The initial selection process went well. You make your selections at local vendors, so it allows you many choices and you can really customize your home. Our difficulty began at the time of closing. We did an extensive walk through a week prior to closing pointing out all of the things that needed to be fixed. When we moved in, nothing had been done. We were reassured that is would be taken care of after we moved in. We struggled to get them to come. About 10 months after we moved in we finally got the painter to come and do touch ups (10 months!). At that time he knew he could not fix all of the mistakes he had made and offered us $500 to be finished with us. We also had significant concerns about the quality of our deck. We finally got them to fix it and they rebuilt the railings and stairs. However, it took until the last week of 10/07 and required almost weekly phone calls for 3 months to get it finished.
Description of Work: We selected a spec home from Barr in 3/06. It was currently being drywalled and we were able to make all of the finishing selections. It was a two story home. We moved in in 6/06.
