Very well. They were there when they said they would be and very responsive which is half the battle with contractors I have used in the past. They did a great job. It was a lot more work than I expected it to be but they performed above my expectations.

This job is our third hardscape project with Nicolas and his crew. He sat down with me and my husband and listened to our concerns regarding our front entrance. We three discussed different options and Nicolas offered helpful suggestions to make our front entrance more appealing and was very knowledgeable on correcting our water problems. He and his crew were always prompt on their arrival to the job and he made sure we were happy with the progress during each step until they were completed. Nicolas always puts out beautiful work and wants his customers to be happy and satisfied. Again, he has completed Hardscapes all around our home, in three different intervals and we are very proud to tell anyone who did our work for us. We highly recommend Nicolas’ Hardscape and Drainage. It went very well my wife loves it. Started on time and did all work in one day. I had to go out of town and when I returned it was complete. Since he installed it with a patio around it we have had several complements and some have wanted information on the contractor. Excellent workmanship

Nicolas installed a patio for me 2 years ago and this summer I called him back to add on to the existing patio, install a retaining wall and incorporate a fire pit. He and his crew were on time and if there were any delays he would text me immediately. As far as workmanship; I have been a REALTOR for 15 years and I see a lot of do it yourself projects. Nicolas does it right! Very professional craftsmanship and he backs up his work with a warranty. If you have an issue with his work he is back to address it quickly. The project went very well. Nicolas is very good at listening to what we (the customer) wanted and turning that vision into reality. He communicates very well and is responsive to our communication. Throughout the project, his is crew were always very respectful of our property, to my family, including our curious dog.

After interviewing many companies for hardscape service and getting nowhere, I was given a recommendation for Nicolas Hardscapes. He was the only contractor that responded immediately and his professionalism is unsurpassed by anyone who has worked on our house. We had a vision of the work we wanted done but Nicolas helped us to realize what would work and how they would achieve it. They always showed up on time, did all the work they promised and was finished on time. Nicolas was also very conscientious about updating contracts, when changes were made, and there were not any issues with anything! Prior to the project we had a drainage issue and their work solved that! Our back yard is beautiful and we highly recommend that look no farther and contract with Nicholas Hardscape & Drainage.

We needed an almost 4' high curved retaining wall built to prevent a slope from encroaching on a recent home addition and also needed driveway drainage channeled to prevent erosion. Nicholas came up with a better and cost-effective solution that we'd anticipated using locking blocks. He and his crew arrived promptly on-schedule and worked two days solid. Better still, Nicholas called us (completely on his own) after two recent gullywasher rainstorms to see how the drainage was performing. After the most recent storm he came out and improved one drainage channel with no extra charge. I would recommend him anytime based on the work he did for us -

He is always prompt, along with his entire crew, they work very hard and quickly and leave the job site better than how they found it. Nicolas has great vision on how best to do a project and both times they turned out better than we envisioned. You spend over thousands of dollars for this home improvement and you want top quality work. Nicolas assisted in design, the product selection, and oversaw the execution. If you want top quality, and a company who believes in delivering the best product for your home, this is the company to go with. I am hiring him again to improve the drainage in my back yard. Nicolas and his crew did an amazing job on my recent drainage project and installation of a beautiful stone pathway. I could not be more pleased with the way the project went. It was a big project, 2 patios with techo bloc pavers, firepit with sitting wall. Nicolas was very helpful in oroviding recommendations, adjusting to changes, communicating. He is prompt and thorough. Job was done in 2 weeks, even with a few rainy days, and including laying sod in my backyard. My backyard is beautiful. He is the man to see for your paving needs.

The project manager/owner kept us informed with timelines and sent daily text messages outlining the progress and plans for the next day. High quality products and workmanship. Job site was kept clean throughout and crew was knowledgeable, hardworking and super friendly.

Fabulously well! This is the second time we have had Nicolas come out and do some work for us. As a result of adding a sunroom at the back of the house, Nicolas came out and redid the affected areas and added additional pavers to complete "the look". He also added some below ground drain pipes, so I can finally get rid of the unsightly black drain pipe in my yard. Just like last time, highly, highly recommended!

I have no complaints of any kind---he discussed all points as we developed the plan, always finding a solution that I was entirely satisfied with; as the work progressed, he kept me fully informed of the development; and his full professionalism in all aspects was fully reflected in the performance of his crew. I have only praise for Nicolas and his work, and recommend him without reservations.

Excellent. Nicolas went above and beyond what was agreed to. Have had his new patio, retaining wall, and steps for almost 2 years now and they are still in excellent shape. Would recommend him to anyone.

This is probably not a job that Nicolas has done before, but I had used him previously and was very impressed. Nicolas is very easy to work with. He listened to the general principles of what I was trying to do. He made suggestions and was quick to ask questions on the specifics, as the work was done.
