Though O'Brien did not have the lowest estimate, we chose them for a new installation because of their excellent service, both with our emergency repair (on the old system) and Dave's thorough estimate. Dave took the time to sit down and discuss our needs and several different systems that would work for us. I also asked many different questions about the equipment and estimate that Dave answered promptly and happily (even on a holiday weekend). They even subtracted our full repair from the estimate! The actual installation went great. We hardly noticed they were here. We purchased a 2 ton 15 SEER Trane with a variable speed handler and wireless thermostat. It was a perfect choice. The temperature and humidity is much more even and system is very quiet.

The installers were on time and did a excellent job.

The salesman was on-time, took measurements, gave a full set of options. The installers showed up on-time. Did a professional installation and complete clean up.

After getting quotes from several HVAC contractors, O'Brien was the last company I called. Its amazing how close the pricing for all of them were within a certain range; but how different the measurement and examination of the home was. O'Brien's was a complete physical- top to bottom; it took several hours. I decided to go with O'Brien even though their price was the highest quote I received. I felt that I was going to get the highest quality job with them. There was a comfort level that just oozed from David, the salesman. The job was completed over the course of 6 days- 3 up and 3 down; based on our needs and schedules. The downstairs system was 28 years old and the upstairs was 41 years old. Both systems and all associated details in the home were brought totally up to code. The installers were very professional and knew what they were doing. When they left our home, you wouldn't have known they were ever there. I will admit there were a few minor items that needed to be sewn up prior to the follow-up meeting, but again- they were minor and taken care of immediately upon my mentioning them. I anxiously await my future power bills to start counting my savings! Overall, this is an extremely professional company, with trained technicians, and a work ethic that gives the homeowner the utmost respect and the best job that their hard earned money can buy, and I look forward to their service again in the future.

We'd give them excellent satisfactory marks. We've used them for the last seven years. They came with a proposal and we evaluated it and accepted it and they've followed up on the work that they did. There was no cost because we have an annual maintenance agreement with them. They're responsive, professional, competent and respectful. They always wear little shoe protectors in our floors. I've no reason to go away from them as a company. I'd give them an excellent rating all the way across.

met with a coordinator that mapped out house. went over every option. came up with a plan. it was a 2 day process. every component was replaced except a copper line and some duct work. the had to also widen a return to allow more air intake. i hate having work don always expecting damage. after each day the workers cleaned and i could not ever detect they were ever here. i did not even have to take out a vacuum. they spent a lot of time protecting everything. in the end i have a new Trane system....and these guys did a fantastic job from start to finish. the only thing that reminds me they were ever here is walking into a cool house..

They were prompt, reasonable, everything went as they said. Said they would be done by 4. Little before 4, they were cleaned up and gone and system A-1. Very professional.

David did a thorough evaluation of the existing system and recommended a new Z-Z system over 2 days. Jason from Aeroseal performed duct sealing test. Chris G diagnosed problem with current system.

Tech came & repaired the unit with temporary fix and described options. We decided to replace. They worked with us from start to finish and did a fantastic job.

I do not have one complaint about the service or the servicemen. They went the extra mile by bringing me some heaters until the unit was installed.

The install went extremely well. They arrived early on Saturday morning and went right to work. They made sure to lay down mats down on all of the floors where they walked. There were two installers so the job went fairly quickly, took about half a day to uninstall the old unit and install the new unit. Both of the installers were very friendly and engaged both my wife and I in conversation but were also very diligent about getting the work done. After installation, they made sure that we knew everything about the new unit, explaining all of the features of the new unit, including all of the new things they added or that were different from our old unit. They were very thorough in explaining how to use the new unit since we opted for the fancy thermostat. I'm fairly tech savy and already knew who to use it, but I did appreciate them making sure I knew the do's and dont's, they even told me some things that I didn't know, so that was nice. After installation was finished they were very quick to get everything cleaned up. My one complaint with the install was the wiring that was performed when they hooked up the air handler in the attic, it just didn't appear very professional. All of this wires were "daisy chained" so to speak on the outside of the air handler and there were a lot of exposed wires. This, however, was all fixed during the follow up with the sales representative Mike. I voiced my opinion about the wiring and he was more than willing to fix the problem. He fixed the wiring during the follow up appointment right then which I was not expecting. Overall I was very happy with the experience and would highly recommend O'Brien for any future services.

Great, polite, efficient, we were kept informed through out the process. Clean, neat workman- like job done over 2 1/2 days. Sales man Mike Russal was extremely competent and instillation staff head by "Mark" was fantastic.

Mike was professional from start to finish. The installers left some trash but I called Mike and he resolved it right away without complaining or defending. Whenever I had questions they were answered and he always returned calls promptly. I got several estimates and they were competitively priced.

I was so stressed about this situation, but Mike the Sales Rep. who did a wonderful job explaining every thing to me in layman's language and the 2 installation guys who were so patient and nice to me made this entire experience a great one! The "Design Specialist"/salesman had a service technician background. He very patiently listened to any and all concerns or problems we had with the existing system. He measured every room and all windows in order to do a complete heat / cooling load calculations. He surveyed the entire system running in AC mode. After calculating room by room loads we sat down to discuss options that would address our concerns, improve comfort and save energy. Very knowledgeable very professional. Complete job took 3-1/2 days. Two man crew was polite, professional and punctual. They covered and protected the path through the house to the attic. They cleaned up after themselves and communicated well throughout the installation. Follow-up and system training was excellent.
