrass a bit to make sure things were done correctly and on time. However, I did add things as we went and Aaron did make sure to right every wrong before they collected. Once he came and finished up the work, it was done better..but I'm not sure the guy they contracted to work on our house was the best. He did have a guy that made us custom sink/counters and I love them. They also have a wonderful painter that they contract out who I'd use again and again....overall, I'm not unhappy with the work, but am not sure I'd use them again.

Bathroom was a total gut job. Cornerstone gave us the bathroom of our dreams, given our space and budget constraints. We have recommended Cornerstone to multiple people after they have completed both a front porch and a back deck, as well as a bathroom for us. We will definitely give them a call on our next major home project!

I did not hire this contractor. I received another bid at same time, and everything seemed nearly the same. I liked both contractors, their referrences, and the prices. I asked them both when they could start, and picked the one who wanted to start the soonest. I think Cornerstone would have done a fine job. I would not hesitate to hire them in future.

They started the job on-time with a dumpster in the driveway that morning, and had the cabinets out within a couple days along with the old appliances. They got the floor and walls stripped promptly, then verified the locations of the cabinets, plumbing and electrical locations twice with us. Once the plasterers were done we painted ourselves the third week. They located the cabinets the fourth week, and did electrical and floor tile the fifth week. The last week they installed appliances, backsplash, and finished every thing beautifully.

I met both the owners Nathan and Aaron. Both are very personable and pleasant to work with. They truly make great partners! They worked with me coming up with and trying different ideas until we settled on the right solution. I ended up with a new rustic looking room with beautiful sliding doors. I'm so happy I could bust! My only negative comment would be the length of time to complete and a couple of guys they sent. BUT Aaron came and made sure I was happy and boy am I. The other thing that was really nice is I didn't get an attitude or anything! He was VERY professional and genuinely wanted me to be happy with my job. I plan on having them do my front porch and then later on re-doing my kitchen!

Overall the experience was great. Aaron answered all my calls kept me informed as to what was going to happen next. This company is wonderful.

They finished the work just before Christmas and they did a good job. My final check cleared on the 29th of January for about $1220 for that service and I paid something up front. I liked them and would use them again. I got several bids and I would give them an A rating on their pricing.

Contractor started project several weeks later than originally planned because of delays on other projects. Started 4/6. Our daughter was home recovering from surgery beginning 4/11, but Cornerstone was very accommodating by minimizing noise and disruption. Project was supposed to take 3-4 weeks but took 6 weeks because Cornerstone was short workers and we added a couple of extra plumbing tasks. We didn't have an architect for the remodeling, so we relied on Cornerstone's advice and the recommendations of vendors which worked out very well. We are very happy with the final results.

Cornerstone was great! We have a 1929 Tudor and the bath room tile was actually set into concrete. We tried to remove the tile ourselves but weren't having much luck. Cornerstone was able to take care of everything in one day. I would definitely use them again.
