Using an Angie's List Deal, we hired Kenneth Redmond to clean/service our gas fireplace. He arrived when he said he would, did an excellent job and was very pleasant to work with. I mentioned our 11 year old blower made noise intermittently and it obligingly made the whining/grinding noise for him. We decided to get a new blower. He ordered it and scheduled install. In the meantime we used the fireplace and of course the blower now did not make the offending noise. (We planned to continue with the install anyway since it was only a matter of time until it failed.) When he came out to install it, I casually mentioned that naturally after ordering, it is not making the noise anymore. He offered to cancel if it seemed it wasn't needed and he would just keep the blower, adding it to his stock of spare parts. No pressure or ominous warnings of impending failure or anything. I was impressed. He installed it and we are looking forward to a whining/grinding-worry free Fall.

Ken did a great job We had not used our gas logs in years because of the odor present when we used the logs. Ken checked out our gas logs and found them to be in good shape. The just needed a good cleaning and a couple of adjustments. Ken was knowledgeable, pleasant and thorough. I'll definitely use his company again in the future.

Technician was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took the time to show me how the system worked and answered all my questions. He failed to follow-up with me on cost of parts that would need to be replaced next winter. All in all this was a great experience.

It went great! Kenneth arrived as scheduled. He was very professional and friendly. He checked the fireplace and detected a problem. He was able to correct it without any major repairs. He said he would first try blowing the area with nitrogen to see if that would fix the problem and it did. He checked all of the components of the fireplace to make sure everything was working properly. He also educated me about the type of fireplace I have and what I should do when using it for extended periods.

We have a ventless fireplace that is no longer manufactured. It's main problem was a smell of gas when turned on. One of the best things we liked about Kenneth is he specializes in fixing gas fireplaces. It is tough these days to get something fixed at a reasonable price, as compared to buying something new which is way more expensive. The unit threw him a couple of challenges but he stayed until the problem was identified and remedied. He is also a very personable young man.

Responded to email request in a timely manner. Showed up right on time the next morning. Assessed the issues, did what he could to repair the furnace. Had to come back on Monday to finish the repair. Was on time and fast in the fix. Thorough work with a great attitude and professional service.

They came out and did what we asked them to. They weren't able to help us any further. For what they did, the price was alright, it was a special. Responsiveness was what I expected. I would use them for an estimate.

Ken was very informative on how the gas fireplace works and what parts could fail. He performed a thorough cleaning, tested for gas leaks and CO, and then showed me how to relight the pilot should I ever need to in the future. Overall, I'm very happy with the service provided.

Mr. Redmond was promptly on time, very friendly and did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone.

The company owner arrived at the agreed time. He cleaned and serviced our gas logs as necessary. After he was done he cleaned up around his workspace. I would use your service again.

Kenneth met my husband and went through the gas logs making sure everything was in working order. They are working and he answered all my husbands questions. We would use them again.

This was good experience. Mr. Redmond was a few minutes early for the appointment. He explained everything he did as well as answering my questions. I was considering installing a blower and he explained why the blower would not serve the purpose. He covered the floor and cleaned up everything. I would definitely use him again.

Kenneth Redmond of Redmond Heating & Air arrived as promised at agreed upon date and time. He was very professional and took care to keep the house clean at all times. The fireplace was dismantled and parts were cleaned (burner, glass, jets, etc) and reassembled. He then tested that all was working well, adjusting flame and fan to our desired settings. Not until after getting approval all was okay did he pack up and leave. A very personable fellow who I would use again.

Fabulous work! He did a very thorough job, and I am very pleased with the result. My fireplace is working better than it ever has! Now we can enjoy its warmth and ambiance for many winters to come. I appreciated his explanations of what he was doing. I am not a handy person and he didn't talk down to me. I felt comfortable having him in my home. He wore protective booties and brought in a tarp to protect my hearth and carpet while he worked. He even went above and beyond: I mentioned that I'd always wanted a gas stove, so he offered to look and see if my kitchen was already built out for that. It wasn't. Then he offered to see if it was a viable option to have it installed. Alas, due to my house's construction, it's not. But now I know! He is very friendly and knows what he's doing. I would highly recommend Redmond Heating & Air!
