I did not go well. First, I was forced to take the car back to the garage after the first repair ($600) because of a faulty repair to the clutch pedal. Then, a week after the first repair, the clutch completely stopped working and I had to have to car towed back to the shop where the problem was diagnosed as having to replace the clutch, starter and flywheel which cost an additional $1000. Since this happened on a weekend and the garage has no weekend hours, I was forced to get a rental car which cost me $125, The next day while trying to start the car, the starter made a grinding sound, to which I had to return the car to the shop again along with the recommendation from another mechanic to check a strange sound coming from the clutch pedal which might be associated with the linkage. At this point, they said everything was ok with the clutch, however they replaced the starter. Yesterday (Friday) the starter began having the same issues and it's now the fourth of July weekend and I have no confidence taking my vehicle anywhere for fear of breaking down and getting another tow. I called the shop and am taking the vehicle in again on Monday to have it looked at. I'm ready to cut my losses and take it elsewhere, except that if the flywheel is bad it may be under warranty
Description of Work: First, they replaced a clutch master-cylinder. Then a week later, my throwout bearing in my clutch failed and they replaced my clutch, and recommended replacing the starter, which was less than a year old and my flywheel which was five years old.

Went smoothly, went in for inspection and routine service, water pump recommended as it had not been replaced (car had 145,000 miles on it). I agreed and gave them the ok. Car was ready that afternoon and I picked. The State of NC had already been notified that inspection was complete, I renewed my registration and everything fine. Am taking same car back this month for inspection and probably a timing belt. Have full confidence in this shop and would recommend.
Description of Work: oil and filter change, NC State inspection, fuel filter, water pump
