Gentry's technician Marty Ledford was here when scheduled at 8:30 am. He got the furnace tuned and cleaned, then sold me on the CO alarm.The one they offered was the top of the line and a good price. I am happy to finally have the carbon monoxide alarm, as I have a gas furnace, gas cook stove and a small wood burning stove in the living room. This was quite the deal as I had the $49.00 gift certificate offered on your site. I also purchased their annual service agreement which is a good price for my next's years service and also covers any emergency or overtime charges for a year.

It was fine. It was timely. They were good about setting up the appointment. They attempted to sell us a capacitor for $95 that we found on the internet for $10. We declined that and didn't pay anymore than the price of the big deal. It's a two-part deal so they'll be back in the spring to do the next checkup. We would contract with them again for the same price.

I bought the deal from Angies list for $49 for a heating system inspection. They were very prompt and professional. They gave me a detailed list of what they checked and the results. They left a new filter because they said the old one still had about 3 weeks left.

They checked my basement furnace for winter use and found the equipment to hold a filter was never installed. They ordered the part to do that and a 4" thick filter. They had to get a second man to help move the dehumidifier in my basement which was blocking the instrument panel for my furnace. They came back on the day and hour they said they would. They also went through the house explaining which of my registers were in take and out take. They installed a carbon monoxide detector in my bedroom. I signed up for annual seasonal service.

I contacted Gentry b/c our heater was not working, A serviceman (Justin, I think was his name) came and evaluated the problem. As it turns out, we will have to replace the furnace which is quite old. Justin was very professional, mannerly, and knowledgeable. Since it will be two weeks before the new furnace can be installed, Justin brought a new space heater for us to use in the interim. That is exceptional service, and very much appreciated!

From scheduling the appointment through installation and registration of the equipment. Gentry was professional, thorough and educational. We obtained three bids for the replacement of our systems. Two were professional, and Gentry was honest and detailed. The price was very reasonable. The installation crew was unbelievable! They came in and out with no disruption to our household. We barely knew they were around other than the need to drill for the installation of our new lines. Questions about the auxiliary heat after installation led to an immediate response from Mike Young and a tech. Even the county inspectors were impressed with the quality of the work and the effort Gentry made in installing the outside unit. They are a great company with great people. What company goes ahead and registers your product with the manufacturer for you!!?

he found an aging capacitor which probably would have failed ... $88 now , better safe than sorry , mid-winter would be that plus a full or emergency service call, not to mention the cold inconvenience and possibly misssing work.

It was good. They did a pretty good job. I bought 2 deals because I have 2 furnaces and I didn’t know if it would cost me double. The guys came in about 2 weeks ago. I have no complaints. I got the job done cheaper than I would have gotten it done had I not used Angie’s List. I paid at least $135 for both furnaces to have them checked by another company. The man was very cordial and pleasant. I had an oil spill in one of my furnaces and he told me what caused it and how he stopped it. He didn’t completely stop it but it’s not as bad as it was. It was a good experience.

Terry was very prompt, professional and helpful. He did a thorough service, set the thermostat, and provided advice. I also purchased a contract for my mother who lives near me. Her thermostat was old, when he checked it, the emergency heat did not stay on, he discussed it with my mother, did not push her to replace it immediately, but allowed her to make the decision on whether or not she wanted to change it or wait and see. She chose to replace it due to it's age, which he was able to do at the same visit for a fair price.
