We needed a home security monitor with 7 cameras. When Richard was trying to sell the system, he told us it was an excellent system, once we install it, we won't spend more money to maintain it since the system cost $5000 +. We trusted him and had his company stalled the system. However, after installing the system, it keeps having issues with the cameras, either the cameras went out or the night visions not working. 6 out of 7 cameras were replaced within two years periods and costed us a lot of money. When I talked to Richard, he was trying to tell me it was the surge protector's issue. And he even suggested that we don't have money simply because we try to keep the cost down and we already invested a lot of money, don't want to keep spending money on the cameras. This is our worst investment in our house. Please save your money, don't go with this company.

Response from TLC Safe Watch
The system was not $5000 dollars to start with, but yes it was two years ago when they bought the system. They called me because the IR was out on a camera. When I came out I found 4 of the cameras IR was out and the Recorder was also. This is a good indication of a power surge on the system is what the home owner was told. I had the recorder replaced under warranty and I replace two of the 4 cameras. I did not charge them for the cameras even though they were out of warranty. His wife calls me a month later saying she wants a refund (The system is two years old and out of warranty even.) I told her that I gave her two camera for free and but I couldn't give her everything for free. She got upset and told be how she was going to run the business down. I tried to explain it to her but she was just wanting something for nothing. I also offered to right her up the statement for her insurance company. Power surges are covered by insurance. She didn't even want to do that. I'm sorry for her trouble and I tried everything to make her happy short of giving her a refund after 2 years. I have the phone call between me and her recorded should anyone like to hear it.
