All the guys were on time very polite & professional-we called them on a Sunday-they came & installed window units-following week installed new A/C & heat I would recommend to everyone & I do!

I am so impressed with O'Brien Service Company. I will recommend them to everyone. I filled out their online request contact form and they called me within minutes of sending the request. When it was time for the appointment my service technician Toby was one time, very kind, and professional. He took his time explaining everything he was going to do and why. I asked him several questions and he was very patient, he set up my service maintenance plan and did more than was asked. I know he probably saved a lot of money by cleaning the unit and being honest about the situation. I needed filters and he put the order in when he was leaving our house, the filters were supposed to come in a couple days, but they called to let us know they were in the neighborhood and brought them only 2 hours after the initial service visit- they didn't want to leave them on our porch because it might rain and asked if it was ok to drop off. I will use O'Brien Service Company again and recommend them to everyone. Great customer service and people.

8/01/16 Josh arrived on time and repaired our 19yr old system that kept house cool X 5 days. System leaked all refrigerant. 8/24/16 new trane HVAC install by Jason & Michael. All were very proficient, professional, courteous, timely and down to earth- people friendly!

Scott was super nice and quoted a variety of options. Installers Caleb and David were on time and very professional. All work done in a timely manner and they cleaned up everything before leaving.

Wonderful! Everyone is wonderful to work with, polite and generous. Worked on a Saturday to do install. Offered to bring us A/C if needed to keep us cool while they worked in 110° heat.

They arrived on time and removed old unit that was struck by lightening. They installed new pump and thermostat. The job was completed in one day. Everyone was professional. The new system works great. I had more than a few estimates and O'Brien was mid priced. I liked that they were the most thorough in inspecting in, out and under my home. Very happy customer.

A team performed estimate measurements & made recommendation based on size/floor plan. Another team installed the unit and tested to make sure all worked OK. A follow up visit also was performed.

The initial crew, David and Travis, arrived on time and worked diligently and quickly in the short attic space. Beautiful installation with all new air handlers and appropriately mounted/installed drip pan, air handlers and heater. Initially worked great until we discovered a leak in the skylight late at night. We contacted their 24/7 service number and got a prompt return call. The on-call service tech requested we turn off the system immediately and offered to come out to take care of residual water until the installation crew could return the next day and figure out what happened. Turned out that the installation kit for the inside evaporator coil was missing a kit part that was not on the installation specs. O'Brien went all out to fix the issue, overnighting the missing kit part and pulling in additional techs to do pull out and reinstall the coil with the kit. I know many companies who will do their best to divert attention from a mistake but O'Brien has shown what kind of company they are. Every service company makes mistakes, even the best. It's what they do when they're faced with a mistake that sets companies apart. We received calls from the original installation crew apologizing for the mistake, offers by the company to correct any secondary effects from the leak (there were none) and genuine concern to make things right. They have my business for good.

i am a little disappointed in the add on service for a new install last year. i was told i had a year to add this service. when i called to add it on they priced it hundreds of dollars more than i was verbally told during my install. i strongly caution people to be careful on this. i could have easily saved money using a competitor, but i thought they were trustworthy. but this is only my opinion.

Our long time HVAC serviceman moved to Raleigh so I researched Angie's List and found O'Brien. I chose this company because of the numerous exemplary reviews and ratings, and felt that we couldn't go wrong. My assumptions was correct. Our O'Brien service tech, Chris J, was punctual and extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was also very friendly and a dog lover (good thing since we have two). He serviced all three systems in approximately 3 hours and found only one issue with one of the water systems. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone.

Removed existing HVAC & duct work. Replaced everything, checked some vent placement for better coverage. Finished in 3 days, cleaned up, very pleased with service.

The installation process took place over the course of 2 days. The installers were very efficient and a pleasure to work with. Not a single problem!

Pros: They are on time and very polite. Cons: The technicians break as much as fix. Explanation: I had them come over for 2 years and the first time they fixed the AC perfectly. So I had the yearly service which includes them checking the system every 6 months as a routine check. Every time they came out with a different tech they actually broke the system and apologized over and over. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and after 3 different checkups and each of those times they broke the system then repaired it each time. I can only defend them only so many times to my wife before she blew her top the last time because one of those times they broke it and had to wait for the part for 2 days without AC in the dead of summer. I told the tech to never come back and our service agreement is officially terminated. They keep sending me bills for a service I no longer have? They have problems and I hope they can fix them without breaking more stuff.(like having a bull in a china shop) Note: If they actually called me and tried to find out why we stopped using them my wife would have given them another try. But no they just keep sending us a bill that we will never pay because of a service we never received. I am not angry per se, I am disappointed. Good luck O'Brien, may GOD be with you.

They have been very thorough on everything. There has been a part problem and it's not their fault. The HVAC doesn't work properly. They have been on top of all that. I've had some small water problems in my house. I had to get a new air vent put in and they were prompt on doing that. They've been very responsive to any minor problem or any problem that I've had with the systems so far. I thought the price was okay. I have no complaints about anything they've done. They have been very responsive in every aspect of problems that I've had. They tried to answer the questions over the telephone, if possible. They have a technician in the area to come and respond to whatever problem I've had. My interactions with them were excellent.

Went well the guys were on time and finished 4 hours latter and it works fine, happy with the overall project.

It has been great. It has been superb. They were great. The whole service was impressive when they came in. For price, I think they were fair. They were very clean. They cleaned everything after themselves. They always came when they said and they were right on time. I was very impressed with the whole company.
