JB Electric was the first contractor I worked with with my home. Steve came in initially for a free estimate of what I thought I needed done at the time. Bid was fair price. Appointment made and Steve came back to do work contracted for. On time & professional, work done in 1 day. I called JB Electric back to schedule another free estimate and to continue work to rewire new central air conditioning unit. Equipment functions well. Great experience.

This winter, Jason from Thrasher Basement completed the installation of a radon mitigation system in our multi-level residence. His team performed a vital service to my family by reducing our radon level from over 16pCi/L to under 3pCi/L (less than 4pCi/L represents a safe level). It also produced the unexpected benefit of removing a stale house odor we've been unable to get rid of for over a dozen years. They were very accommodating in determining the exact placement of the entire mitigation system and were meticulous about cleaning-up their work area when the project was completed. We were impressed that the production manager, Aaron, stopped by during a portion of the installation to provide us additional assurance that some minor modifications (necessary for our particular residence) were being performed properly and to check on our satisfaction with the project. Every question I asked during the process was thoroughly answered with courtesy and a pleasant demeanor. Of course, this wonderful experience all started with a very encouraging visit from the Thrasher sales rep, Don, who set up the radon gas testing equipment and patiently explained to my wife and I all of our options, based on the test results. Don was extremely pleasant and at no time placed even the slightest pressure on us accept the services of Thrasher Basement, though he spoke highly of their capabilities and commitment. The folder of professional and informative brochures he left us was helpful in understanding the health risks and remedies we had to consider. And we also found other helpful resources at the Thrasher Basement website. From start to finish, our experience with the Thrasher staff was exceptional. We highly recommend their services to anyone in the Nebraska, Western Iowa, and Northwestern Missouri region.

He was prompt, courteous and cleaned up after himself. He was more knowledgable and profesional than some other electricins we had used in the past. I will use him exclusively in the future.

First of all, the people who put the covering on the walls did not make the material smooth. It didn't look anything like the brochure. I called them and insisted that one of the owners come out and look at it, and he agreed. He sent out another team, and they made it tighter, but they didn't cover the footings. I would not recommend them to anybody.

I had 5 bids, JB was right in the middle- not the lowest. They explained how they came up with their bid & showed us why the low bids were not to code. Everything was done clean and tight and professional. Workers were early and showed up when promised (believe it or not!), were clean, polite, and really cared about doing things right. The job took 2 days. A few problems came up but JB stuck to their estimate. The supervisor helped start the job and then came back to help finish and answer any or my questions. In summary, Well Done, Efficient, and how jobs should be done. I now question the contractors who make the bids regarding their crews. We have had a lot of problems with crews that were non English speaking and would never show up on time or finish the job and then we could not find them-no contact numbers. Or if a problem came up we could not communicate. So I ask about this and make sure everyone is legal and can be contacted.

I was very happy with the work. This was an emergency type need when the whole house is sinking in. There is a creek bed running by my property and I think it caused erosion to my foundation walls. I am planning to sue the city over this because of the cost and the work involved. I do have a solid dry basement now with a ten year warranty on dryness.

They were very expensive but they did a wonderful job as my basement doesn t leak anymore. They were on time and cleaned up very well. I would highly recommend them because they are a reputable company and the workers were polite and well trained.

I would say that this company did a great job while working in our home. We were very pleased with the service. I would recommend them as well to other people because they are friendly and the prices seem reasonable.
