They are very reliable, they are very courteous. They do things in a timely fashion. They are very professional. The price is a little high. They do excellent work. They are very punctual. I would put them as number one on my list if you needed to get an air conditioning unit.

Mike the service (sales) came and gave me a complete description of what was needed. Did payment plan, or (helped get financing) told the times and who would be doing the work. Could not have asked for better service.

Tech was extremely professional, came equipped to service the units. Extremely courteous and had shoes covered the entire time during service. I would use this company any time and will recommend to others for services.

We began working with O'Brien from out of state before we moved into our new home in Wilmington. They were easy to work with over the phone and sent various options for us to choose from. Once we moved in they were very professional and came out to the house prior to the install. The installation was great and installers were friendly and worked efficiently. After the install, they came out again to give us our paperwork and make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend O'Brien for all heating and cooling needs.

We received a reminder call for our annual service under our service contract. The technician arrived as scheduled (we received a call prior to his arrival). The technician asked to see all the components of our system before starting so that he would be familiar with the components of the system. His worked seemed thorough - he explained the condition of all parts and the entire system. He carefully explained the problem with the two electrical parts - some type of capacitor. He explained that one had apparently been installed in 2011 and should not be broken at this time. He contacted his office to make sure that O'Brien had not been the company to install the part (it had not). He made notes on the electrical problem - saying that they would have records should it happen again. He indicated that there could be another problem if these capacitors are not performing as they should. He said the units appear to be in good shape, and he could not identify any electrical problems.

This is a professional team of good-natured, down-to-earth, and practical men who, each, take great pride in their company, their Trane products, and their work. The bonus for me - the first full month of full operation with this new Trane HVAC system resulted in a 40% reduction in overall electric kWh usage and in my Progress Energy monthly power bill - compared to the same period last year with the old system. From beginning to end, this company of pros provided a very pleasant and reassuring experience for this single senior citizen. I look forward to a continuing relationship with this business for annual HVAC maintenance checkups.

They came out on SATURDAY night when I noticed my unit had turned white. They checked the unit and sent a sales person on M on day by my request. They were out replacing the entire unit on Thursday with a very professional job.

These guys are on the money. They diagnosed the problem quickly and had the part ordered and installed inside a week. The part was still covered by warranty so my cost was only for the two service calls. No complaints here. I recommend O'Briens.

The heater went out during a very cold night, Chris arrived within 4 hours of making the call. He replaced a blower capacitor and said the motor had some amount of burn damage. The unit is 11 years old. He said it could go out soon, or could last another 3 years. When I mentioned that we first started using them from a high Angie's List rating, he had me call up Angie's List and showed me their $50 coupon. So, he save me $50?

They made a prompt appointment. They showed up when scheduled and explained what they did when he was finished. The work was efficient and he seemed to know what he was doing in spite of the youth of the service technician. He said he'd been doing this work for a few years.

We actually had purchased our home while living in another state so we first developed a long distance relation with the company before meeting them in person.. Everyone was great as they worked around our schedules, helping us in every way they could. The company workers were friendly, prompt, and extremely clean, We had to have a new unit put outside, along with the inside work to accompany it.

This was a great experience. The service technicians arrived when the company said they would be arriving. The immediately went to work and completed the prescribed work they were to accomplish that day. Anytime they had to come in the house they placed covers over their shoes to protect the flooring. All in all this was a most efficient installation, performed by highly trained technicians and great follow on service.

They try to get out the same day or the next day; sometimes if they can’t, I understand that. They are pretty quick and they come out quickly. They try to solve the problem. They are fair. Their price is competitive.

On time, quick, efficient, fair price, and nice as they could be. Would recommend without reservations. Outstanding people to work with. Cleaned up after beautifully.
